The food and service were Fantastic. We had Pad See Ew with Tofu and the ingredients were fresh and hot. It is a very small place and the chairs aren’t that comfortable. But worth a visit for the food and fair pricing!

Tasty, traditional food. It’s not much of a sit down restaurant but there are a decent amount of tables if you prefer. Noodles dishes will be the best value for money but paying for a separately is standard in any traditional Thai food restaurant. Even so, with added rice dishes are priced around the same as the chain Wagamama‘s across the way but this place’s food actually has flavour. Service wise we didn't see much of the front of house and had to find her to get the bill. They also forgot our prawn crackers but we were never charged for them either. But the food itself is enough to make us return.

UPDATE: I can't remember the last time I went to a restaurant two days in a row, but I just went back. It is that good! (Also, the khao soi isn't on the menu but they made it for me both days and it's to die for!) Not much to look at but the best Thai food I have had since living in Thailand for 2 years! They even had Khaoi Soi! Authentic, spicy, amazing. And not expensive.

I wasn't able to eat here. The hours say 10 pm closing but they close one hour earlier than what is posted on their door and what is on their Google listing.

After mistaken chicken with beef they have a nasty attitude when it comes about customer service . I’m absolutely disappointed and disgusted about the service

Authentic Thai restaurant, delicious and with variety dish menu. There’s a small place and only one server, don’t expect you can enjoy fine dining. I ordered pad Thai, the ingredients are fresh and tastes good. I was in hurry to catch up the train but will come back to try more dishes next time.

The most delicious Thai dish with value price in Cardiff city center. If you craving for authentic Thai dish this restaurant will not disappoint you. The cook and waitress are very nice too.

The owner and the chef are welcoming, accommodating, and kind. I had the Pad Thai, which was incredibly delicious. I had asked for certain modifications and they happily prepared my meal exactly as I wished. The prices are reasonable. I definitely would recommend this restaurant.

Terrible food.all stodge terribly stingy with neat n veg.no ingredients.armosphere was bad with slurping eating friends of owner.never going back.a total rip off.

They tried to get me to order via Deliveroo despite being in the restaurant. They maintained the card reader wouldn't work and don't accept cash. That was after I ordered and the staff saying "green curry comes with rice", then trying to bill me £5 for rice. Avoid. Unserious.

No communication when the delivery took over 2 hours longer than expected. Told "Drivers weren't available" when we rang. Freezing cold soggy food when it did turn up ovee TWO HOURS late. Avoid.

Although it says take away you can sit in which was we did. Proper Thai food although I do find my green curry a bit salty for my tastes but I did finish it. We also had pad Thai which was good and tempura starters.

Delicious Thai food. It was a surprise to see Thai "boat noodle" here, but a welcome one. Pad krapow fried rice was ok as well. Thai milk tea was lovely, tasted like home. Friendly and polite staff. Will definitely be back

Exceptionally great Thai food in centre of Cardiff. Very authentic Thai flavours so expect some dishes to be fairly hot 🌶️🌶️🌶️. The lady taking the order was very friendly and efficient. Although the name says takeaway they do have a few tables for dining in.

As a SE asian, and a big fan of Thai food, I am not sure how this place received more than 4.5 stars. The pad kra pow stated its served with a fried egg but the server brought me something that looked nothing like pad kra pow, without the egg. She just said it doesnt come with the egg or rice, and I needed to tell her upfront before placing the order. I asked her I would have told her if I did not want rice or fried egg, but she just dismissed me. A totally disappointing meal.

Food: Haven't ate in a while, went there yesterday as my friends are leaving Cardiff and it was disappointing. Did u change the cook? The flavour changed a lot compared to last year. Why did u put so much sugar inside? The pad Thai was so sweet that we didn't even recognise it was pad thai until we asked. The vegetables in the Singapore fry noodles are not fully cooked either. We also ordered a soup(forgot it's name) and it was too sour, which you are supposed to put a bit more sugar inside... I can promise you all of the food was better last year, maybe new flavour is more acceptable by British people so you changed it, I don't know. As Asian we just can't accept it. Service: we asked twice and they started to cook all of the food we required, the cook chated in the kitchen and left our chicken skewers burnt on the grill... he completely forgot it until we noticed him.. I mean that's your own lost... Atmosphere was still the same, nothing changed, so four stars.

