After ordering again following 1 year of moving from the area, the pizza has gone seriously downhill. My suspicion was raised when the pizza arrived quicker than usual. There used to be a decent wait but my pizza arrived in under 30 minutes. It was undercooked, made with inferior ingredients and tasted like a frozen pizza. A premium pizza from your local supermarket blows this out the water. The dough was cheap, the sauce was bland and the fake pepperoni was trash. This used to be my favourite pizza joint when I lived in B44. My 5 star review was out there for everyone to see but I've had to change my score. Avoid.

I have ordered from Mama Mia SEVERAL times this year and because I rang off a different number but for the SAME address and they’re actually acting like I’m going to try and rob the food. I rate the food HIGHLY from here but I’m reluctant to order again due to what? Ordering a big order and then being paranoid about not being paid…Sitting here past 12am with no food.

This is the best takeaway shop I have tried and recommend to anyone that’s looking for something affordable but amazing. For 18th birthday I ordered from here and everyone enjoyed the food. Staff are very nice aswell.

Such a disappointment. We haven’t ordered in quite sometime due to traveling so decided we would treat ourselves to one of our favorite restaurants. Order was ready within a reasonable time but our food was nothing like how it use to be. It really was flavorless and if I’m truthful the dough was gummy. Due to such a dramatic change I’m guessing that there are new owners/management. We loved the food here but am very sorry to say that we won’t be ordering from here again. 😞😞😞😞

Would have given no stars if possible! Used to be best pizza place around, now awful! Food vile, service slow to say the least! Been ordering for over 20 years.. Will not use again!

This restaurant is one of the best, its always fresh and delicious food attracts me from afar, you have to try it and you will understand what I mean.

When you go to place an order it says the price, a 50p service charge and a delivery of 0. But as you checkout the delivery fee jumps from 0 to £2.50. If it had said that in the first place I wouldn't have wasted my time looking through the menu.

I was waiting at the bus stop for the bus and I needed to blow my nose. I asked the bossman for some tissue and he gave me, bless him.

Very bad place I would not recommend to try and order and get a delivery out of this place they didnt even take the order and take the money through food hub and now I gotta way 3-5 days to get my refund. Place is a joke

Apparently these are Under new management!!!!! Firstly I would not even give this place a 1 star rating. This place needs closing down before this management took over! These people don't know how to run a business. The Moma mia business manager for the franchise needs to look deeply at this store. As this business has been taken over they will need a new food hygiene certificate? Not the one left by the old management / company. Not good service/staff and Unhygienic. will not be coming here again. Making me travel to the place to pay for food before they even started to prepare the food, this was meant to be a delivery. They said card payment only? As the machine was not working they sent a link. My mate has been scammed by these people before as he paid by their link. This is why we had cash...... Other customers in the shop had the same issues and options.

Really Nice food, always comes piping hot and cooked fresh. Highly recommended the chicken kebab with salad and chilli sauce in a pitta bread. The Burgers and Pizzas are good too. The staff are very friendly. We Normally order using their own website.

Pizzas arrive soaking in grease. Used these for over 10 years, used to be good but constantly terrible pizzas.

One of the best pizzas in Birmingham, staff are friendly they use fresh ingredients everytime, heavenly pizza is a must, I travell 100 miles once a month just to visit this place, keep up the good work.

Delivery late , large pizza topping came off half of it was up side of box . Unable to pick a slice of pizza up without it flopping down . Cold and doughy . Chips missing from order

Had a couple of orders from here ordered 10" but only get 7" or 8" not getting what you pay for. You pay for the box as the box is 10" won't go there again. Better when other people was there as they have changed hands 🤔🤔🤔

Best pizza in Birmingham!! They open til late on weekends now too! To elaborate on this place, everything I have bought here is delicious. Pizza is always full of fresh and tasty ingredients, they make fresh dough everyday here. Their beef burgers are so good straight off the grill, best burgers and pizzas. Even the kebabs are something else, they don't sell cheap donner meat but their lamb kebab is proper fillet that you would expect in a high end restaurant, it comes as two skewers in a pitta bread or one skewer in a wrap. A little secret, ask them to put pomegranate sauce on your lamb kebab it's not on their menu but it is unbelievably tasty. The chicken kebabs are delicious too! Oh and the Mama Mia garlic bread is the best in the world. I honestly believe this place is the best pizza place in Birmingham and all grills are top notch. Highly recommended

