Very nice. Huge quantities though. The omelette was easily big enough for two.

Asked for a large omelette and it wasn’t even a omelette it was chicken scrambled eggs, chips were soggy and old and the curry was bland, rice wasn’t too bad but could’ve done with more flavour won’t be ordering again

Food was bland, salt & pepper was quite had no salt or pepper. Basically a add your own spices

For me, this is THE BEST Chinese takeaway in Failsworth, maybe even in Oldham, but i will no longer be ordering from them due to the ridiculous prices! It was a little expensive anyway but understandable given todays climate, but just had a look through the menu and was blown away....nearly £8 for a portion of spare ribs and £2.30 for a TUB OF CURRY....it's water and curry powder for goodness sake! I know times are hard, but if you can still afford to pay these scandalous prices for takeaway food, then obviously times aren't hard for you!

Massive portions and so tasty! 2 meals were enough to feed 4.

I been coming here on Sunday's for a while, the special chowmein WAS amazing, big pieces of meat, big pieces of veg, in a deep tub. Not any more, all mixed noodles, beansprouts no veg, bits of meat. Has taken a serious dive, sorry magic wok won't be coming again.

I don't know why there are so many one star reviews! I have eaten here many a time and the food is always scrumptious. The staff are really sweet as well. I highly recommend their salt and pepper selection.

I have been a very regular customer for years and their food has always been on point. However, in the last couple of months their food has taken a massive dive. The dishes have totally changed and what they do make is now horrible, burnt cheap and nasty tasing food. Its really is foul. I threw tonights food in the bin. I'll never oder from here again. Regular, loyal customer gone. Be warned.

Took 2 hours to deliver. Chicken didn’t taste fresh , chips were cold. Very disappointed.

Ordered a coke, received warm Diet Coke. Chicken balls were inedible.

Food arrived, some hot and some cold, drinks were room temperature not from the fridge. No sauce to dip with salt and pepper box. Absolutely sopping wet spring rolls, salt and pepper ribs were absolutely bang on the nail but the rest of the food was just "meh" It was edible and it was our first time ordering, but won't be ordering from there again unless it's a last resort type of a thing. Not good, but not bad. Nothing much more to say really.

It Was terrible it was all cold when it came and it was way to oily the salt and pepper chicken and the chips was soggy and a quarter of the trays was filed with oil in them both wasn’t good quality at all got to be honest wasn’t nice at all.

First time ordering, food cold and bad quality. ther ribs were only 2 inch long which bothered me.

Salt and pepper family pack was way way too salty,u can't eat more than 2 chicken ball frm the pack cos of the saltiness,have always enjoyed their meal but sorry the quality keeps dropping with every order.

The chips were as hard as rocks and were definitely not freshly cooked.

Salt and pepper family box a little bit on the expensive side but you get 2 big boxes (although 1 of them mostly chips) it was all delicious. Special chiewmein was delicious and a good size portion. Restaurant also took notice of the note I left on my just eat order, for no shrimp or prawns, very much appreciated. Will definitely order again.

Ordered here many times, but the quality just gets worse and worse and the prices are too high. The quality of meat is very low and most dishes are mostly filler veg - the shredded beef is mostly just veg with a strange smell. Friendly staff and hot food but unfortunately the overall quality is diabolical.

I had 40% off on Uber eats and I’m glad, it was good and that’s about it, took over an hour food was Luke warm, the egg fried rice was clumpy and the chicken chow mien had a funny packaging taste to it? Definitely had better elsewhere but I didn’t want to drive, still cost £20 and I’d saved £9 something so glad it wasn’t dearer for mediocre food

Rice was sloppy and the satay chicken was awful the sauce was all congealed and the chicken tasted off.definitely not fresh and now I feel sick which I suspect will be from eating the chicken.never again

My lst time coming here..I Don t really do take outs..but fancied trying it out. Friendly staff. Ordered won tons and ki ng prawn Japanese noodle..really enjoyed it..would recommend it.

Absolutely terrible the chicken feels like rubber and the chips are not proper chippy chips just frozen ones will not be eating here again unfortunately

Terrible food. Why so much garlic in everything??? Ordered beef and mushroom and it came as beef and green pepper in blackbean sauce which would have been ok but it was swimming in garlic, couldn't even taste the blackbean. Also got pork and mushroom and again swimming in garlic. Absolutely zero authentic chinese flavours. Imo just using garlic to cover up the poor ingredients used. The pork was like leather with no char siu flavouring whatsoever, and the vegetables used tasted stale. All went in the bin with the exception of the BBQ spare ribs which were actually very nice. When will takeaways realise good food = return custom.

