I have tried two times Walsall branch but disappointed .

Absolutely love this place. Firstly reasonable prices. Absolutely love the range and variety of burgers. My personal favourite is the chicken flamak and the basic cheeseburger. There is plenty of seating and the customer service is good. Lots of new burgers on the menu. Current favourite is the mexicano.

Ordered some meals and a couple of desserts. Took a spoon of the milk cake and spat it straight back out. It was disgusting the milk was off and had curdled and the smell from the dessert was awful. I went back to the shop just about got an apology and was asked do I not want another one! The cashier is about to give me the cash back but another worker intervenes and states needs to be returned by card as I paid by card. 7 days later and money has still not been refunded .........

Ordered through Uber eats had the classic Parmesan and cheese burger. Parmesan tasted bland. Burger was ok nothing special. Also the fries were poor too.

dont order unless u want to wait 1 hour for ur food 22:50 i order and now 23:40 i called them they said busy waste of time

Ok start of came here after bad experience couple of months ago thought would give them another chance The fries were the worst i have ever had The burger was very dry and coated in algerian sauce. No third chance for this place has great potential like the rest of mak halal branches bad management i guess?.

Fantastic service, food was on point and the staff and manager were very friendly and welcoming. Kids enjoyed it alot.

I recently dined at Makhalal Restaurant in Walsall and had a fantastic experience. The branch manager was incredibly helpful in guiding me through the menu, offering great recommendations that made my meal memorable. Their attentive and friendly nature truly enhanced my visit. I highly recommend this restaurant for both the delicious food and the exceptional service!

Rubbish food overpriced not worth the money bun and peri much better pepes this place use cheaper quality products avoid avoid don't waste your money on this crap place undercooked cold disgusting food even the karak tea is rubbish from machine out of date milk used this place should called mak haraam mak thief's this place should be closed down ripping people off with rubbish food

i’m appalled at my food. upon arrival staples were poking out the side of the bags causing my hand to get poked. i then went on to finding a hair in my pizza. inside the chicken was pink. this has lead to me throwing up multiple times with a pounding headache and food poisoning. i DO NOT recommend. don’t order from this place. 0 stars from me

I don’t reccomend made me violently sick will not be trying from mak halal again i now have food poising and salmonella Do better. i wouldn’t even rate it 1 star but i have no choice i rate it 0 stars

FOUND A HAIR. Food was good as it usually is at the many mak halal branches I have been too however the service was rubbish. I found a hair in my burger which was the same length and colour as the young lady’s hair at the till (I was wearing a headscarf) My husband requested for it to be remade which they did but we could hear her joking with the kitchen staff that her hair was tied up so it must be the hair of one of the men and mockingly putting her hood on when she was told to bring the burger out. When she did bring it out she just stood there with the tray staring at me rather than saying it’s ready. I then overheard her being rude and speaking in a condescending tone to a woman who was trying to order but didn’t speak very good english. She definitely needs some lessons in customer service, horrible attitude.

Hadnt ordered from these for a while still far too expensive for portion sizes. Reviews remain the same. Food tastes ok generally just not enough of it for the price. August 2023: Lost a star on rating this time unfortunately...food quality is good, i ordered a double extreme burger but recieved a single which was disappointing, food is over priced for portion sizes. the burger with the mak deal was snack size not regular size as expected. The hot dogs are tiny as well not big like their pictured and not that tasty. loaded fries con carne are tasty. July 2022- gave 4 stars... Tasty burgers especially the extreme burger and good fries, the Ferrero rocher tiramisu is very nice. Nice Algerian sauce as well. The sandwiches and panini are quite good as well.

Ordered a couple of pizzas, flamak burger and a couple of beef burgers Flamak and beef burgers Hadd decent taste to them, but unfortunately can't say the same about the pizza, I wasn't a fan of the cheese they use.

Had a very bad experience today with the staff. I never recommended to my friends and family for this restaurant any more.

Ordered hot shot Parmesan from here, usually get it from the West Bromwich Mak halal branch. This one was dry, thin chicken and could only taste the breadcrumb. The West Brom Mak halal Parmesan is the best, proper thick, juicy and cheesy. The Walsall branch was doing a promotion on Uber eats buy one get one free - maybe they cut my ingredients in half across two 😂.

