The staff are so rude , i literally just went in and the woman on shift had no patience whatsoever. Her customer service was terrible and she tried to over charge me for a product I purchased last week . I paid £8.50 for the Dubai covered strawberries and today she is telling me is £9.50 without any explanation whatsoever for the price increase . The menu doesn’t say anything and when asked she was inpatient. The food itself is alright but I wouldn’t recommend because of the service and the attitude from staff . Learn to treat your paying customers right .

Waited ten minutes in the queue, not acknowledged by staff even to say we won't be long or hello. Eventually just left which was really annoying. Took our custom elsewhere.

Staff haven’t got a clue. Desserts and drinks look nothing like the photos. Once our drinks were made they sat behind the counter for 5 minutes whilst the girls were on their phones

Second time at Little Dessert Shop and I have found my perfect dessert; their strawberry sensation waffle is the best waffle I’ve had to date! The waffle batter isn’t sweet so you can keep eating without it getting sickly. The strawberries were fresh and firm and paired perfectly with the chocolate sauce drizzled on top. The sauce was just the right amount and didn’t overpower the waffle flavour. And to top it all off, the subtle tartness of the raspberry syrup added a tangy undertone and elevated the dessert to another level. Would highly recommend! Additionally, their chocolate brownie is soft and fudgy and pairs well with their vanilla and cookies and cream ice-cream. However, their chocolate slabs are bland and dry- definitely needs a recipe change… Regardless I’m looking forward to coming back to try their other waffle varieties and their milkshake selections. - P.R

Customer service was the worst I’ve ever experienced! Ordered our food around 8:30, after asking where our order was we got served it at 9:05. We got asked to leave cuz they were shutting, which is fine but we had planned to eat in, loads of people still there also eating in yet we were the only ones asked to leave. The attitude the woman gave us was atrocious and disgusting. The couple next to us waited nearly 40 minutes for a waffle and some ice cream. Our pancakes and chocolate pots were also served cold. Don’t bother spending your money with them. The comment of the woman working there was “it’s not my fault I can’t control the time” but she could control her attitude and manners

Cakes are ok, but ice cream isn’t great quality and milkshakes are 90% milk. Milkshakes should be thick with ice cream - almost no ice cream! Very disappointed

terrible customer service, and why say opens at 11am when it doesn't

I've been here few days ago, and while the treats were good, the overall experience left something to be desired. The cookie explosion waffle was really good —rich, indulgent, and super sweet. The pistachio cheesecake was okay, probably I was expecting something more just because of the hype. The hot drinks were a letdown as they were not served hot enough. What surprised me most was the slow service, especially since the shop wasn't busy at the time. Despite the lack of a crowd, it took quite a while for our order to be prepared and served. This detracted from an otherwise enjoyable visit.

Service was awful! Ordered a waffle, two cookie dough’s, a cheesecake and two tea's. Waffle came out after 10 minutes, cookie dough’s came out another 5 minutes later. Tea’s didn’t arrive for another 15 minutes, teabags in a tea cup which was fine, but I asked for a teaspoon to take the teabag out with, and was told ‘we don’t have them’ so had to use my fork to stir my tea! and had to ask for the cheesecake, which didn’t arrive. Service was extremely slow, and the desserts were nothing special.

Absolutely awful service. Had my dessert practically thrown on the table with a spoon flung at me, after waiting a ridiculous amount of time for a ready made cake, during quiet hours. Cake wasn't even good...

Yesterday I visited this place.. I gave my regular order of chocoholic dream waffle but I come to know that it’s not in the menu anymore. I was disappointed but the lady at the till said that she will made for me.. it was the best waffle I ever had. It was just perfect. I love it ❤️ I wanna thank that lady.♥️

Very quiet in here for a Sunday afternoon but my youngest daughter saw the ice cream and wanted one. Lovely lady served us. Very friendly. As it was so quiet, didn't have much of an atmosphere. Ice cream was nice and my daughter loved the sprinkles. Would be good to have a better selection of soft drinks and have them in plastic bottles rather than glass. Not somewhere I would rush back to but a nice place to stop if you fancy something sweet.

