Disgusting food. Sheek kebab starter was chewy. Naan bread dry. Vegetable rice had everything but the kitchen sink in it and hardly any meat in the korma. That was nothing compared to the shocking customer service we received. Couldn't find mango chutney, mint sauce and salad in the brown bag that the rest of the order came in. Rang up to say it was missing and the person on the end of the phone (the owner I believe) said he would send replacement to us, no apology. Waited 20 mins for it to be delivered. We then had a call from the owner whilst eating our meal to say that we had received 2 lots of sauces, salad implying that we had lied about the missing food. We were so confused and upset by this accusation! He said that the missing food had been put, not in the main brown bag that all the rest of the food came in, but in the outer bag underneath the brown bag (so basically hidden from us) so I had a look and found it. We explained that it wasn't our fault that it had been hidden underneath the brown bag that all the rest of the food came in and that if this was explained to us when we originally phoned up to complain it was missing that could of save us all alot of time and unnecessary stress. All for the sake of 80p which is how much the chutney cost as the mint sauce and salad comes free with the starter. Just shocked how the owner spoke to us with a angry tone and accused us of lying over 80p!!! Had to write this as the owner put the phone down on us and we feel a sense of injustice. Hope nobody gets the same negative treatment like we did. Safe to say we will be taking our custom elsewhere.

These guys really know how to cook. They obviously make their own naan bread and cook it in a proper oven. The Madras was hotter than I'm used to but delicious. Thank goodness I didn't go for the Vindaloo! My wife's Korma was the best she's had. Nice people, quick service, good product. What's not to like? (as they say)!

Really disappointed . Firstly I ordered via the website, instead of using 'just eat' to save them fees (I run a small business too so I know these things matter) , to discover that I didn't receive 10% discount for collecting my order in person. We are a family of 5 and spent £70 which is a lot more than most other take away options and £7 discount should have been applied. I asked when I came to collect and was offered poppadoms instead which on reflection really isn't fair or enough in comparison. He could have given me the £7 discount from the till out of goodwill?? When we got home with it the food it was absolutely swimming in grease& oil, leaking through the bag. Some of the dishes were really salty, to the point of being inedible. Especially the lamb balti and prawn biriyani and veg curry . Lastly the korma, passanda and tikka massala, had very few pieces of meat. And were just mainly sauce. The naann breads were very dry and tough too. I've had much nicer Indian take aways before and these were really poor in comparison. Again 2.95 each is a lot! For the high prices they charge, it was all really disappointing. A premium price has to be matched with quality in my view.

Very tasty Indian takeaway - the food arrived on time and was hot. We all enjoyed the various dishes. No complaints about the standard of the food and although part of the meal was missing, this was resolved quickly with the company.

the onion haji's tasted like they'd been sitting all day. The Chicken Tikka Masala was bright red - first time for me, and there was only 5 pieces of chicken. The sauce was horrific. The little chicken I had was dry and overcooked. The coconut rice was like stogy, dusty cardboard.

Although live in Margate, ordered takeaway from Mahi in Birchington, a few miles away. Was well worth it, meal was excellent, would highly recommend, arrived hot, in good time, taste exquisite, had Chicken Madras, pilau rice, bombay potato, naan, poppadoms. Daughter & her husband also were well impressed with there meals, loved it.

Came to Margate for a long weekend. We needed a bite to eat after a long drive and found Margate Tandoori. So glad we did. Had a sheekh kebab to share followed by a railway lamb (in hubby's opinion was the best lamb dish he'd had in a long time) and my Dhaka dish was very tasty too with perfect heat. As big foodies in Indian cuisine, this was a very enjoyable experience and would recommend to anyone.

We went here for a friends birthday. The food and service was great. They even gave birthday girl a desert with a candle and sung to her.

Great selection on the menu, the king prawn puree was really nice and the portion had lots of prawns which made the dish. enjoyed the mains and will come back for more.