This branch had nice food until the past few months. They decided to change the fries and significantly reduce the portion size but at the same time increase the prices. Purchased a loaded box, couldn't eat half of it as the fries taste hard and chewy. We also got the spicy chicken burger. Has some weird chilli sauce all over the batter. Unfortunately most of the food went in the bin. Please go back to the previous fries you used to make!

Probably one of the best Makhalals out there. Food is 1010. The staff are absolutely incredible.

Not happy with the food that was delivered yesterday , fiery chicken burger was undercooked and was pinkish from inside. Had stomach problems afterwards.

Brum branch is actually pretty good, food comes fresh and hot. Walsall is another story its pretty inconsistent, if you order multiple items some will be cold while others are warm when you get them. They deliver on places like uber eats but if they get something wrong or forget half your order youll be out of luck and wont be able to get a redelivery. Theyll offer you to come pick them up but its not even worth gokng into the place. Id rather take the extra 30 mins to the brum one than come here

Appalling to see the kitchen staff have no hair nets while preparing food. Imagine the hairs you find in the burgers. Apart from that everything is amazing. The food and selection is perfect. Please take greater care with your staff hygiene standards. The kitchen is visible from the restaurant.

Ordered via Uber, not a great experience. Chicken nuggets were pink inside. Chicken wings were also pink inside. Fiery chicken burger- Don’t underestimate it. They literally drenched the whole burger bun, salad , chicken fillet in chilli sauce which just wasn’t pleasant at all. I love my spice. I love my chilli however this was just not pleasant at all. Did not Finish the burger after one bite. Did tell the restaurant about the pink chicken? Also sent pictures as requested. They said next time I come they will give the items again properly cooked and do not do delivery service so therefore, cannot re send me the food . Was not worth for me to go all the way to the shop to get the items again. This review is for them so they are just extra cautious when making their food. I hope they take this on board.

Ordered from here, especially for the milkcake. When arrived, it was frozen and had to eat like an ice cream. Not worth the money. There are other places where you can get fresh soft milkcake with bigger portion for cheap.

Very bad experience I found plastic part in my sandwich, i reported it that to staff member he gives me part refund and after that i don’t feel very well I will never eat from mak halal and i don’t recommend it

** Honest Review ** I had a really disappointing experience with M.A.K Halal at this branch. The service was incredibly unprofessional, and it felt like the employees didn't know what they were doing. I ordered a meal, and they got it completely wrong. When I called to raise my concern, they just brushed me off and didn't take my complaint seriously at all. It's frustrating because the food itself is decent, but the terrible service totally ruins the experience and puts me off from ever going back there again. They really need to consider getting rid of the counter staff who clearly lack any customer service experience. On top of that, I reached out to them using the email address on their website, hoping to address my concerns, but it's been over 10 days and I haven't received so much as an acknowledgment, let alone a response. This lack of follow-up just further highlights the kind of company they are, and it's clear they don't prioritise customer satisfaction. It's such a shame because the food could be good, but with this level of disregard for customers, I won't be returning anytime soon.

Overpriced rubbish. Service is super slow and food takes forever to make, food is way below average, normal chip shop burgers are of better quality. I don't know how the other branches are but this one is terrible. I've been 3 times and each time is as bad.

I've had food from here today while waiting for the order I've people in kitchen scratching their beards while making orders which so disgusting hair could fall or bacteria transfer to food? What is this ?

One of the best places to eat a delicious hamburger, those guys really knows how to make professional food. There is parking nearby (paid of course), dining-in avaliable (spacious as well) . You can pay with card or cash. The staff are awsome Generally speaking...my favorite.

Girl on till was lovely .my order was correct BUT chicken burger was not cooked .complained guy came out said it was vein in chicken .clearly wasn't it was pink .offered another 1 but once my daughter saw pink chicken there was no way she would try another explained this to him he said ok &said sorry put pink chicken back on tray walked off .The end

I came at 3 20PM no people inside, ordered 1burger, they needed 50min to make it!!!!! 2 times asked "when I can get my order?" Answer soon. When I got it was cold.

