I wanted to take my time out to leave a review for the Magic Wrap Queen Street Branch on a recent order for the Deloitte office I was thoroughly impressed by the service I had received in the store. The manager of the store is very friendly, organised and takes pride in customer service. With a big order all the food was fresh, tasty, 100% correct & labelled I will defiantly order from here again!! :)

Really enjoyed my falafel wrap and my kids also enjoyed their chicken ones (which is halal). The pesto and salad combo made it delicious. I was impressed with the falafel as that is always difficult to get right. The portion was vey generous and packed with items selected. Thank you!

Absolutely stunning food every time my wife and I eat here. We've been so many times and perfection awaits us no lies.

Good price for good quality lunch option.

The packaging was nice, however both the wraps had pesto in it and the pesto tasted NOTHING like pesto. The smell was so strong and after taste was so strong that it was almost overpowering the entire wrap. Nonetheless, it also gave us food poisoning the next day! ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND MAGIC WRAP! I am horrified by this and will not ever get anything ordered from here!

Such an amazing place to eat!! Very good standards, clean and hygienic. I 100% recommend anyone to come here it’s very quiet and chilled as always, plenty of space to sit and enjoy yourself. All of the staff are lovely but the girl with the blonde hair is so nice always smiling and happy to help each customer. She’s very hard working, the food is so fresh and you feel great afterwards. This place never misses, the quality of food is perfect!! Thank you Magic Wrap!! ☺️

Raw meat , undercooked, missing a lot of ingredients. Very poor quality food , makes sense why it's so cheap.

I used to love magic wrap. I recall them being full of fillings, finished in a toaster machine to add crunch to the wrap... and so I visited yesterday to grab some lunch for fathers day and make a most of the glorious weather. I ordered the big chick or something along those lines and added extra chicken. The wrap was really dry, really lacked any flavour, was warm and best and very 'bready' with no crunch whatsoever, there was barely any hummus and all in all I definitely wouldn't visit again. For over £10, I'd expect to be full afterwards and I certainly wasn't.although out wedges arrived stone cold, staff were quick to replace them and the service was excellent, it was just a massive shame about the food.

Second time at Magic Wraps and they did not disappoint! Tastes just as good as the first time , it’s relaxing to sit down and enjoy a good meal at a good price 👌

I love the food there, very healthy which is what I'm looking for, the only feedback I have is that chicken should never be served cold not even in a salad and please add more hummus, that's like the best thing in a salad.

I ordered the £8.95 meal deal combo of a sweet potato falafel wrap with hummus, mozzarella and a variety of salad options with sweet chilli sauce, along with plain wedges and a drink. Although it seemed like a very reasonably price, the quality of what I ate was very poor. The potato wedges were almost cold only 5 minutes after ordering, and were soggy and stodgy as if they had been reheated many times. The wrap itself had a good texture, but the sweet potato falafel was generically sweet with a poor texture, and there was no sign of any hummus. The salad was pretty standard although I noticed the mozzarella I had ordered in it consisted of a few grated sprinkles. Unfortunately it is the worst falafel wraps I have eaten, further let down by cold and stodgy wedges which anywhere should be able to do well. The interior of the restaurant, although clean, is bland and clinical, with self service order and pay machines removing any possible value of customer service. For a good quality falafel wrap in Cardiff with great customer service I will always be recommending falafel house (the best falafel) or falafel corner (best value) in Cardiff. Unfortunately it would seem that Magic Wrap never had any magic in their food or service.

Decent but nothing groundbreaking. The wrap rotis were hard but the sauces and options made up for it. A bit overpriced. Ambient music was not soothing during our visit that time.

Omg I cannot get enough! I went for the 1st time a few weeks ago and I cannot stop myself from going! I create my own wrap and it's only £5.95 and it's beautiful! Freshly made, lovely wraps, staff are awesome. I can't stop talking about it to my coworkers and friends. 100% recommend!

Unbelievable wait of over 30 minutes. It’s clearly meant to be fast food as there’s a single bench for 2 people and everyone else is expected to stand. Wedges were stone cold, wrap was bland, took wedges back to be redone but fire alarm started and by then lost the will to live and left the building. Nothing short of dire, everyone else clearly unhappy including staff who looked overwhelmed, confused and stressed.

The Toby wrap is one of the best creations the food industry has ever seen. A wonderful and unique place to eat healthy.

