THE LAB in Northampton

Great venue. Lovely staff. Friendly clientele. And there's usually some live music or something in the evenings.

Amazing grass roots venue. Saw live DJs and had the best evening. £1 entry on the door for non members.

They will be hosting trail hunt sabs who harrass and intimidate ..they threaten the hunt staff,trail hunting is legal...

Visited "THE LAB" for the first time, and I left with total admiration for the place, incredible little venue with the friendlies staff that I have ever met, the bar staff delt with the big crowds so easily and quickly that they made the job look simple.... Door staff ( ticket event) were exelent and the sound engineer did an excellent job of making the band powerful and punchy without being overbearingly loud..... All in all a perfectly run venue and I only wish I lived closer to it... 10 out of 10

Went there for a reggae night where some guys named restoration were playing. Played some awesome music and were all very friendly. The venue was small but welcoming and cosy

This is just a great venue for music , the arts and many things more . The food is amazing here and such great value . The Sunday Lunches are fantastic and so reasonably priced . I've played here many times with different bands over the years and I've always had a warm welcome from the bar and sound staff . Keep it up guys your doing a great job

Always a lovely relaxed atmosphere here especially on Sundays. Friendly staff and always full of friendly, nice people. Good prices and great live music.

Visited this quirky little place for a gig with the T Bone Afrika All Stars featuring The Pink Singers. Had a fantastic time. The atmosphere in there is brilliant. I had food and to be honest I wasnt expecting much for the price, but it was lovely, top nosh! That with cheap booze and fab staff, what more do you need.

Da best private club in town.....since da early 80s....Old skool but modernised by da new generation after it almost died 14 yrs ago.Become a member if you dare! Only friendly non despots allowed! All sorts of activities for da family and for you to explore your untapped creative talents....there's some fab people who work there. They are my heroes....

Went to a gig here. Lovely little venue, friendly and lively crowd. The performer (Rory McLeod) was also excellent. Highly recommended!

Fab gig venue, small and intimate & great for gigs of basically any genre. Drinks are a great price too!

A mate and myself had one of the very best and tastiest Sunday roasts (lamb) we've ever had. Everything was cooked to perfection, and at a very reasonable price. Such a friendly place too, feels like visiting friends. Recommended!

What a treasure this place is . The music of That Joe Payne was absolutely stunning and the vegan "tubular spicy link" dog was by far the best I've ever had ! The TAB Rocks !

Fabulous Sunday lunch. Thick slices of succulent beef, fantastic fresh vegetables, perfectly cooked roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding. Gravy amazing!

Went to see Gnome play last week and was really impressed with the venue and staff. Beer was great and excellent value and plenty of free parking spaces on the side streets. The food also looked really nice

Worst place I've ever been. Full of drugs. Place smelt so bad of cannabis. No place for kids for an Easter craft fair. Just awful!

A great place for live performances, bands, spoken word, dj's, etc. Good food, friendly staff and a chilled atmosphere

Love this place. I have been going here for years and it just keeps getting better. You won't find a cosier more welcoming place to either watch a band or play as a band. I have never had a bad night here. Oh and while your soaking up the atmosphere that a great live music venue creates and enjoying the reasonable bar prices - treat yourself to one of their burgers. Your taste buds will love you forever!

Local club supporting local talent. I'm here for Lay It Down. A platform for (mostly) local rap artists (I'm 51 so might not have the correct terminology) to get on stage and perform in front of an appreciative audience. I'm here for Enmity and everybody else who turns up. 😀 🎤 🎶

Went to see Nerdvana here and we loved it. It's a very small venue, but it packs a punch. Live bands, quality sound, tea (very important to us tea-totallers) Good selection of music, rear covered smoking area.

Northampton'best kept secret. Tuesday night - jam night. Such great talent we have here on our doorstep. And what a great gathering place! Food, drink, live music, great company. What's not to love?

Wonderful place, a very upmarket venue, be warned they have a strict dress code but well worth it, substantial wine selection, on Tuesday evenings they have a jazz quartet which my wife thoroughly enjoyed.

Alternative, slightly crusty place. Amazing value. I love it.

I love this place. Always has a vibrant, Happy atmosphere. Chilled during the day and at night... A couple of the best nights have been had here. 💜

If you like your rock bands loud and in your face this is the place for you. It might not be the most glamorous club in Northampton but don't make the mistake of judging it on first impressions just chill and enjoy the company of like minded people.

Pretty much like watching a live band at your nans house. Includes free sandwiches.

Great Place Socially and good atmosphere, stars lost only due to size, age, access and limited drink choices. It is, after all, an old working man's club.
