It's a relaxed place to spend a fun time with friends and family. I liked the variety of beers and cocktails, and the snacks tasted great. I want to come back someday when there's live music or to watch a rugby match on TV. There might be a fun atmosphere.

Recently visited the pub for a few drinks, the service was great on the night and they even went the extra mile to help me get my bag back after I stupidly left it. Extra thanks to the manager, Michael, who was a massive help! If you're ever in Northampton, I would definitely recommend giving this place a try!

Had a delightful pre-theatre meal here yesterday ( very handy for the Royal & Derngate) We both had the vegan burger with fries and I also tried Guinness 0.0 which was surprisingly tasty too

We had a great experience on Friday night before heading over to the theatre. Abi was especially attentive and provided fantastic service as always. Both food and drink is very reasonably priced and great quality, we will certainly be booking again for the next time we go to a show!

I came here with my auntie for bottomless brunch and had the pleasure of daisy being our server she was absolutely amazing exactly what we needed and not a single fault with service from her. We had the pleasure of meeting her family who were just as fun as her, had a great laugh and daisy was brilliant.

Good food, mainly pizza and burgers. Service is also good, enjoyed our evening out with friends.

Great pub in the heart of town. Good service, good food, good range of drinks, and nice atmosphere. What more do you need!

Went to Northampton for birthday weekend. Ending up here for a few games of pool on a Friday night after a meal elsewhere. Stayed till closing and enjoyed the place. Came back the next evening for a few more games, ended up having dinner. Was planning to go out after but again ended up staying. Great atmosphere, even better staff.

Bottomless brunch was FAB! Drinks flowing and not watered down like other places. Food was kinda average but not bad overall. Staff super friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Definitely would go again.

An excellent pub with a fantastic range of IPAs and a cute little beer garden.

Went for a pub quiz with Mrs had such a good laugh. Although very unsuccessfull on the quiz the place was very much welcoming

A group of 8, ordered food, not impressed. Don't expect anything like the pictures. Not a sign of any reds (e.g. salsa) or greens (cucumber) was offered ketchup with over cooked food.

Hired an area for a gathering and pre ordered the buffet menu. The staff were all super helpful and accommodating throughout. They helped connect my laptop to the projector which we were able to use for the evening. The food was also great!

Visited today with a friend for the bottomless brunch, it was amazing and will definitely go back. Lots of food to choose from on the menu as well as lots of cocktails, pints and all the main spirits if you didn't want cocktails. Well worth the money, the staff were great, really friendly and helpful and we had a great time, highly recommend!

Spent a very pleasant afternoon in here, the food was ok, nothing outstanding. The atmosphere was lovely, very chilled vibe. The bar staff were very polite and efficient. We will be back.

Attended for a Bruch were informed before hand work in kitchen meant no fried or over items. Was not an issue. Food was limited but good and drinks lovely.

A nice place with a cool garden/ courtyard area.

We went in for a quick lunch today and although there was a limited menu due to work being carried out in the kitchen. There was still quite a varied pizza menu. The pizza we had was delicious, so would definitely recommend.

Matt from behind the bar was amazing, absolutely ran off his feet but made sure everyone was catered for. Food was good, only ordered a pizza but was really tasty, would definitely come her again

Went here for bottomless brunch and was not left disappointed Unlimited pints and chicken wings for 2 whole hours 💯 food was great, came out very quickly ! Steph served our every need and was so nice and helpful always ready for my next order of wings - awesome service from her !!!

Steph was amazing all the way throughout, very polite, attentive and lovely! Felt extremely welcomed ever since we stepped in. Amazing service and delicious food, wings were fresh and tasty. We will definitely be coming back!! ☺️

Four of us had lunch there. The menu is somewhat limited; mostly pizzas and burgers. Fish and chips wasn't available for want of fish. Starters came after about an hour. I skipped these, so can't comment. Mains arrived after 90 minutes. I had chosen an avocado salad with chicken strips. The avocado comprised a few naked slices; the chicken was a flat, pallid, dry breast, partially sliced, perhaps a tribute to Northampton's shoe-making history, but barely edible. I asked for a dressing, and the waitress listlessly waved towards the one litre bottles of tomato sauce and salad cream on the table. Our host's burger was similar in texture. He wasn't inclined to complain loudly, and to be fair, the bar voluntarily waived the cost of the starters, because of the slow service.

Fabulous bottomless brunch and Matt was a fantastic host very attentive and good fun. Would throughly recommend

Ordered a vegan burger. No further communication from staff until a vegetarian burger was brought out. I pointed out that I had ordered a vegan burger and the male staff member's response was, "this is all we have". Very poor attitude and terrible communication. Fortunately, I am not vegan and it was a nice burger, although I would have liked more than 10 chips for the £30 I paid! The female staff were helpful. Edit: don't be confused. I think it was called a bottomless brunch and this was part of the menu. I wasn't drinking so, I remember it well!

