One of the best place to try indian foods. I just had a chicken biryani and i must say the taste was top notch. Definately gonaa go there often and try other dishes too. On top of that, service was very good and for me price was very resonable too.

Mahee Tandoori is easily the best Indian takeaway I've had from the surroundings of Didcot/Wantage/Abingdon. We always have the Tikka Masala with Rice, Chips, Garlic Naan and all of it is fresh and delicious. The service has always been exceptional, whether that be me ordering over the phone and collecting or Via Just Eat. I recommend ordering and collecting as you save money and get the friendly service. The value of the food is ridiculous considering the quality, baring in mind a Tikka, Chips, Boiled Rice and Garlic Naan comes to just over £20. I've spent alot more and gotten alot less quality I order once or twice a month and will not be changing anytime soon

Was quick, and the currys were really good, very large portions and also very good price as well. The tandoori chicken was moist.

Food seemed ok when eating, but just spent an hour vomiting it out, so who knows what part of the food was the culprit. My first and last time to eat there!!

Travel from Didcot to Abingdon for this food. It is always good food, never oily like other Indian takeaways. Staff are extremely helpful, and menu has something for everyone.

We usually get our takeaway from here but won't be anymore. The mango chutney tasted very watered down, the poppadoms quite broken up. Unfortunately they overcharged us, for lamb curries instead of chicken, and only told us after we had paid (I didnt mention lamb at all and funny how they charged for the most expensive curry). They gave us a few poppadoms to make up for the overpayment which he told me on the phone was pennies but adding it up after, it was pounds and the 2 poppadoms didn't make up for the difference. Now I'll always total up the cost of my order before I pay so I know if I'm being overcharged! We'll go somewhere else next time.

Ordered a meal over the phone with special dietary needs when we picked it up my wife said it was perfect hot and ready on time can’t get better than that

Restaurant quality food to your door

I am a regular customer of this Take Away, and I would highly recommend them if you fancy Bangladeshi food. The owner and his family are very nice and caring to the customers. Even if your delivery location is a very difficult place to find, they deliver with patience and care. The dishes with Satkora are their speciality, and you can also try Karahi dishes, Tarka Dall (V), Niramish (V) and Mahee Special Biryani if you love Bangladeshi food. They are Fully Halal.

I have been to Mahee several times since arriving in Abingdon in November 2022, and every time the food and service has been second to none. I especially enjoy the biryanis and the great choice of side dishes, in particular aubergine and okra. Just keep doing what you do. Thank you very much ❤️

1st time back in 2 years and it was better than I remember. What a superb meal I really could ot fault it.i went for chicken ceylon madras hot with rice and a pashwari naan. 10 out of 10.and I don't say that often.

Been using mahee for many years and never had a problem, however we placed an order and waited well over an hour for it to arrive and when it did it was cold. Contacted Mahee to be ignored.

Was a bit later than expected (can't complain as it's a nightmare getting in to Didcot atm!) but what a curry! I wanted a hot tasty curry and that's exactly what I got. Tasted lovely, was clean and not oily like some take aways. Really liked it.

We travel 7 miles to visit Mahee once a week! Great food which is consistently good and not variable like some places. Friendly and efficient service. Food is usually ready 20 minutes after we order.

The food was extremely terrible and inedible. Had a layer of fat and coconut milk on the butter chicken. Paneer was extremely sweet and awful. Please avoid this is nowhere Indian food! I was extremely disappointed!

Usually I order through JustEat and the food has always been outstanding. Decided to order directly on a weekday and me and my wife and daughter all left our meals. The chicken pieces in all three dinners were rockhard all of the three dishes over seasoned with too much salt! It’s such a shame because usually they are very good. I think I’ll go back to ordering through JustEat and try it one more time. It’s funny really, because they’ve just been voted the best Indian restaurant by the Oxford mail

I asked for no mushrooms, they gave me extra mushrooms. Spent ages picking them out and ended up throwing half of it away because I lost all motivation to pick them out. It was supposed to be a dhansak, but it was not like any dhansak I've ever had - tasted like the inside of a samosa and there was no pineapple. Not impressed

I find the food at this takeaway good and the home delivery is good I just get annoyed that the free poppadum's are a bit hit and miss either they are included or they are not. I get quite disappointed when they are not in the bag.

Today, the prawns in the dansak were definitely not king prawns, a bit dissapointing

it was the second time ordering- never again. the first time we tried it, the curry/ bombay potatoes were watery, we thought it was just a one off, tried a different curry and again, puddles of water left on my plate. tried calling the restaurant and they wouldn’t answer- to add to the puddles, the food was cold and samosas were soggy. gutted.

This is the first time we’ve ordered from Mahee and I can’t wait till we do again! The food was piping hot and so delicious! Not oily in the slightest and packed full of flavour and heat. Thank you, this is the best Indian takeaway I’ve ever had!

Food excellent as always however over 3hrs late ordered at 1845 delivered 2220 called twice first time was told out for delivery phoned a hour later and told the computer system crashed so they didn't get my order after a bit of a rant it was delivered 20min later

Service was very slow and when it finally arrived was missing a vital part of the meal when I complained they just offered free dish on the next meal Spoilt the meal and will not be using this Indian again

The food was lovely once it arrived. Unfortunately after placing the order I received a message to say it would be delayed by a further 30mins from the 45min time listed when placing the order. Had I known that I would have to wait 1:30 mins for food then I would have gone elsewhere however, the quality of the food outshone the wait so overall I’m happy.

The starter was really awesome, we enjoyed that very much! The onion bhaji’s were really good. The main meal was very much average.

(As away working near Abingdon) Over the last 3 or 4 months, Your dilivery arrivals are mostly early, Your driver is a lovely guy, Fun friendly as see him on a regular basis. We ordered a takeaway from Mahee Tandoori for the first time last night as our usual takeaway was closed. We checked reviews on here for several Indian takeaways in Abingdon and Mahee Tandoori seemed like a good bet. It was the worst Indian takeaway we have ever had. So disappointed. The “pickle tray” was tiny and deftnitely not enough for 2 people, or for the number of poppadums we had, also there was no lime pickle. The sag aloo was just mush and both our main courses were tasteless and not enjoyable. Can’t understand how this takeaway comes out top on trip advisor, our experience was awful

Chicken didn't seem top quality however the sauce was delicious. The samosa was a little soggy but still really tasty.
