The black-haired employee is rude, I told her ( Excuse me give me ketchup ) then she said to me (say please) I said what? Then she said it again (Say please) She said it in a disrespectful way + the taste of the fries is old I like only the fish.

First time in Manchester for a concert at the new Co-op live, went into Maine road chippy and met the owner, what a lovely guy and an awesome place, great food and great hospitality

Never open when it’s supposed to be, managed to find it open once and the food was great if a little expensive. Tried to go back loads of times but it’s always closed. Even when the door was open and people were there, they said we are closed. Just can’t work it out. Maybe they only open on match days.

I loved the place!! The owner is really nice 😊. Place was clean.

It’s really nice to have a chance to try the fish and chips there for once. Tons of options to choose from and there’s at least something for everyone to enjoy.

Very fair fish & chips (lots of potatoes and little fish), they didn't have the drinks we had ordered and already paid for, lackluster service... but I also suppose they were already tired after a day of serving a lot of people after a City game

Love the food, have done for years but they are starting to take the piss. Mega Inflated matchday prices and at the weekend the meat pies were evidently party ones as they were tiny ! Ripping off the working class has become the norm!

Smallest £3.50 portion of chips I've ever seen. Tasted ok though.

the service was great. i visited here after a concert at the Etihad Stadium in June. the prices were so exorbitant. i don't remember exactly but one bottle of water (330 ml) cost around £2.5. the fries were greasy and tasted just okay. there is no other scenario when I would visit here if not after a concert or a football match at Etihad. there are benches outside to sit and we found them really helpful after standing for more than 6 hours.

The Irish curry and chips are absolutely delicious. Chips are proper thick and filling which is quite rare these days. The Irish curry has a lovely flavour. My only wish is that they served the take out to eat now meals in bigger trays as the ones they use are more like burger trays than a nice longish chippy tray.

Everytime I've been for the football,the chips are delicious. But I came down today for the Man city womens game v Sunderland , And 11:52 am,and you were closed?so do you not open on a Sunday? Either way it's a 5 start review.

Staff are really friendly, the fish and chips are very nice. I recommend the Chinese style curry sauce as well.

Never answer phone for delivery. Says its open but never answers been ringing last week everytime it says open but no answer .one day I rang 10 times no answer .

We had gone there right before the match and got confused with another chippy restaurant which is a 100 ft. away. Extremely disappointed and worst experience of fish and chips..the fish was extremely crispy and battered and chips were cold, not crispy and really thick ones.

Chippy tea before the big game is always a must.

Was near the Etihad and I couldn't resist the smell, they have the best and biggest fish I've had since I was a kid in Brighton! The staff are super friendly and the prices are on point, I would highly recommend this place to anyone who likes a proper fish and chips.

My wife and I work nights, this is the best place to go in the morning when you've done 3 nights you're exhausted and you want good food that isn't your usual breakfast stuff. Sal even said if we give him a shout he'd get the fryers on early for us. Thats the service, the food 👌🏻. Everythings branded from the sausages, to the rolly polly. Today I asked to swap out a couple of elements of my breakfast and I was legitimately probably given more than I would have had. My wife ordered a burger and it was thick! Three bacon in there, salad, cheese. Held together really well and just looked amazing! Best cafe food we've found in Manchester. Thank you for making the end of our working week something to look forward too!

Maine Road Cafe is Number One of its Kind. Best Fish and Chips, Burgers and my favorite Battered Sausage wiv Chinesse-Enlgish Curry Sauce or Gravy beets down anywhere else in Manchester. I heard there is new fitures coming such as many types of Pizzas and Spicy Wings. I cant wait to Try one of these. If you enywere aound Etihad Stadium and You starving I highly recommend Maine Road Cafe as The best food served by best Chefs!!!!!

Fast service food fresh and delicious,great banter with the staff and very good prices,a must for any football fan on match day,p.s try the fish there lovely!
