A National Trust cafe tucked away in the corner of Bodnant Garden Centre with plenty of seating both inside and out. Lovely friendly staff, super speedy service and the tastiest cheese scone I've had in a long time.

This tea room immediately outside the garden near the shops is quite small and during our visit was very busy and only had a very limited range of food available.

We enjoyed a second visit to this wonderful little tearoom on a recent visit to the gardens. The staff are very welcoming and we found the menu ideal after a two hour walk around the gardens. We both chose to have a Panini and they were perfectly grilled, very, very tasty and just the right temperature to allow the mozzarella cheese to ooze out - gorgeous. The Latte was also perfect - very tasty and really hot. The value for money from this small but very efficient tea room cannot be faulted. Well done The Magnolia. We shall certainly visit again.

Lovely friendly staff but running out of food at one o'clock is a bit poor. Very mediocre pannini with a few wilted salad leaves... would try the pavilion tea rooms next time

The Magnolia Tearoom is a delight to visit. After a wonderful walkabout through the gardens we visited The Magnolia for the first time and were very, very impressed. The staff are very welcoming and provide an excellent service. The bowl of soup had a real 'homemade' taste about it and was piping hot - just what we wanted. We shared a Panini, which again was perfectly cooked and very tasty. Well done The Magnolia - we will certainly visit again!!

On a sunny day in March we started our visit with an early lunch. As none of us were really hungry at that point we decided to all have the soup and tasty bread roll. It was delicious and set us all up for a day in the gardens. We can all recommend a stop off here to set you up for the day.

This is the smaller of the two tea rooms at Bodnant Gardens, and this one has a lovely courtyard seating area, is located right by the Craft Centre, Shop and Garden Centre exit. The staff were lovely and chatty too.

Greeted by a lovely pleasant chatty overworked lady on entering. She was a one man band & was juggling like mad to serve everyone as quickly as possible. The cafe is small but clean & functional. A good selection of drinks soups & snacks. Quality tea & coffee at good prices. Lovely moist tasty cakes. A lovely way to end a walk around bodnant gardens.

I have been here many times and the experience can be inconsistent. It can be very busy and food can be in short supply at at such times. Some staff are very pleasant but we have had some very negative experiences as well. On our last visit we were curtly told that chicken salad was off and that it was too early anyway, not quite 12 noon. Mrs Grumpy needs to go to another charm School! Previously, I have eaten The Welsh Caw,l a special Lamb hot pot and the explanation by the staff was helpful and pleasant . The dish was delicious. The sandwiches have always been fresh and tasty but they tend to run out fairly quickly. The prices are fairly average for a NT property but for a family outing the picnic option would be more affordable. The atmosphere is rather lacking, rather spartan in quite a big space some tables with cloths some without. Efforts have been made with bunting but... Beware, the toilets are up the hill although there is a disabled one at a lower level

They only had sausage baps for breakfast so that's what we ordered....we were then told that the sausages were not ready...it was circa 10:30am...chef then came out and said he had enough sausages for one but could make 2 out of them and only charge us for 1....we agreed....well, the sausages were rock hard.... Coffee was good and the, place is clean...we went somewhere else for lunch....would return though....just chose with care...

We have visited this tea room many times and the staff are always very nice. On this visit we were a little disappointed with the food , we had coffee and scones the coffee was great but the scones were very dry and almost inedible I suppose we should have complained but we didn't. I suggest the staff check the food quality before putting it out for sale.

WE had 'done' the gardens & were ready for a drink. The tea rooms are very handy. Clean & tidy. The staff are very friendly as are most NT staff. Nice tea & snack: nothing special but no reason to moan at all.

Aunque no es un gran salón de té estaba limpio, había tanto dentro como fuera de las mesas, y una variedad razonable de refrigerio. Disfrutamos de bollos y té después de nuestro paseo por el jardín. Una recompensa bien, y no demasiado caro!

Stopped in for a break from the gardens and enjoyed a nice, hot cup of tea and cakes. The tea was plentiful and tea for two took care of the three of us with a little left over! Cakes were delicious and my boys made short work of them, I had to go back for a scone or I wouldn't have had anything. Delicious! Priced as you would expect for a tourist stop. But not outrageous.

Visited here on our visit to Llandudno. We had coffee and cake. The cakes were delicious and a large portion. It’s a very clean cafe. The staff were very friendly. I would highly recommend this cafe. The other food looked very tasty too.

Visited this lovely little garden centre today with my hubbie, sister and brother ( plus 1 very old doggie). Had a lovely lunch, portions were large and lovely, we all struggled to finish our meals. We had already seen the homemade scones and cakes on our way in, so decided to ask for them as a takeaway. The scones were massive and so nice, struggled to eat it 3 hours later. Lemon drizzle cake and Victoria sandwich also got great reviews from the others. The staff were so lovely, friendly and helpful. Definitely worth a visit to this dog friendly cafe and also to potter around the garden centre, so glad we stopped here.

We decided to book for dinner as other restaurants in the area that we wanted were booked up. So glad they were, food was amazing, staff really friendly, great ambience, had a lovely evening.

Ended up here after a theatre show. There was only a small selection of sandwiches but I enjoyed mine and the coffee was good. The staff were lovely. It's basic, it isn't cheap but it was OK.