Please explain how after waiting from 10 past 8 till half 9 my dough is raw on one of my pizzas and the other pizza is disgusting. This used to be a place of quality. £30 and I'm still hungry

the kebabs was the worst i have ever had and they was way too small for the price i had paid for them not ever going there again and they gave both my son and i upset stomachs i will also be getting in touch with the food and hygene people at the council

Have been a loyal customer of Mama Mia for years. Made an order tonight to be waiting an hour & 20 mins, when originally told 40 mins! When I rang I was told it would be a second as the driver had left. So I gave it another 10 mins still no food so rang again, to have someone extremely rude on the phone tell me yes he is there now ok & put down the phone! I still waited 2/3 mins before our order actually arrived & it was only warm & the pizza had dried up. Its safe to say I will not be ordering from here again! Very poor customer service especially for a loyal customer.

My family have been coming to Mama Mia for years. The food is always on point - better quality than the place around the corner. Reasonably priced, and the staff are friendly and always smiling. Definitely our go to for pizza and kebabs.

I find it odd all these recent negative reviews and a new pizza restaurant opened very close by. We have eaten here for years now and have never had bad food or experience. And we will continue to eat and support local quality businesses. Thank you Mama Mias.

Absolutely shocking ordered a pizza for delivery an hour and half later still no show phoned up to be told cant you come and fetch joke after 20 years of using the place I will never again wish I could give it no stars

We ordered two 12in pizza last week paid £15.99. Decided to order exactly the same 2 pizzas this time. First tried to tell us it was £22, then when questioned it man said “ yes ok £15.99” When they was delivered they had sent two 10in pizza. Called up to complain to be told got no one here to complain to?? Twice they have done this to us. Looks like find a different pizza company. Just be careful what they actually send you and how much your paying.

Wish I could leave 0 zero stars. The customer service was appalling being stared at and dirty looked because of not having a contactless card. Pitta bread was stuck to the paper so couldn't be picked up. He tipped the bottle of lemon juice over the salad to the point it was unbearable to eat. And to top it off I have gotten something much better for a cheaper price elsewhere. Disgusted

If I could give it zero stars I would. Waited an hour and 15 minutes for a pizza and chips, they arrived (we were only 4 miles away) and the pizza was cold and they forgot the free garlic bread. Rung to explain and they said they'd make another pizza and bring the garlic bread... 45 minutes later and still nothing, rung again and said they would make it then or we could bring the cold pizza and (by now cold) chips back for a refund... Absolutely ridiculous

Just had my first pizza from Mama Mia, It was absolutely fantastic, fresh, tasty and delicious! Mama Mia will be my go to for pizza from now on.

Pizza, pasta, proper kebabs, burgers and calzones! Everything made freshly to order! I love this place

The kebabs here are something else, you get two skewers of delicious meat in pitta bread. The lamb is proper fillet not like cheap donner kebabs you get elsewhere. They've recently added kebabs in wraps now as well which offer a one skewer option aswell. Not to mention their pizzas and pastas! Best in Birmingham even if I do have to drive 6 miles out of my way!

I have to say this experience was similar to eating an Italian dish in a upmarket resturant in Italy (e.g Florence or Venice ) with out the extortionate prices but with all the high quality's and standards I totally recommend you to try the food and see for your self Amazingly fresh and delicious ☺️🙏

Probably the best pizza in Birmingham. I go to this place at least once a month because it has a fantastic range of Pizzas and it is not over priced. I suggest anybody who likes pizza at least gives this place a try.

I like Mama Mia food because of delicious, pizza and kebab many times I had ordered , I was enjoyed, but sometimes they are delay because of many customer ,I realized because their pizza really delicious,that's why sometimes they are delay. But I'm happy with them.

Great food. Simple as that. I've tried half the menu and have never been disappointed. Food always tastes fresh compared to other takeaways. One of my favourite pizzas and i'm a pizza fanatic. Pasta is great too. Nice to know i can get really tasty food at a good price still. Recommended!

Wrong size pizza deliverd and it was cold

Ordered via 'just eat' at 20:45, eta 21:25 just eat confirms delivered at 21:50 phoned restaurant and told 10 mins at 22:00 STILL NO FOOD FROM THIS PISS POOR "RESTAURANT" AT 22:30 DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!! They didn't even answer the phone for me to cancel either!

Order didn't turn up at all after waiting an hour after expected delivery time couldn't get through on the phone to the restaurant. There was just no answer at all. First time trying this place defintly the last.
