Maltsters Arms in Rhondda Cynon Taf

Bought a pint of Stella came flat, asked for a new glass no better told barman no choice of replacement . O well 4 pints left and 10 of us left for a better pub. Well done maltsters

What to say about this place, if onions could carry, I bet they would. Its a bit of a miserable place here,, no kidding.. For some reason, the place is sad, the place is shabby, but yet, the cloud drapes here like a certain. Quiet a heavy presence here, een the sstaff are afraid to go to places on their own.

Visit this place regularly now as I’m from the local area I never had been in this pub and I was definitely missing out the atmosphere is brilliant and drinks are always spot on and never out of taste also the staff are tremendous and chatty

One of the last few good locals with a great atmosphere. A comfortable watering hole that isn't a generic chain pub, how refreshing !!

Best Night Ever, would 100% go back, Karaoke was the bomb. Staff were excellent, few characters but overall extremely good venue.

Great place to pop in after your shopping. Staff are "great". Good pint and good value. Worth a go. Great location just 2 mins from the main street.

I stopped here for a drinks whilst in Pontypridd the décor is a bit dated and dreary but the staff do make up for this the bar area is cleanish but not perfect some of the customers do leave a lot to be desired but other than that average

I like this pub, staff are friendly and you an usually strike up a conversation with the regulars. Not a fancy modern place and that's what I like about it. Close proximity to the lido, town centre and bus station.

A big old fashioned pub that only fills up at the weekends like so many these days but a very friendly owner and bar staff who remember your order from your first visit. No SKY T.V. or B.T. Sports channels but will change channels on the terrestrial t.v for you if you ask. Food is served of an afternoon and the bar staff do ask you if you want to order food before the kitchen is due to close but not ate here for about 2 years. Pub is very friendly with the locals more than willing to chat to you.

Not been in this pub for 30 year, As you walk in the decor is a bit oppressive with dark green ceilings and red and white walls. We ordered at the bar and found ourselves a table. Linsay ordered the smothered chicken bake with chips peas and side salad. I had cod and chips and peas. It took about 20 mins to arrive but everything was freshly cooked. Really big chunky chips. We were very happy with our meals and would use this pub again.
