First time dinning here food was superb will definitely be back top quality

Possibly the worst place I’ve ever stayed there Saturday the 14th Rooms are dirty the permanent residence kept me up to 1 in the morning needle wrapper on floor at the top on the grass then there was a party in the restaurant with music going all night in the end me and my son left at four in the morning we had no sleep I do quite like a refund as I’m really really not happy

No longer mahrosh restaurant. It is called chillies restaurant and takeaway lovely food and friendly staff the hotel has newly refurbished rooms and value for money.

Top food, real and good, authentic cuisines, traditional Indian & Asia. Spices of heaven..❤️

Cheap hotel, though the room had a distinct smell to it which I couldn't place. It looks like a scary place in the dark and could definitely do with more lights on site in the car park and walkways.

Staff not trained, took 3 phones to get confirmation of booking. On arrival 40 mins before 14.00 hours told room was ready but if wanted access before 14.00 hours a £10 cost would be applied. When got on bed felt like sunk to the floor, windows keep no noise out. Would never use again.

Thieving disgusting staff on property with an unprofessional manager on board. AVOID!

The room was very basic for what we paid. The neighbours was that loud we made a complaint nothing was resolved we had to leave in the middle of the night due to noise. . All the hotel said is leave the card in your bedroom. No apology nothing will not be returning

My company put me up in the attached hotel. Didn't realise my boss hated me so much.....

Place is dirty and the staff are rude and can't speak very good English .very unorganised hotel they didn't know what they was doing .The beds were stained and the food was horrible

Food is really nice. Try Asian (Pakistani) style biryani.

seemed very disorganised food was ok but well overpriced £3 for a small bowl of chips and had to ask a couple of times for parts of the meal even to the point of only given 1 naan bread instead of two. Wouldn't return

Nice clean room, hot shower. Only reason we didn't 4 star it was tea/coffee making facilities. I don't expect takeaway cups n wooden stick stirrers, also limited stock of tea/coffee etc, so much so we popped to lidl for some..

Place was good when Donna had it but new manager is not so nice to customers especially hgv drivers saying they were fully booked and asking for extra payment because we had parked on his land had room booked and previously was told it's a 18 tonne wagon and was fine till we came . The hotel wasn't even half full car park had only a few cars on

Cheap and you could tell but only there for one night. Rooms were old fashioned but bed was comfortable and clean.

Not impressed with this place. Very aggressive staff who force their shady form of self excellence upon you. To be fair, we went at a weekend and this place ONLY deals with business customers during the week. Don't go at the weekends, it's no food, shite breakfast, shite service. The waitress was cool tho. Sadly or otherwise, I won't be going near there anytime soon or in this lifetime.. The highly arrogant management considers that the guests are always wrong.... Especially as stated, you have the audacity to challenge their self portrayed sense of excellence. The establishment only gets 1* because as yet, as with tipping policy in the UK, no tip no comment, crappy tip, chappy place.... 1* 8-)

Motel style hotel. The room was clean and checkin was easy. Free WiFi was available however it wasn't the fastest. Bar and restaurant on site however I did not use these facilities. Next to a main road so some people may find this disturbing. Decent place if your are just wanting a bed for the night.

My partner and I have stopped at the Blue Inn on several occasions and always found it to be immaculately clean. This time there seem to be New management and things have definitely taken a turn for the worse. Firstly we took our very well behaved westie and were told we would be charged extra even though the web site said dog friendly and there was nothing on the booking form about dogs or cost. 2ndly we know from previous experience getting into the shower can be a bit tricky as it is very slippy. This time there were rubber bath mats. . Great we thought.. . Wrong they don't stick and I fell , wrenching my arm getting into the shower. Thirdly. . There was Hair down the plug hole. Fourth on getting out my partner passed me a towel which when opened out had what looked like old blood stains on them!! All in all not happy. The stay used to include breakfast . Seemingly now it doesn't. Not sure we will stay again dispite the price.

Stayed here for one night. There is plenty of parking and a pub/restaurant on site. The rooms a played out in a "motel style" and are very clean and functional. The restaurant is closed at weekends but if you are peckish you can get a pizza. Breakfast at the weekend is a "grab bag" as no cooked breakfasts are available.

Second visit and a little bit disappointed. Seems a change in management has meant a slight drop in attention to detail. Staff very friendly and room clean but breakfast and evening meal times are silly.

