Great pub in all aspects food 10/10 and very reasonably priced. Live bands, never a hint of bother, and a cracking atmosphere

Managed to get an outside table enjoy it here but disappointed no food available.

Possibly the best pub sign I've seen in all the years I've been doing this... The Mallard is something a little bit special... Huge dining / seating throughout including a very large function room with darts and live music events Gordon and his wife have been here for 17years and have this venue looking stunning... Hugely popular with the locals and after tasting the food its clear to see why. Gordon was a great host today... Very welcoming. Visiting The Mallard is a must if in the area... Spotlessly clean throughout and great service... Thank you... 😎

As a family we met up here on 30th Oct 2021 for a family reunion 30 turned up. The manager and staff were outstanding welcoming, meals catered for where family members had alergys were outstanding and tasty. Everything was outstanding. We look forward to coming back. Family travelled from far a field Isle of Wight, London, Lytham St Anne's, Houghton, Peterlee, Sunderland and seaham, everyone spoke of a great day at the mallard seaham. Recommend 150%.

Excellent venue, good food, clean toilets. Pity that they are unsuitable for anyone with standing up from the toilet. This prevents us from returning.

Had a beef sundays dinner today at the mallard and it was exceptional. Really high quality meat. Huge fluffy pudding and perfectly cooked potatoes and veg. The gravy was full of flavour. The staff are always wonderful and friendly. It's a very comfortable.place to relax as its recently been through a massive renovation. Would highly recommend.

The new look pub is lovely, more choice of drinks and more TV's allow for multiple channels, the new opening times accommodate for a new food menu and more family friendly. We turned up to try food at 6 one day to find the menu was 12-5 which I was not aware of (bar Thursdays which is 3-8pm) however been back a few times and the food has been exceptional. We will be back for more!