Ordered a mojito literally nothing like the picture no fruit inside it no ice no mint and no straw and no fork and I couldn’t even eat it because I was at the hospital so there was no straw or fork there

Ordered Hot chcolate and it tasted amazing compared to other costa stores I've had. Service was okay but it was too busy and rather loud. Couldn't really hear the workers properly when trying to place an order. No proper layout so couldn't find the actual/front of queue.

I’ve asked for a Turkish Delight Hot Chocolate and the cashier could not understand. I pointed at the menu and she still brought a regular hot chocolate. I don’t have a problem with staff not speaking English as long as they can get the job done, however this was not the case on this occasion

Ordered the heavenly fantasy waffles as I like Fererro Rocher. It was presented neatly but when I tasted the small semi sphere they place on top of each quarter of the waffles, it tasted nothing like Fererro Rocher. I asked the one who served me to check with the kitchen if this is actually Fererro. She took my plate went inside came out giggling and asked me if I need an extra topping like Kinder Beuno. I repeated my question to her if it was actually fererro. More giggles and she responded, “ My manager said it taste like Fererro”. I asked if I can get a refund. I got it and left. Fererro is one of the key things they have highlighted throughout their menu and they are not even using it. Is this not fraud?

The desserts are nice but are more style then anything else.

Me and my friend visited today, ordered a cookie dough and a smoothie. Well she had the cookie dough said it was very good but my smoothie rather was an ice slushie than a smoothie. It says with strawberry and cranberry. Unfortunately all it was crushed ice and syrup tons of syrup..... I didn't take it back to complain as we didn't have time for it needed to catch a train. The staff was nice, service was good , the furnitures all were damaged so the menu. So very disappointed with the smoothie, I cannot have artificial things due to tummy issues that is why I went for smoothie only with fruits 🤷 never mind.

Having a background in hospitality I usually cut a little slack, but the service was absolutely terrible. None of them wanted to speak to anyone at the till. The people in front of us left and I almost assumed the place was closing. When we were served the girls responses were curt. It was clear they wanted to serve us quickly with as little interaction as possible. Both of us asked the girl if our drinks were available and she said yes just to hurry through the transaction. We later found out neither of them were available. Usually this wouldn't be a problem, but considering she was rude, we had both asked in advance, and they didn't have the foresight to check before taking our payment, I was really annoyed by this. My dessert looked thrown together in a plastic cup and tasted even worse than it looked. Will not be coming here again and I would advice others to give this one a miss.

nice menu, i liked the chocolate dips and strawberries as i’m gluten intolerant! i wanted the spanish latte, which they didn’t have. the ladies looked burnt out and overworked, which made me sad!

Wish we hadn't bothered... the smores sundae came in a plastic drinks cup, and my crepe was burnt in places. Many of the tables still had diry plates and empty drinks cups on. The menus have seen better days, the pages are peeling and the books falling apart. The two servers were constantly serving and unable to clear up.

Do not bother spending money here. We went to the shop and we weren't sure whether they were going to take us to a table but had to take ourselves. I ordered the s'mores sundae which contained lotus biscoff, banana, toasted marshmallows , salted caramel ice cream and vanilla ice cream; out of all that we got the banana the 2 ice creams and some marshmallows but they weren't toasted. It showed it would be served in a glass but it was served in a plastic cup. WHO SELLS A SUNDAE IN A PLASTI CUP? When raised with the staff member said glasses for sundaes were only for pics (false advertising 🙄) 🙄. From a sanitary perspective there was rubbish and used dishes still left out and while waitress walked past they didn't bother picking anything up.When we asked for water they said they don't have any eventhough they serve soft drinks and coffee. Do not go there 😑😑😑😑.

Was 30 mins late after ETA, when i only ordered 2 drinks . Mocktail was made 10 mins after the milkshake when the worker who was supposed do it said she didn’t know what to do. Really slow service and no communication and very unwelcoming

The dark skin waiter was very rude to me about what there closing in 45 minutes and how she’s gonna kick us out aflame customers who come at this this are annoying but why u mad about ur job it’s ur job 😂😂😂😂

They don’t give you tap water no matter what you order. Also desserts passable.

