Lovely solo meal here. Incredible food & great staff.

Visited here for my birthday with some family & what a lovely place,definitely like to go again,would highly recommend.

Staff very attentive, I had a very tasty seafood platter washed down with a good old fashioned glass bottle of coke,

Amazing restaurant, staff were so friendly and helpful when choosing what to eat and even fit us in with five minutes before the kitchen shut. Food was absolutely delicious and well worth the price. Cocktails were very strong around £10-12 each. Atmosphere was cosy and intimate. Will definitely be returning to try more of the menu in the future!!

Had a lovely solo evening meal outside, and enjoyed the tapas and the (dry) glass of Prosecco— the latter a rare find in the uk where bars usually serve the cloying stuff. Absolutely delicious burrata, basil and tomato bruschetta, moreish and full of summery flavour, though richer than the usual bruschetta with the creamy burrata and generous olive oil (this was a win). The sweet potato, black bean and feta tacos were also delicious, and I appreciated the (again rare) use of corn tortillas, but they were a bit dry and need a bit of tang and juiciness (a bit of good pico de gallo salsa would solve this). Food is bordering on exceptional and with a bit more care and attention to flavor /texture balance this kitchen could achieve that. Friendly and attentive service. On a previous visit we had some cocktails and they were well made and tasty but a tad too expensive. Overall, I recommend for delicious and generous tapas and a good drink selection in Norwich.

We visited here two nights in a row during our stay in Norwich - the food was absolutely delicious and the staff lovely, welcoming and attentive. We wish we lived nearby and could visit regularly. The shrimp tacos are particularly good.

Bar manager needs some customer service training, he’s arrogant. Older gentleman was lovely.

I can recommend the "Penicillin " cocktail based around Laphroiag and fresh ginger.

We stopped here for a drink and a small selection of tapas. I ordered our food and paid, then we sat outside. The food was great, however the whole experience was ruined when we got chased down the street after we’d walked away being accused of not paying (by the waitress who I ordered and payed with!). The automatic assumption we haven’t paid and the lack of apology for this is not good enough. I can appreciate this can happen, but it was broached as 1) one you haven’t paid 2) it didn’t go through - all of which I instantly could disapprove through my Apple Pay.

Nice bar with outside seating. Good selection of cocktails but for £10-£12 I'd like less ice, more drink. We shared some tapas dishes which were nice but not especially memorable. The pork and chorizo skewers were tiny for the money and not very tasty. Service was attentive and friendly.

We had a lovely meal at Makers House, we shared four small plates with some sour dough bread between two. It was nicely presented and tasty. The team were very friendly almost too attentive but they looked after us well. My only reasons for removing a star is that a couple of our plates were taken too quickly we wanted to remaining sauces for our bread and the size of the tables, luckily we were sat on a table for four because it wouldn’t been a struggle to accommodate all of our plates.

We had a terrible experience at the jive kitchen / bar and left before we ate. So we wandered down the road to find somewhere else to eat. We just happened to chance across makers house. From walking in the door it was a brilliant experience. Friendly and attentive staff and the food was really great. This will be our go to when we are in the city. Thanks so much for turning our evening around.

What a fantastic place this is. From the moment you arrive you feel welcome and comfortable. The menu is excellent as is the wine list. Service could not be better and the food is simply delicious. The presentation is extremely professional and the quality of the cooking is exceptional. We started with perfectly seasons patatas bravas and octopus then went on to the seafood platter which comes with lovely bread. Everything was very, very good but for me the star of the show was the fish cake which was delicately flavoured pollock and almost as light as a mousse inside. Haven't a clue how the chef did it but it will be very hard to resist it on our next visit!! A heartfelt thanks to all at Maker's House for such an enjoyable evening.

Really lovely service, great food and nice atmosphere/location. Offers a variety of things which similar places don’t so it’s a bit different from the usual lunch/brunch places in Norwich. Def recommend!