This is the most authentic Thai in central Cardiff. Fast friendly service, consistently great food. Great value. Forget Giggling Squid - that's for people who want to take a photo. Come here if you want to eat nice food, not look at the decor. (Note no loos)

Really good Thai food. Definitely stop in for a quick bite, they have a few small tables and fast take out. The Thai black coffee is sooo good! We ordered the old Thai (I wish they added peanuts to it is my only complaint) it was delicious, chicken satay (fabulous), and the egg fried rice (my kids loved it). My kids loved the food and I would go back again the food was great and service was super fast.

Ordered take out on a Saturday night. In the heart of the city centre off Mary Street. Has a few tables to eat in. Delicious food and tasted really authentically Thai. Pad Thai, Penang red curry, vermicelli noodle salad and coconut rice. All absolutely gorgeous tasting 😋. Best Thai takeaway we've had. Couldn't get delivery because of our location but well worth the drive to collect. 110% recommended. Another delicious meal, pad Thai, pad si ew, green fish curry 😋

Thai milk tea, Pad thai, Fish cakes…some of my favourites. Authentic taste and good value! Even with takeaway, they still tastes fresh when I got home more than half an hour. It’s a small shop so may have to queue sometimes but worth the wait

The prawn pad Thai was delicious and the portion was huge! As a foodie, couldn't finish it up:) it's not a very big place to dine in, but it's cosy enough to have a great meal. Each food comes with a free bottle of water.

My word. If there was a 7 star rating I would give it to them. This place is SOOO good. The flavour is immaculate and you feel it deep. The portions are extremely generous and absolutely good. Absolutely cleared my bowl.

Eating here as someone with coeliac disease and needing to avoid gluten was a pleasure. The manager and staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable and took all the anxiety out of ordering.

One of the best foods in Cardiff, for sure. This is a very authentic place with a wide range of delicious dishes available, which turned me into a fan of Thai food from being quite ignorant about it. Suitable for lunches (with a special lunch deal for £8.50 for rice + curry/pad Thai + water) and dinner. Try Panang/red curry with coconut rice, Pad Thai, and Pad Pik Khing - won't regret it!

Wow wow, had the prawn red curry & picked the sticky rice, mega value compared to some of the horrid chain places. Really authentic, one of the best I’ve had fare play, lovely staff, Really nice canteen type little tiny eating area, spotlessly clean, cutlery & plates were spotless too, Will 100% be returning, thanks ❤️❤️

I come in regularly for the lunchtime deal, which I have noticed has recently gone up by £1 to £8.50 . I still can't fault the value at this price however as the portions are large and typically do me for two meals (6ft bloke). You have to try the Green curry and the Pad Thai.

The most delicious Thai food in UK I can say. We ordered the green curry chicken, papaya salad, steam sea bass and coconut rice. We got one Thai milk tea and one Cole too. They cook the food immediately and deliver the food within 8 mins. Very rapidly prepared.

Confusing sing and bad service. Only just order about 10 seconds. The lady didn’t want to let me change my order, I wanted to order something with rice and the cousin I have ordered wasn’t with rice and she said but I already paid. :-(

Delicious food with sufficient portions. Super friendly and helpful staff. Price is comparatively cheaper than the nearby restaurants in Cardiff City Centre. Limited seats and tight space in the restaurant. Thai Milk Tea is on the sweet side but acceptable if ice were added. Worth a try !

So happy to find this little Thai restaurant in Cardiff! The basil pork was very tasty and authentic. Friendly Thai owner. Very big portion for the price we ordered too much but we finished everything anyway. They also have Thai milk tea! If you like very sweet tea this is a must try (I always order it wherever available). Shame it's quite far from where I live but if I come to Cardiff again I'll definitely be back.

Gorgeous authentic pad Thai and a great lunch deal. One of the best pad Thai I’ve ever had and quick service. You know it’s going to be a great spot when you walk in and everyone inside is Thai!

Tom not Yum. My wife had a takeout and it was lacking in flavour, very little seafood and the mushrooms were undercooked. Shame because the reviews are food here, maybe it was just the choice of food as a previous customer seemed to be enjoying the food. So hopefully am isolated case.

Been here many times and I swear by the standard of food. The curries here are the best in the city for sure and you can't beat pairing it with a lovely green milk tea. The pad Thai is great too massive portions never leave hungry and often with leftovers.

Brilliant Thai food - probably the best I’ve had in Cardiff. So full of flavour - and the lunchtime deal of £6.99 for a main dish and a water is a steal. So impressed. I would say it is tiny though, so try to call ahead to grab a table.

Very delicious. Prices are fair and the service is super quick. The packaging is very durable and also the pad Thai always come with a lot of chicken or a lot of prawns which is nice.