Wrong order , cold food, is a mess

My friend was vaping but he had his headphones in so he didn’t know they already told them to stop so he carried on and we stopped when she came again to the table we stopped however she called security and we said we stopped and the security asked is it okay if we stay and the 2 rude staff said no and I eat here all the time never coming back again

First time here, the service was rubbish, noone at the til, the staff had disappeared around the back for ages, customers waiting to be served. All the tables were dirty and not cleaned. My crepe arrived and it was missing my gelato so had to ask for it. It was probaly the worst crepe I have ever had, no flavour almost bitter and off , just a weird taste so didn't enjoy it at all. Will not be back here again.

Ordered a pistachio milk cake, my unicorn milkshake, double chocolate cookie dough, mini eggs cookie dough and a 50/50 waffle Was alittle disappointed with the mini egg cookie dough, I was assuming it was going to have a little twist the way it would be made, but unfortunately it was just a normal cookie dough with 5 little mini eggs placed on top of it, my bad really as should have read the description. Anyways the milkshake tasted lovely and the waffle was definitely scrumptious.👌💯🔥🔥🔥 but the pistachio milk cake tasted abit average.

I wish I could give 0 stars! Spent £20 today on a treat for my child that’s been in hospital all week nil by mouth. Waited 1.5 hours and apparently the food was delivered but it wasn’t! Food never arrived and they won’t answer the phone!!

If I could rate this place a 0 then I would. From the time we entered most of the tables had dirty plates from previous customers. We walked over to the till and grabbed a menu and sat on a table with spilled ice cream on but it was the best out of the bunch. Straight after paying I asked if I could swap a flavoured ice cream scoop to another flavour to which I was told I had to pay extra £2.50 for another scoop but not get the extra scoop that I’m paying for but just swap the scoop. Please bare in mind a scoop alone costs 2.25 to begin with I was told all of this was because of a rule they had. I orderd one 50/50 waffle. A raspberry and white chocolate and the order side a kinder hippo and kinder sauce. The first half came with strawberries instead of raspberries and when I asked the lady who brought it over why it was like this she said the lady at the till should have told me. The second half came with the hippo and after the first bite you could tell it was stale and been sat out of the pack for quiet sometime. I also orderd a white hot chocolate which is just common sense will come out milky and white but instead I was given a normal hot chocolate which was boiling hot, after trying it to confirm it wasn’t a white hot chocolate and burning my tounge I asked the same lady at the till for some tap water to which I was told that’s not possible and that I had to pay for bottled water. Funny enough someone sat next to us had a cup of tap water and when I pointed that out to the lady she said that that person was homeless and I wasn’t allowed one. Absolutely disgusting and I’m very disappointed with this experience as I wasn’t expecting for such small requests to be impossible.

We visited the place 45mins before the closing time and we were told by a staff named Lucinda that the place will be closed in 15mins and it would be only take out. We agreed thinking that we can may be use another space in the grand central to sit and eat. We were four friends and we don’t live together to take the dessert home and eat together as we were celebrating something. We were given our food all closed and packed in one bag with no labels and when we asked what is in each box, the staff checked all boxes by opening them from sides. That was also ok but it was really annoying that we were not given any cutlery to eat and we were told that they had ran out of disposable cutlery since two days so didn’t had anything other than plastic knife and the waitress even made fun of us while asking if we would like the disposable knives. Later the other waitress gave us some spoons to bin after using. We then took our desserts and walked to the other end of grand central to find a place to sit and eat while they were little warm and the ice creams had not melted. We will never visit this place again- very rude and inconsiderate staff!!

Please don't go to this place. They have the worst customer service ever, and their manager should not be a manager at all. I ordered a Crepe and a Mint tea, which I paid in advance. I was attended by Kamran on the till, they brought me something else with some kind of syrup sugary on it, it was obvious it wasn't a mint tea also it was completely different from the one in the menu (see pictures), when I asked the waitress about it, she say it was mint tea, which I was sure it wasnt due I was not happy with my order and they did not offer another solution I requested to be refunded so they went to speak with their manager by the phone and when the waitress came back said "my manager says we don't do refund just because you don't like the flavour" I was shocked I could not believe what I was hearing, I had a discussion with them but they where just repeating one another one their manager's instructions. I just wanted to run away from that horrible place and never come back, I felt judged and unheard and treated very badly. At the end, one of the waitress said if you want to complain, you may write to the manager, and she brought their's manager email address in a paper as you can see in the photo.