Badly in need of up grade especially the rooms for£65a night The bar & restaurant which is a separate building was a bit more like i expected modern & clean happy hour finished at 8pm Friday through to Sunday (San Miguel) £2,50a pint) plus the food very nice

Perfectly adequate hotel if you're travelling and need somewhere to rest your head. No frills, but meets all your basic needs.

Clean enough. Staff were a little unfriendly (especially the younger lad). Bar tried to charge a different price for the same drink on the second order, but easily sorted. Would stay again.

had a good stay at the blue hotel and have to give a special mention to a worker named tom who went out of his way to provide great hospitallity. so thanks to him i had a vreat stay a at good hotel/pub/resteraunt.

We stayed here for 1 night whilst visiting family. We were happily surprised if I am honest. The rooms are basic but very clean, airy and have very comfortable beds with lovely clean linen. Good sized bathroom although no hand soap provided. Bath needs to have anti slip in it and possibly a hand rail as could be a hazard for an elderly guest. Nice fluffy clean towels. On the whole a nice pleasant room. Even though only single glazed and next to the expressway the room was quite sound proofed. The public areas are clean and tidy and staff very friendly. On booking out the staff were attentive asking how our stay was and although busy the chambermaid still had a smile and greeting for us. We didn't use the bar but did have a peek and it felt welcoming. I have always said that a hotel regardless of price should make a guest want to come back and this hotel did that. We will definitely use this hotel again when we visit Redditch.

Blue Inn Hotel was a clean and smart establishment, perfect for a budget nights accommodation. Unfortunately, I stayed on a Saturday night when the restaurant was closed and there was no breakfast on offer. It is more like a motel than a hotel but as I said it was clean and tidy and good value for money.

Good Budget hotel. Rooms small but functional. Bed comfortable, shower hot and plenty of water. Heating in the room very responsive.

Nice for one overnight stay, no one on reception, did not have breakfast because what was on offer was very poor, mainly all workmen there and they was a little noisey we would not stay again. I gave it 2 stars because the room was ok.

This may be a budget hotel but it's great value, comfortable nights sleep, loads of hot water, desk space, free WiFi throughout the hotel. There is also a bar / restaurant area, outdoor seating / patio area. Given all that and the friendly staff, it's one to visit again. A very pleasant stay, see you again soon

Rooms tended to daily, fresh towels and beds made/tea and coffee. The food is excellent, very tasty and always fresh.

Ok for what we paid, disappointed that the breakfast did not have the choice of a fried breakfast, so we chose not to have breakfast at all. It had snowed quite a few days before our visit and no one cleared the carpark so it was dangerous the carpark should have been cleared.

It's ok place for staying hop on off not good for long stay but food available beer available otherwise McDonald is very close by

Had a ships reunion weekend really looked after us rooms were fine food was good thanks to all the staff for making the weekend memorable

Rooms adequate for price could do with mini revamp torn carpet in ours no9. Member of staff who greeted us at reception was very untidy and rest of staff including manager need training in being polite and cheerful no friendly greeting at breakfast just miserable faces !!!! Also wording when selling rooms online need to say that you have to pay £5 extra for cooked breakfast although it says Breakfast Included which most people think includes cooked.

I stayed here for one night as part of a group. It had a great atmosphere and the rooms were clean and a good size. The bathroom was very nice too. It gave me the feeling of an American motel. I had a good stay and would recommended this hotel to all travellers.

First impression .paper cups to drink out of instead of cups , Husband had a shower ,bath taps leaking out of water on to the floor .Not good ,we have reported it .We will wait and see if anything is going to be done . Receptionist ,could have made us more welcoming on arrival .

Room was clean. Some of the plug sockets did not work which was an inconvenience but also could be unsafe.

Had a works social here, was okey for the price

Basic motel room but clean and quiet, above all it is reasonably priced. Breakfast was a somewhat questionable.

They allowed gangs of kids in a room next to us to terrorise us to the point we had to get a taxi home. 3 times we called reception to complain. People were thumping the windows and kicking at our door and the management did nothing to help us. We have since found out the premises are regularly used for prostitution too

We have stayed at the Blue Inn for many years as it is ideal for accommodating dogs also we are able to have an evening meal and breakfast the following morning. Recently however we were very disappointed. I booked on the telephone on February 13 th. to stay on March 24 th. and was asked if we required breakfast ,I replied that I would confirm this on our arrival and the person that I spoke to said this would be fine. When we arrived the receptionist informed me that the restaurant was closed for evening meals and that also breakfast would not be available the following morning. If this is now company policy we will be looking to stay elsewhere in future..Very disappointing.