Absolutely terrible food and customer service. Ordered burger meal the staff member at the till young Asian lad was very rude to me and the burger was burnt and the bun was even heated. The burger took 30 minutes to make. The fries were nice but how can you go wrong with fries. Young Asian lad has traumatised me and I will never be visiting mak halal again due to his poor customer service and low quality of food I wouldn’t even feed my dog.

I'm not being funny but I just spent £16 on a uber eats order and I'm throwing it back up in 2 hours and on the toilet. I'm leaving a review incase anyone elss experience this today. Westbrom one

MalHalal is Nice Food piont in Birmingham Food Quality is Good Taste is nice and Food Packing is very Nice and Inside Dining its art work is extractive.

The food can be nice but service is atrocious, extra wait time when you pre order and pick up. Staff at front are untrained, stand around when orders are ready, then remember to bring out only when you ask how long left Chef or kitchen staff don’t know how to read notes that are left online orders. It’s disappointing that the food can be nice but service is a let down.

Ordered delivery, they missed half my order, wont do anything about it They said theyd replace it but wouldnt offer delivery for the replacement so pretty much worthless since theres a reason I ordered delivery Food wasnt that bad but the chicken strips were dry and kinda tasteless burger was cold in the beef burger but warm with the chicken fillet so was inconsistent

I visited the store about a week ago and asked for my burger to have no salad, I was waiting for 20 mins which I didn't mind too much. However, I saw one of the workers at the back handling my food with bare hands. This was because he had forgotten to take the salad out of my burger, so the burger was given back to him to which with his bare hands, he took out the salad. Then another man said to him that the onions needed to be removed, so AGAIN my burger was given back and he took out the onions AGAIN with his bare hands, like what is honestly going on?? When the order was given to me finally, my fries were cold, and the only decent thing about my meal was the algerian sauce lol. Not impressed.

This service is completely awful. I have ordered Pizza meal deal and spent 15 pound for our dinner. But we got a small pizza, unsatisfactory fries, a tiny burger and a drink. This is completely unacceptable for the money I have spent for it.

This place is my go to everytime they have never let me down other then having cold fries once or twice but I don't live close so its understandable still a 5 star from me

Made us wait 50 mins for our order. I ordered online. When I went to collect at my allotted time, it wasn’t ready, they only just started making the order then when I asked them for my order. I’m the meantime, I saw them prepare and deliver orders to other customers who ordered after me in-person. So beware when ordering online from them. Ruined the experience of a treat meal.

Food is average and mediocre, nothing like what the reviews are stating below. Most likely, these reviews are from family and friends. AVOID spending your cash here.

Collection order over 30 mins late, moreso due to missing an item off my order. Manager asked to add a dessert to compensation, refused and countered with fries. I already ordered enough for all so declined. Poor service. Cont... Get to the car to find one fries missing, even though it had been there earlier. Bizarre attitude to customer service.. Will not return! Zero for service, food - could have done fresh fries at least after having to wait so long! Took away from the whole joy of a treat meal!

Firstly, I'll address the positive, and that is the quality of the food, which is decent. However, there are other things that let this joint down. I've been here a few times in the last few months. On one visit back in June, I ordered my food, and since I was going to take out, I obviously had to sit and wait. They were quite busy but I didn't mind as long as the food was good. Five minutes after ordering, I decided to amend my order. I went back to the lady at the till and asked her if I could change it. She told me she couldn't as it had been "Put on" (I'm paraphrasing). So I sat back down and continued to wait. Now, as I said, I don't mind waiting for good food, however, I was sitting around in total for 40 minutes! It was clear in all that time that my order actually hadn't been "Put on" and I was, in fact, just fobbed off. It's a sad state of affairs when people can't be bothered to do some work and will just lie to you. Not to mention waiting 40 minutes, which is not okay. On my second visit, because I believe in giving takeaways a second chance, I witnessed lettuce and cheese being handled with BARE hands. But if any of the other reviews are anything to go by, is there any point in mentioning this to managers who allegedly act ghetto? I wonder if the management is going to address the aforementioned issues. More importantly, I wonder if the original owners of Mak Halal, from Small Heath, are aware of the direction in which their name is heading.