I bought a Groupon voucher, made the reservation and then made a special trip to this place and they refused to accept the Groupon and were quite rude. It's such a shame as I've been to their other branches and like their stuff

Went here (Birmingham bullring) with my son to use his desert voucher of groupon to be told cant use it there even though I had proof on my phone, she was very rude to us, awful place but glad we didn't as she was coughing and didn't put her hand by her mouth very unhygienic place and miserable woman one in Solihull is lovely though friendly

Nice venue only word of wisdom is to pass on PR advertisements to staff. As it's then difficult. Not the warmest atmosphere to be honest. Decided to take dessert home instead to eat in unclean seating. For Valentine's no form of decoration was a cop out.

When I first came in the tables were misaligned so i had to fix them, however this wasn't the main issue. I ordered a regular majito and a crepe. The majito was very disappointing, it did not come as advertised and instead was just a cup of fizzy water with some cheap lime syrup. Did not taste nice, by far the worst majito I've had. The crepe was mediocre and had a rubbery texture and the strawberries tasted off. On top of that, some of us had to pay with card because there was no change avaliable to give, which caused inconvenience for those of us who wanted to pay with cash. Overall a poor experience but the atmosphere was okay, not too loud. I doubt I will be coming back

If I could give 0 stars I would. Disinterested woman serving me, asked her at the till about the hot chocolates and she ignored me 3 times as she was too busy chatting to her friend at the till. She didn’t seem to want to serve me. I paid extra for a Nutella hot chocolate but they gave me a standard hot chocolate despite paying extra. The woman was very uninterested, why work here if you’re not going to do your job properly? Absolutely pathetic and the tables and floor were filled with litter. Avoid unless you want this kind of reception and service.

Awful place. The menus were dirty and they use old or fake chocolate in their milkshakes. We tried their milkshake and complained the chocolate in it tasted old/stale. The server replied the manager said they can’t do anything as we drank it… we took a few sips. Please tell me how we are meant to know what it tastes like without taking a sip. They had the audacity to say we drank a lot when in reality it was a sip and the whipped cream deflated. Tasted awful and so did their hot chocolate. Would never go again.

Lovely dessert place located in a very convenient location with A fine range of selection of choices. You will be able to find one of your favourite here. Come and check out !!!! Reasonably priced and served beautifully. It’s not so much of a private place and The table arrangement could be better.

The food was OK not the best. The tables were not clean and the staff made no real effort to clean up after anyone finished the dessert and left. The whole place needs to be shut down due to the lack of cleanliness. Staff are not the friendliest. Would avoid this place in future. There are other dessert places near by that I would now go to.

Visited here with hubby and my children few days ago, and it was extremely busy. But i have to say the service was brilliant, Alina and Gohar were so friendly and went above and beyond to keep us happy, and to ensure we had a positive experience...thank you both, you are both a credit to the little dessert shop! Everything we ordered was delicious (had the afternoon tea which includes sandwiches, pancakes, waffles, ice cream and teas and coffees). Thank you again 😊

Can’t beat Heavenly Dessert shop sorry. Your wafer needs lots more to improve. Also we need to clean up the dirty table ourselves in order to sit in. Many empty tables but no one cares to take away the leftovers food and trash.

We booked an afternoon tea for 4 people on Groupon. However it was a disappointing. The stack had sandwiches that were all had cheese. There was a total of 9 sandwiches. Expected a lot more. It had pancakes with berry’s and the last tear had waffles. Served with ice cream. Ice cream was delicious. But afternoon tea wasn’t served as professional as expected. It didn’t meet the basic standards of an afternoon tea.

food is unbelievebly mid hot chocolate tastes like its made from water its definately not worth the price service is horrible - they take for ever to do the smallest things (once i waited 15 minutes for 2 scoops of icecream and the shop wasnt even busy).

We had the most delicious afternoon tea. Our waitress Gabby was so lovely and helpful. We came for a birthday treat and they wrote a special message in chocolate sauce for him. Definitely recommend 😋

I absolutely recommend the Link Street branch for a sit down & a bit of cake mid Christmas shop! Hung out there today with Hubby, each of us having a slice of choccy cake & a brew. The atmosphere was lively being on a thoroughfare between shopping centres. The cake was chocolatey, warm, & gooey. The tea was hot & strong served with plenty of milk. The staff were lovely & friendly, & clearly hardworking given how busy the place was with only 4 staff. The service was fast & the tables spotless. It did feel a bit overpriced BUT what doesn't these days! Tbh, it was worth that little bit extra just to sit down in the warm on such a cold day.

