Food was great, I wasn't aware that they only take cash, so I had to go to a cashpoint

We have used these for 20 years and food and delivery was awesome. Last 2 orders have been stupidly late and the food is no where near as good as it used to be. Don't think we'll be using them again

Chicken curry great big blocks of chicken that were tough and tasted weird. Wouldn't buy chicken curry from there again.

Been ordering for several weeks. Excellent beautiful food everything. I was charged an extra £2 tonight for a pinch of chilli powder. That was part of the delivery man's tip! Explain? The chilli powder was not cooked in from the start and was added later, as you could see it around the lid of the container. I took a photo to prove it!! Me and my brother could not finish it as it was extremely hot not slightly!!

Loved the food 10/10 NOT OPEN ON MONDAYS AT ALL

We had Salt & Pepper King Prawns and Beef in black bean sauce, and it was spot on 👍

The worst food I have had from any Chinese takeaway. It was horrible. The house special curry looked like diarrhoea with bits of chicken, sprinkled sparsely with shrimp and strips of cheap sausage. No pork , no duck , no prawn. About 5 seeds of green peas and chunks of onions. The so called fried rice was old cold white rice mixed with dark soy and msg. Now the soy sauce was not even properly mixed in . I had to force myself as I was very hungry. I only went there because orchid was closed today and that’s where I normally get my takeaway. I had a bad feeling about the place but did not listen. Never again

I don't know why we keep going back! They used to be so good but the food has just gone downhill... it's never fresh, it tastes like it's it's been reheated or reboiled. Seems like they just don't care anymore as they know people like me will keep coming back!!! Recommendations welcome for a better Chinese in the area??

Absolutely shocking took well over an hour when was told 30 mins delivery time then after ringing up lady on other end of phone was clueless don't waste your time with these. Used to be a great place absolutely appalling now.

Without a doubt the most bland food I've ever had. Chow mein and black bean sauce dish were terrible. Both tasteless and with this awful smell that came with it. Much the same as other reviews on here. Will not be using again that's for sure.

We used to live in Midland Road and this was our go to and we moved to Selly oak and then to kings Norton and always bought from here. We recently ordered and told fiends how amazing it was and wow I have no idea what has changed but it has gone downhill in a very big way. The chips were always amazing and are no longer in fact oven chips from Aldi ar better! We used to always have pork yuk sung! Not only was it inedible, the smell from the yuk sung made all of us feel nauseous! My friend had baby spring rolls - soft and greasy and basically tasteless! I have no idea whether it is a new owner or it’s the cost of living crisis but as much as I hate to say it we will use the orchid next door from now on.

The BBQ ribs and the BBQ sauce.. it's just amazing every bite just get better and better and when you dunk the chips in the sauce, amazing I recommend this place to all my friends as the food is delicious

Bougjy some salt chilli ribs £6.90 amd a curry sauce rice and chips ribs smelt awful like a cheesey odour smelt out house didn't look fresh was far from salt and chilli ribs I'm used to looked like been reheated and rubbery didn't dare try eat any with the smell of them like a stale cheese sauce. The curry sauce rice and chips chips wasn't fresh ans rice was hard sauce greasy wjat a waste of money would have took them back if had time what a disappointment 😑

Avoid, they advertise that they are open until 11pm yet when you go there it is shut before then and shutters are down. Prices have shot up and quality has gone down. Owners have given up as they know the regulars will return regardless

Best Chinese around just had beef and chicken curry, singapore fried rice and chips, I asked for the curry sauce to be extra spicy and it was absolutely lovely.

Never had a bad meal from here. Service fantastic.

Hadn't been here for years as I totally forgot it existed to be honest as it's out the way. I really enjoyed the beef curry and fried rice a really nice curry. Chips are lovely too. The beef is really good quality so much better than other local restaurants and the late night opening is great as most others close too early! Thanks guys Ordered another tonight. Delivery . It was quick and I thought I'd try the ribs as I'm usually reluctant with ribs as alot of restaurants do the brown yukky ones. How chuft was I when I opened and saw the most perfect red ribs in yummy red bbq sause. .Totally the best ribs I've ever had.. You're now my favourite guys 🙊🙊🙊🙊 Photos added of their gorgeous food!

Fast friendly service and great food

Excellent local Chinese is cotteridge. Very cheap and open most of the time. But good food, no think and gloopy sauces here, and all meet tastes real and relatively fresh.

The curry is to hot not tried anything like it it's funny chicken tastes like cat never eat from here again

Great menu choice and very fast and friendly service. Rice, chips and curry sauce also has to be the best go to for some carb loading after a few too many drinks.

On the whole, delicious food. Almost as authentic as home cooking. Only negative is that the meat is too chunky in some dishes. Chow mein is traditionally a chopstick dish and you end up having to get a fork and knife to cut the meat down first

Lovely delivery man - always super friendly. I've always liked Majestic House but I think the quality and flavours are starting to go downhill. Whilst most was good, one of our dishes tonight smelt burnt and tasted revolting.

Best Chinese takeaway around here. Great food, quick service. Thoroughly recommended.