The food was ordered at 10.30 - plenty of time to be here by 12.30 so we could eat it before a planned video conference call at 13.15. At 12.23 the assigned driver hadn't left the restaurant with our order. I tried to call any numbers available to offer to collect the order but couldn't reach anyone. At 13.02 the site updated to say the driver was on his way and the delivery was due at 13.07. Just after this there was a note to say they'd lost signal with the driver. Eventually we received the delivery at 13.35. I had to leave the meeting and contact the driver as he'd cycled straight past our premises. Needless to say we're very unhappy and are only just now eating the food that should have arrived at 12.30. What a complete and utter shambles!!

Quite tasty food. If you are looking after food on the go, this might be it. Price is reasonable for the quality of food. Nice 👍🏻

Not the fault of the restaurant. Just-Eat was unable to find a delivery driver. I phoned the restaurant and went to collect instead. There was no way to cancel the delivery in the Just-Eat service, so I couldn't. I would like a refund on the delivery fees if possible, or a voucher for credit.

First time ordering from here and unfortunately i must say i am dissapointed with the taste. The staff was quite but friendly so service was good. However when we got to eat our wraps, as fresh as they tasted they were dry and the only thing that could have fixed it was the yogurt, which was for some reason also dry and barely existent. For me to see even a hint, it would have meant i would have needed to take everything out to find a small smear (same for hummus wrap)

I ordered from here and my food never came. I tried to call the restaurant but their phone number didn’t work. Absolutely pathetic will never order from here again.

Healthy, tasty food. Good, efficient service

Their original location near Grazing Shed seemed to have an aspect of freshness and care with their food. Unfortunately since they have moved location, that level of quality has drastically dropped. The side meals used to have roast potatoes, which were light and healthy. Now they have wedges, which are either soggy or just feel greasy to eat. The wraps used to have a good mixture of what felt like fresh prepped ingredients, but now their sauces mixes are watery, veg options feel like they are a day old and meat tastes frozen or cheapest possible. Perhaps the new location means corners need to be cut, to afford it but honestly the whole idea is ruined and if you want to eat healthy just go to Falafel Corner not two minutes away. I have eaten here several times, before and after the move but finally I've decided not to eat again. It's unfortunate to see such a good business go cheap and lose it's quality.

This place is quite severely underrated as it is a very convenient way to have a tasty, very customisable, cheap (and relatively healthy) lunch even if you have as little as around half an hour.

Excellent and quick lunch; I recommend more people to pay attention to this place - a lot of choice of toppings, cheap, and quite tasty!

Decent if you go to the store but dont order it via ubereats/deliveroo. Ive probably ordered over 20 times in the past few years and id say 1 in 4 orders they forget something. Really poor service. Finally decided i wont be ordering again after the last error.

After a couple of phonecalls the driver found us with an apology and a smile. No problems! :-)

Magic wraps that are more basic than magic i'm afraid Visited with my sister she fancied one of the vegan options , i was left searching the menu for something as at least 70% of the main menu products were unavailable I eventually selected a peri peri chicken wrap i know on paper that seems difficult to screw up, But I have never had peri peri chicken that tasted more plain than plain chicken before They also provided me with some half cooked wedges which were barely edible Overall extremely disappointed , my sister said her veggie wrap was marginally better but still bland Also the prices are ridiculous we paid £16 for two wraps that would have cost a maximum of £4 to make at home when you are charging these prices you have to provide a quality product It seems other customers are satisfied with this level of quality but i am certainly not one of them Neither of us will likely ever return unfortunately .

Food is delicious, great options for everyone. You can also create your own wrap or salad which I thought was pretty cool. Will definitely get food here again

Love Magic Wrap. I've loved it from day one when it used to be at the back of the Union. But please sort out your opening and closing times. The times stated online are incorrect. Three times ive gone to grab a wrap after seeing theyre open online but have arrived to find a closed shop. Tasty but unfortunately it is unreliable.

Tried this place for the first time today. Lots of different menu choices with the option to create your own which is nice. Food was fresh and tasty, wedges were delicious. Only downside was there was quite a wait for the food as it appeared online orders were swamping the kitchen. Staff apologised for the wait and luckily wasn’t in a rush but worth baring in mind if you’re on your lunch break.