Good steak even though menu looked limited

Arrived here yesterday checked out this morning, found out I had been charged 60 pound and most others payed 40 pound for the same room! Our hotel room did not have any shower gels/shops essentials so when enquired got told I had to pay which was a joke considering I payed 60 pound and then when offered to pay got told there was none left! Our bed was not like the picture we had no blue cushions or nothing just a dull white set which had a tear in it! Also we hardly had any milk/coffee/tea or cups! and when also enquired about this we got moaned and huffed at when passed more. The only thing good was the comfort of the bed I'm really diisapointed was not worth 60pounds at all!!!!

Overall a good hotel. Location is just off of the m42. Rooms are clean and tidy. Food was of a good quality not too expensive.

I arrived, the hotel does look like a Pontins style apartment block, well maintained grounds, the check-in process was easy enough. I went to the room, it was the side facing the main road, it was basic (as expected) and very clean, lights where you would expect them, etc.. The issues i had were the walls are paper thin, i could hear my neighbours and they were up until gone 1am (and their TV). The road noise, i can normally sleep anywhere, however due to single glazing and the room facing the main road i had one of the worst nights sleep i have ever had. It was impossible to block out as it was single cars going past at 50-60mph every 2-3sec. Anyone that needs a quiet room, AVOID. The bed had a massive dip in it, and i had to tune in the TV as it could only get 2 channels when i arrived, after the auto-retune i could get all of the normal free channels.

We went for the Groupon voucher offer of steak and lobster as neither my partner or I had ever tried lobster as felt it would be a good way to do it. We had a starter as part of the deal which was a fishcake and dressed salad, but when the main came out we realised it was more of a sharing platter and that the steak was unbelievably small. Fair enough it was a cheap deal, but if I was paying the full price for the meal, which is nearly £20, I wouldn't have been happy at all. The lobster was presented whole and the waiter kindly talked us through what to do and what to eat which was nice of them, but even so there is a tiny amount of meat in a lobster and with a small steak it didn't make for much of a meal. The platter came with a basket of chips and even with those we left fairly hungry. The restaurant was very airy and very cold, unfortunately it's that time of year where no one has the heating on but its not quite warm enough yet. Overall the service was excellent, they did look after us really well, and I don't know if we would have had more food if we hadn't gone on a voucher but either way there simple wasn't enough!

Stayed here for 1 night room was adequate and very clean and warm. We paid for full English Breakfast when we made the booking we were not told until the morning that it was continental breakfast only on a Monday morning, yet when we booked they let us pay for a room with full English Breakfast. Not happy about that.

Good place if your a Lorry driver and just want some where to stop for the night loads of noise wasn't happy with the breakfast nice people but unfortunately it just wasn't for us

I travel all over the uk for work and last year when i was in this area i stayed at studly castle which i found small and run down so this year i found here which is cheaper then studly castle and what a gem it has everything you want a comfy king size bed, wifi, freeview tv, the room is warm and cosy and the shower is hot and powerful which is rare to find i also have a kettle and biscuits in my room and can park right outside my room. In the bar/restaurant its very modern with a good variety of drinks to choose from and the menu has a large selection of food to choose from which is good if staying and eating for longer then a couple of nites there is also different deals on each day which is good if your with someone else there is also live sport to watch and wifi throughout. Ill definitely be staying here again good value for money

Right next to a main road, traffic noise from early on pre 06:00. FULL English Breakfast was 1 egg, 1 rasher of bacon 1 sausage which I didn't like, beans, 1 slice fried bread, no black pudding or tomatoes or mushrooms.Restaurant is shut all day Monday, if you check out after 10:00 they want another £20. Evening meal was good though apart from the side salad which didn't have much vegetation apart from the mass of leaves.

My family member working there as housekeeping and attitude is really bad. For 3 month they not giving any hours to work, discriminate if you are foreign, need chase pay slip for few month. Worse place to work and stay. Stayed there once and it was last time.

good, warm, friendly, all you need in a stop over

Had my wedding reception here, and stayed the night. Staff were amazing, food was excellent!!!

Ate here this evening, food was really lovely and great service too.