Nice atmosphear, but disappointed that our family group were all denied any alcohol as my 20 year old son had forgotten his ID, fair enough but they wouldn't let any of our 50years+ family with ID have alcohol either.!!

Bar staff were lovely and welcoming. It was a very festive time.

Great place to watch live sport, especially rugby and put on games when requested, great service and friendly staff always make you feel welcomed.

So we had a bottomless brunch and we were the loudest most demanding giggle queens in the house.Steph made our night. She was the hostess with the mostest!

We came for the bottomless supper club and had a great time! Very quickly seated and given drinks and food. Alanis was serving us and was very attentive, checking very often if we needed drinks top ups. Manager was great too checking if we were cold as we were sat by the door. Very friendly service!

We had Alanis as our server for bottomless superand we couldn't have wished for a better server. She was so bubbly and really made our evening. Thank you so much for a great evening!

Second time I've been for bottomless brunch here and both times it was fantastic. The choice of food and drinks were great, and the best service I've had for a bottomless brunch. Shoutout to Matt and Summer who were amazing, always making sure we had what we needed and went above and beyond!

Had a great night out at the Mail Coach with a work function. The food looked amazing and they were good providing Vegan pizzas for the party. Plus other goodies for the carnivores. All in all a good night was had by all.

We went for a lunch the staff were great Matt served us. He was chatty, polite and quick to serve us when we were ready. Had some tapas dishes and chicken with bacon and cheese it was all very good. Great bar food with a couple of drinks.

Beer and service was great, but the croquette-like starters were so overdone to the point that the cheese had entirely charred itself to the batter, essentially leaving a stick of recently fossilized chicken preserved in a carapace of carbonized breadcrumbs. Go for drinks, not food.

No food. It was a nice end to the curry night having a pint (non alcoholic for me) to finish!

Friend and I arrived on a weekday night for a bit of food and chatter. There was an evening offer of a drink and a proper(!) burger.The manager explained to me about the offers and the allergy's in my food. He was great! Burger was soooooo good. Plus the gf bun was really good not crumbly or flaky. Such a chill atmosphere

My first visit to the mail coach stopped off there for a bite to eat before we went to a gig food was excellent and very quick the young lady that served us was very helpful giving us directions as we didn't know our way around northampton

Summer is a bloody legend, provided the marndem with a fan in the middle of a heatwave, proper customer service. Enjoyed a great couple conversations with Bobby Foster and Albert Fish. I heard my pals Sefth, Oslo, Grant and Mrs Boyd had a great time on the pool too. A Right Fellers, A Right. Give Summer a payrise #Goat

Amazing service! Matt is honestly an absolute credit! Went above and beyond service was incredible and cannot fault on anything at all, chipper chatty attentive, We came in for a brunch for 3 people, food drinks and speed of service amazing. Have never been into mailcoach before but a lovely little spot, for lunch, drinks, cocktails lovely and chilled. Will be back. Thankyou matt for your amazing host skills and service, we all enjoyed our afternoon here!

Nice town pub with good beer and food. Big rear garden to sit down in and chill. Live entertainment in the evening. Friendly staff and good service.

Went for bottomless brunch on Saturday 27th of May. Can't rate this highly enough and will be going back. They leave the bottle of prosecco on the table (unlike other venues, who are very stingy and only give you a glass at a time). The food was stonkingly good, the service brilliant. The cocktails were fantastic and the staff very attentive making sure we had plenty of drink. We were well.looked after by Micheal, Summer, Daisy and Steph. The awesome food was prepared by Jordan, Oliver and Matt in the kitchen. Thanks guys, see you again very soon!

Cocktails took ages yo make and not great. The BOGOF isn't really a deal as £14 each but not bad.

We only stayed for 1 drink. It feels a bit lost nowadays. Not sure what is up with the drinking culture in Northampton these days.

All of the bartenders are very friendly, but the manager (I met) was extremly condescending. It was my favourite pub but I don’t feel like that anymore

We came here for bottomless brunch on Saturday to celebrate my birthday! The girls looking after us Summer and Beth (I think 🙈 sorry ladies) couldn’t have done anymore for us, they were great! The atmosphere was great and so were the drinks 🍹 Thank you for a great afternoon x

Excellent food! Efficient and friendly service. Pleasant, cosy atmosphere early evening .. like most places gets busy and noisy later and especially weekends. Need to book a table if you want to sit and eat in the evening.

Went here intending to have lunch but the menu was disappointing - the same generic trendy burger, fake tex mex as almost every place in town.

Will think twice before dropping in for a pint. A little put off by the table booking system. It seems that wherever you try and sit at a free table someone has reserved it.

Great town centre Pub, near to the Theatre district. Lovely staff and a great selection of drinks in a most amenable environment.

Live music is excellent. Thursday is open mic and Friday and Saturday is live music. Very friendly staff. Highly recommended this place to people visiting Northampton.

Service was good from the person behind the bar she was really helpful and lovely, that was the best part of the visit, the food was awful chips cold and awful chicke. No check back and given dirty cutlery.
