Had my son and daughter in laws baby shower here. Got to say Lindsay did an amazing job of decorating it. Nothing was too much trouble even down to making coffee for the people driving. No complaints about choice of beers and spirits. Would recommend having a small function here. Thank you ❤❤❤

By far the best pub in Neston, This is a family friendly pub, Beer garden, Tv's, pool table and a dart board, staff are friendly, happy and helpfull and it's trouble free.

Nice and bright Noisey jukebox with god awful music on it Quite a few unsavoury characters inside and out Rating is based on the quality of the Guinness alone

Visitamos hoy como me pareció agradable... qué decepción. El olor que nos saludó al llegar fue a humedad y cuestionable!! Los aseos de señoras bien por dónde empiezo... no inodoro, falta de cerraduras y el olor de vómito hizo girar y salir. Gracias a Dios la Red Fox no estaba demasiado lejos!!

Seen this place advertised as providing Jamaican food,was quite shocked that it only served crisps and nutsDespite this we stayed for a few drinks and enjoyed ourselves Lively village pub with an excellent beer garden

Staying with friends for few days I thought I'd tryout some of the local watering holes.Looks good from the outside,but the inside was another story, bare walls where televisions used to be,very dark and unwelcoming.The men's toilets smelt really bad,to the point where I tried not to go! The beer garden was littered with cigarette stubs,and had an array of dead plants scattered around the place.The most bizarre part of my visit was the burger van parked in the car park! Litter and cans all over the place,so untidy. There was also a strong smell inside,I believe the ladies toilets had backed up!! Had a few drinks,because it was close to base camp,lager was pretty nice and reasonably priced. The landlord was drunk and half asleep at the end of the bar,from what I gathered that happens nearly every night. Seemed to be full with locals who like swearing,a lot! Never had anything to eat. Not the best pub I've ever visited,and will certainly not be going back!

Still the best pub in Neston, atmosphere great, staff friendly and above all beer very good at good prices!

Iv often called in here for a quick pint always found it welcoming and friendly and by far the best pint of Stella on the Wirral

My friends and I decided to have a wander round Neston for Sunday afternoon drinks. After visiting the local pubs in the area which were very over priced and the atmosphere dreadful not to mention the very creepy owner of one of the pubs in particular (not mentioning any names) we decided to try the Malt Shovel at Neston. We are so glad we did with a video disco and rock and roll bingo which I had never played before up until now, we had a fantastic time with excellent service and an excellent atmosphere would definitely return next time I am in the area.

sólo puede acuerdo! "Hemos estado aquí varias veces en el pasado solía ser oscura y sucia bastante sorprendido con la nueva decoración,bar,productos. Buena selección de cerveza, a precios razonables, es mucho más barato que los otros bares en el pueblo. Todos los deportes televisados estaban bien jukebox, que era gratis desde las 7 de la tarde Se Mira bien desde el exterior con la nueva pintura, señalización y una iluminación muy buena experiencia potable" cerveza muy bueno, utilizada para tener una mala reputación, no ahora!