Ordered twice at magic wrap, both times I got the Spicy Jamaican wrap, first time the wrap was amazing, lots of jerk sauce and mango chutney. Second time and I had hardly any jerk sauce and mango chutney 😔.

Food is nice when they get it right. First time we ordered it was great the wraps were so good! But last 2 times I ordered from this place they messed up each order. I ordered once on delivery and the extra filling I paid for wasn't in my wrap and they were missing the cookies I also paid for from the order. Then the next time I went into store and ordered 2 salads, both salads were missing add ons that I paid for. I understand that it is busy and things can be missed but the wraps are expensive and when you are paying extra for filling it really adds up.

What a gem!! My usual work lunch spot now, it's almost guilt free too 😁

After placing an order on uber for one single wrap at 11.42 didn't end up arriving until 13.20. Absolutely appalling with no apology for this. Will consider other restaurants in future.

I l-l-looove this place. I love that's its tucked away from the busy city center so it feels like a secret of mine 👀 their wraps are so high quality for the amount you pay, and they're customisable. Also the way the shop looks is so inviting and modern. I always reccomend this place to my friends as we walk by😊

If you’re looking for a good wrap to have on the go, Magic wrap is a very good choice. Offering a wide range of toppings and sauces, you can make the wrap to your taste and enjoy endless different wraps every time. The staff is nice and the use of iPads makes ordering the food easier and convenient. The price for the wraps is decent and the quantity is good enough for a good lunch. Needs a few more sauces and spices to turn it up a notch .

Excellent range of wraps on offer (including make your own) catering for all dietary requirements and tastes. Since they renovated the shop it's become really efficient and easy to order too.

If you get a chance, you need to try one of these wraps! The establishment has a professional hassle-free self-service kiosk system. The wraps are amazing and you can tailor them to your liking. Quick service.

A big fan of Magic Wrap, really simple to order and food tastes delicious. My personal favourite is the Flying Pig 😊.

The wrap was tough and had very little chicken, no glasses for drinks only non recyclable plastic lined cardboard. Disappointed with my first visit.

One of my favourite places for lunch or a quick bite. Conveniently located in the center of Cardiff, the store has recently undergone a significant rennovation. You are now able to order your wrap on one of several tablets by the entrance and your order number is called out to you when it's ready. This means you can sit down while you wait instead of standing in queue like before. There are plently of wraps to choose from and everything about it is customisable giving you near infinite choice. All the staff are kind and helpful and I've never had a bad wrap. I've also been reliably informed by staff that iOS and Android apps are on the way so you can order before you pop in! If you're particularly busy, they are also available on Deliveroo.

Good food and quick making the order too. Note to anyone that goes here, it is cashless so they only take card payments (which for me is fine). Only reason I couldn't give it 5 stars was due to one boy the kitchen with bushy hair didn't have his hair covered like the rest of the staff.

Ok quick lunch yet overrated in my opinion

Really nice food, selection is great, the flavour always seems to be lacking a little but it's a staple "quick bite to eat on a lunch time" type of place.

I've been a customer for 10 years. SO TASTY AND FILLING!

So I was grumpy, I marched out of Tesco leaving my lunch on the self scan machine that refused to read my barcode. I walked round the corner and saw Magic wrap.. I saw the word healthy and my first thought was "this is gonna be some hipster vegan rubbish with strange fillings and packaging made from refried poppy seeds and pampas grass". I was wrong. Yes, there's a bit of a trendy vibe to it, but what a menu! I stared at the menu for a couple of minutes as the drool started forming in my mouth.. I wanted about six different things, and in the end settled for a flying pig wrap. I nearly got caught out with accidental houmous due to not paying attention, but managed to successfully dodge that bullet. The salad selection was simple (none of the pretentious rubbish you have to avoid in subway, meaning I could say "all the salad" with confidence). The verdict: BEST WRAP I'VE HAD IN AGES. Seriously, it might be priced a little tiny bit more than the processed rubbish in subway, but it's worth every penny. Lunch is generally about filling a hole for me, but this is a lunch that I savoured every bite.

I ordered 3 diffrent kinds and every time i get surprised by the amazing light wrap yet so full of flavor , I highly recommend trying them ,

I had a Jacob Wrap and it tasted absolutely amazing!, it was full of flavour. After eating it I could of got another one and I wish I did. I'll definitely be going back there next time I'm in Cardiff.
