Mama Mia in Scarborough

Please only ever use Mama Mia when ordering Kebab's and Pizzas. Fantastic food, quality, service, friendly staff. Will only use them when I'm in Scarborough. Thank you.

This was appalling half my food arrived had to phone up to ask where the rest of my order was they sent the rest out but I sent the kebab back it was hard overcooked and cold they said they would send another out but they still haven't sent us another one out or refunded me for it attached a picture of the kebab

I’m a big lad. This is not my first takeaway BUT……….. Thos is the best chicken and chips I have ever had. I just wish Mama Mia was my local takeaway.

I have grandchildren who are Muslim meaning they’ve got to eat halal and I said to them “lets get some food” so we arrived there my daughter is 13 and knows health and hygiene and basically will refuse to eat anywhere dirty so anyways back to the point so my grandkids ordered some burgers my daughter ordered donner meat and chips and I ordered

Lovely food, polite staff, food was super tasty, arrived quickly and was demolished even quicker! Can't complain! Definitely recommend and would definitely order again!

Their pizza is delicious, it's definitely my favourite in town! The Margherita has two types of cheese and is so light and non-greasy, really good quality food and great service too.

If I didn't live across the Atlantic in New England, USA, I would order everything on the menu twice! Management at this establishment is top notch!

Banning people from entering if they chose to wear a mask during a pandemic isn't exactly great for customer service. Covid19 is clearly real, & forcing customers to risk themselves and others is ridiculous.

No masks , no service Awful , little Britain , backwards place . The staff all look dirty , no gloves on any of them . Please please send round the local environment health. Stay away

Like all sensible people we wore masks. Only to read a notice saying we was not welcome. Terrible if they think protecting yourself and others is a bad idea. Could not taste the food. Plenty of people walking away

Can't comment on the food as we were not welcomed in. They refused entry to masked people. Strange attitude towards health, glad we were not welcome as it makes you wonder what other hse guidelines they dont agree with.

Great food and great service. So nice that we weren’t forced to wear a mask especially as my children find it scary seeing everyone walking around in them. Thank you for standing up against Tyranny for us all. It’s not easy for a business to do so massive respect to you xxx

Sign in window saying they do not allow face masks to be worn so we turned around and walked away. Shame really as was recommended by a friend, I just fear if they do not take health advise seriously, their kitchen could be filthy and hygiene standards below satisfactory!

Unsanitary establishment, posted a sign banning the use of masks in their takeaway that is contrary to the law and risks any customers getting a fine. Located next to a care home that has suffered losses due to a disease they are actively encouraging their customers to spread. Spend your money at a place where people understand community and caring for the well-being of others.

Refusing service for anyone without a mask is not only unlawful, but disgusting. This pandemic is real, and every little helps. If wearing a mask for 5 minutes whilst ordering food will help, then everyone should be making that compromise.

Odered a mixed kabab and im sorry to say it looked like a load to meats thrown together with onions and covered in oil. Plus on top of all that a tiny little pitta bread with small pot of salad costing £9.50 almost £10 waste of my partners money as we pretty much thown it away.. woukd not recommend them at all

Our family has had long term Consistently excellent service and food! The staff are super friendly and if you need to tweak your order you can and they are so kind and happily do so. The offers are especially excellent value! Bravo Mama Mia’s you are legends!

Ordered pizza.. Hawaiian burger.. All came fine and in good time.. apart from the driver bringing to kebabs instead of our order.. Maybe it was his first day or this sun got to his head. Or I could see why hes likely to got confused.. As always ordered a chicken shish wrap off the menu.. Only to come unwarped. And the chicken wasn't shish..was more chicken nuggets. So you can see the confusion. Is right through the company. From management to deliver driver. Which I ask should the menu be updated.. to Wraps.. 2.chicken nuggets unwrapped.

Best burgers in town! Always quick delivery. Friendly staff. Pizzas are generously loaded with toppings

last drop off on a delivery , stopped in here and mmm thank you we did , great service great food indeed and at a resonable price late at night n got chatting , they were even amazed bolton won first game great food indeed

Vinimos aquí hace 3 meses y les dieron la orden equivocada. Terminamos caminando 30 minutos volver a obtener un reembolso. Decidimos después de esperar 3 meses sin intentarlo. Quizás fue mejor. NO nos fue tan mal. Nos hicimos un pedido por una hamburguesa, aros de cebolla, patatas fritas de queso y un pan de ajo. Sólo patatas queso y pan de ajo vino (después de 45 minutos). Cuando nos llamó el chico en el otro extremo del teléfono discutió con nosotros, y debo decir que fue muy grosero, y dijo que no ordenó la hamburguesa. ¿Por qué nos llames y quejarse? ? ? ? De todos modos el pan de ajo era como de goma y las patatas fritas de queso tenía una muy pequeña cantidad de queso en terminamos agrupamiento todo y hacer nuestro propio! ! ! Nunca le pida desde aquí de nuevo y le sugerimos a cualquiera que esté pensando en dar una oportunidad bien no ahorra dinero. Has sido advertido.

Ordered some food including some cheesy chips (hardly no cheese and they charged £3 cheeky t@#!s) asked specifically not to be microwaved.. and they were microwaved not happy. Sort it out stop microwaving cheesy chips even not on request chips go manky!

Absolutely disgusting! It has to be bad when my 7 year old that would eat a scabby horse took one look at her meal and told me she wasnt eating it. Slimey chicken, wet chips and tough pizza!

Tenía un festín de carne Calzone y mi pareja carne kebab y patatas fritas. El Calzone estaba muy bien preparado y muy sabroso. Tenía una taza de la mayonesa de ajo, que era muy agradable. Mi pareja disfrutó de ella excepto ella tenía algunos rizado patatas mezcladas con sus patatas fritas. En general, buena comida a un precio razonable

Great little takeaway with good food at great prices. the staff are really friendly and honest also the delivery is reasonably quick and always piping hot too

Me and a few friends went to Scarborough for a night out, when we got back to our hotel we thought we would try this place as it came recommended by the guy in the hotel. Food was delivered in good time and was nice and hot. We ordered 3 pizzas and even got a free bottle of coke! Overall food 2as very good, you can taste the quality ingredients used. Will definitely be back next time I'm there!

I have used this Pizza and Kebab take-away for years and highly recommend it. Excellent service, very clean, value for money and quality in food.

This takeaway is one of the best in Scarborough due to the family friendly feel and the consistently professional and friendly service, excellent quality of the food and the value of the offers, which in this current economy, means that a family can still have the odd takeaway!We have been customers for years and always believe that we are part of the mama mia family! Ordered a vegetarian pizza (peppers, onion, corn kernels, pineapple and fresh tomato and probably a few more ingredients that I can't remember). What can I say? It was delicious and I really ate it with pleasure!!The man that answered the phone was very nice and the delivery guy was nice too, but we didn't exchange many words.I live a few miles from the restaurant but the food arrived hot anyway and the delivery itself was pretty fast (considering the distance and the time for the preparation of the food).I payed £9.5 for a 12" pizza and a light coke, which I believe is not that bad and probably is within average.To sum up, I can strongly recommend ordering a take away from Mama Mia's and I'm pretty sure I'll be ordering more food from them in the near future.Thank you and keep the good work :)

Expecting chicken and mushroom pizza got chicken tikka? Hate chicken Tonka so asked why it wasn't plain chicken-apparently don't do plain chicken...really? And also lashings of seasoning salt on chips-inedible should have gone dominoes :( pizza base was lovely tho!