Visited Saturday with my family been here a few times love it! Food is fresh and high quality (grilled menu and the smashed menu are my go 2s) place is always clean. Whenever I come staff on the front are so lovely and helpful the lady on the front knew the menu very well and as my son has allergies she made sure to double check everything that goes in it is always so professional not sure of her name but she has blonde hair the young man that was on tills with her was also very kind frappes are very delicious and the pizzas too will definitely be coming back again soon!

Food tastes great, but the size of the burgers is a joke for the price you pay. If you are an adult, you will need at least 2 to 3 burgers as a 1 person meal.

The service is a little bit slow for my liking. 20 % front of house staff have no experience in dealing with customer orders. Food in general tastes good, however I I would only recommend the beef range choices opposed to the chicken which tastes a bit cardboardish if you know what I mean. This food has to be eaten hot and right away and if left to condensate in containers on your journey home makes the cardboardish taste apparent. The place is basically McDonald's with a better variety of food choices and its halal, woohooo!! The owners seem to be lovely people and wish them all the best. I would rate this place 6/10 at best.

There is some drop in standard since I last went before the pandemic. Less options of food - essentially BBQ. Food is decent along with prices. We took family platter for 3 adults and 2 children which was a lot so took rest home

Being Londoners, we were pleased with how delicious the food here was. We've been twice now and tried many different items and everything has been delicious, defo recommend the chicken burgers, they're huge. Staff were very friendly and the place was clean too.

Diabolical service. Management so rude. Placed an order, told 10 minutes ended up waiting 25 minutes... when no order was forthcoming I checked to see how long and was told that they had given my order to another customer who had now leftand they were now waiting for it to be returned, that is disgusting!... instead of getting another order ready which I was still happy to wait for, the manager walked out as if he is some kind of tough cookie and said im not putting another burger on for you, and that I can either wait for the wrong order to be returned. At this point I demanded a refund. Absolutely pathetic rude and abnoxious individual. I told him its the fault of his lady staff member who was too engrossed in talking about her hair and makeup to a friend that my order went to the wrong person. No remorse at all, no apology just sheer arrogance. They are a failed company. Wouldn't recommend. Stay away... also keep an eye on through the serving window, the cooks are scratching there beard, stomachs with bear hands and touching the food - very filthy and unhygienic. Please don't believe me see and experience it for yourself. Trying to be a macho man is not a good sign off a businessman. They need to go back to school, get educated and learn some etiquettes.

Took the boys to this place after a talk in Birmingham (5miles away). They loved it. Very tasty. Lots of choice. Algerian dip is banging! Love the the buzzers to let yo know your food is ready.

Very very disappointed from mak halal Walsall I was very happy to see new HMC restaurant in Walsall today I ordered chicken pizza and grilled burgers but aftaar time when I saw the pizza it’s totally disgusting not properly cooked. I was shocked to see the size of large pizza in 10 pounds. Not recommend at all This restaurant should be closed

Upon arrival the establishment was nice, qiet and clean, we ordered straight away, me and my kids ordered different kind of burger meals, however when our meal was ready I was shocked at how my meal that cost over £6 was the size same as a kids meal? This made no sense at all, the patty was dry and I thought I’d try the Turkey rashers , they where the most disgusting thing I’ve eaten in along time , I don’t know if it was fat that’s added to the Turkey but it was stringy and I almost chocked!! however the customer service was good and friendly , unfortunately seems to have gone downhill,Won’t be returning any time soon.

So I went in on my lunch break with my friend ordered a Mak deal 1 and a burger meal the burger was delicious but I was so disappointed with the pizza got the Doritos it’s had no beef on there just Doritos and cheese like I had it on Monday evening and it was really nice but today I was very disappointed fix you guys your going down hill

Really good standard of halal burgers. They were reasonably priced until recently when the menu has indergone a huge price hike and their fries have changed, which are very obvious negatives. Aside from that, this place is always busy so people obviously like it.

First time ever went here, so I phone to place an order. They get it wrong. I re phone as the amount provided was less. Corrected . Ok then I go inside this store back and forth 3/4 times . Missing fries 1 order , missing pizza box , missing a burger too. As I didn’t know of their deal choice. So I return the whole order they recommended. Not even one hero said sorry , making me run laps like a dog. Ain’t coming again nightmare