This little dessert shop, is a fantastic little stopping gap for those of us with a sweet tooth and want something vegan. I will certainly come back for my vegan sweet fix!

I have came here today with my friend after a few years of not visiting. We used to visit often and was a regular place for us to go, now it’s completely different to the fond memories we had. The waitress was unbothered and rude, slamming our plates down in front of us, and there was a gap in wait for our individual plates, plus we didn’t receive one drink till after we started eating our food, which I had to remind her I ordered. The food was okay, my waffle was lovely but it was cold. The atmosphere was uncomfortable as there were people sitting in having not ordered food, while sitting there vaping and being loud. Not once did the staff tell them to leave. This isn’t the place I remember and won’t be coming back.

Awful service! 3 people drifting around apparently working but ignoring customers. As a wheelchair user I had to try and stand up to get their attention. Had cheesecake. I think it was made last week as it was so stale. AVOID BIRMINGHAM BRANCH!

Not the quickest service and almost seemed like we were putting them out by ordering. But the food looked great and even though the coffee was more warm than hot it tasted fine, if maybe it was weaker than preferred. But it was "Ok"

Went for first time after visiting Birmingham for a day, won’t be returning. The place was dead, not a soul around maybe 1 or 2 customers, they are too busy cleaning rather than taking orders, we stood there for 15 minutes before they seen us, Ice cream was melted and the shake tasted like dirty mixed in a blender, the sofas were so filthy, over all this place needs reporting to food standards agency…..cause it will be shut down.

Absolutely lovely little place - "Little Dessert Shop"; inside the Grand Central, its near the link passage, coming from the Bull statue side. Place was clean with booths, table & chairs. A delightful staff member Gabby was very helpful, explaining the crepé desserts and the many many choices of ice-creams and extras you can have. My first time having a crepé dessert and it was delicious; would definitely recommend. Competitively price, we will defo visit again. Thank you

Don't waste your money. Ice-cream half melted given to my daughter in a cone. Staff look depressed, all display cabinets look dirty. Just doesn't have a clean feel or atmosphere

I asked for a nutella bueno waffle and i got a white choc waffle NOT WHAT I WANTED! Did not get offered anything after our complaint only a ‘i am not the owner of this place’ awful service. RUDE youngsters who are only here for a wage at the end of the month and dont even know whats on the menu. PROTEST! So bad

I recently had an experience at Little Desserts that I found really disappointing. The waitstaff were quite rude and their behavior left a lot to be desired. This made the entire visit uncomfortable and unwelcoming. Adding to my disappointment, the desserts themselves were not up to the mark. They didn't taste as good as I expected, and the flavors were quite off. It's disheartening when a dessert place doesn't deliver on the most important aspect of their business. I came with high hopes, given the name of the place, but unfortunately, my experience didn't live up to my expectations. I hope Little Desserts takes this feedback seriously and makes improvements to both their customer service and the quality of their desserts. Rating: 1 out of 5 stars (and that's being generous).

This is mainly for the concrete cake and custard ordered on ubereats. It tasted a bit stale and there wasn’t enough custard. The other items might be fine.

Avoid if gluten free!! Very falsely advertised on the front of their store as “gluten free options”, went and asked at the counter and rudely got told they had nothing gluten free, i’m used to not being able to find anything unfortunately but when the store falsely advertises it’s even more fustrating

To cut a long, inconvenient story short.....We ordered shake and ice-cream and got overcharged, even though the till assistant was adamant I hadn't been. Got home and checked the bank account to see that I'd been charged for ice-cream twice. Not worth the effort of trying to get reimbursed, but check what you're being charged for before you pay as they don't show you the card screen and always get a receipt from this place!

I ordered 1 Oreo Milkshake and 2 Strawberry waffles (as you can see in the photo). The waffle includes a scoop of vanilla ice cream. I asked to be upgraded to a scoop of chocolate ice cream and was charged £2.25. It seems to me a real robbery to charge that for a change of flavor. I'm not going back to be fooled again.

We ordered cookie dough, it can be better. Even the quantity is also very low for the price.The cutlery wasn’t cleaned properly tho.