Not very nice at all! 🤮 We have just had a delivery from Uber Eats and we ordered 2 X Veggie "meat" boxes and salt and pepper chips cost just under £20 and what a waste of money!! Was looking forward to this food but it is dry and tasteless Called the shop straight away whilst the food is in front of me to be told that the Veg "meat" is dry anyway and WE should have asked for extra sauce when ordering 😠! Sorry but don't tell us Veggie Quorn is dry like that! We cook it all time hence why we ordered Quorn! Also what your excuse for the noodles and 2 bits of broccoli you threw in? All completely TASTELESS not even salt and pepper on it absolutely shocking place! There really is no excuse to fob people off because you haven't provided us what we ordered from your menu....you certainly don't blame the customer or the Quorn for your incompetence!! To be honest who ever cooked that needs sacking! Guy in the shop not at all bothered ready to blame anyone but himself!! Save your money and order somewhere else!.....and to the shop owner I hope you do the right thing and spend our £20 on spices, salt and pepper!! ....fuming!!😏

Bit small this place, but the food is wonderful. The bbq ribs are melt in the mouth.

Ordered a box meal where you get rice meat and a sauce all in one and all’s I got was beef in a sauce , no rice they said the chef miss read the order then they said they will send the rice out but later which is a joke as the beef in sauce is just sat there , I wanted the box meal which I asked for but they was only willing to send out rice while the foods going stale so I just put it in the bin and got a refund off Uber eats , absolute joke used to order all time but they clearly don’t care about the customers won’t be ordering again

My husband and I love this place! We have never had a bad experience, the staff are lovely and super helpful. I recommend pre-ordering and collecting as they can be very busy but the food is most definitely worth the wait. We will not go anywhere else. We even buy food and take it to our relatives who live an hour away as it's far better than anywhere else even after travelling and reheating. 10/10 recommend.

This is probably one of the worst place to order, dirty inside and the food they make is absolutely rubbish. Not worth spending a penny there. Avoid this place if you want to order a good food. I will also consider reporting to the council about their hygiene. No sense of humour

Magic WHAT!?I've had food from here before a while back, it's been good. I don't know what's happened since, but this was awful! I'm veggi and found a piece of pork in my rice. I had sweet and sour that had two peppers, 3 raw carrots, and two pieces of pineapple. Vermicelli that just had soggy vegetables in it, noodles were dry and stodgy.👎When I called up to get a partial refund, I was told they are very busy, they have had no other complaints as that he doesn't have time to stay on the phone to ME and to call back later. Phone was abruptly put down. I called back and was told no driver could come out to refund me, but they will give me a free rice and sweet and sour next time I order. Was plesent enough...but won't be ordering from here again. They sound way too busy to deal with customer satisfaction. Sorry guys!

I give it 4 stars because of experience with last owners, although the first was hot the waiting time was a lot longer than they said but it was hot and fresh and enjoyable, i haven't had anything from new owner and believe there changing the name and at the moment use the new and old magic wok name, my experience is with the old owners

Awful service awful food, waited 1 and half hour for food some of the order was missing prawn crackers the chips were old chips, the food was semi warm avoid at all costs very poor service and poor quality food absolutely disgusted wastes my money completely on this food threw it away and ate toast

Its decent food although the prices are a little high for the standard of the food .

Really busy when I went in so I was expecting it to be great food. I was slightly disappointed to be honest. I had duck with a sauce. I was surprised to find a tub of duck and a tub of sauce. Usually they cook the duck (or other meats ) in the sauce, keeping it moist. The duck was nice but quite dry because of this. Also disappointing was the chips, not unpleasant but just dry and almost tasteless. Portion sizes were good however

Never trust the ETA they give you, add an extra hour or 2 and you should be good. Oh and dont bother calling youll instantly connect to an automated service

Poor delivery service ordered for a Singapore fried rice , prawns curry and wantons charged , didn't get fried rice and tried to call back no answer neither called call back . Waste of money and cold food .

Great tasting Chinese food with big portions. Great value for money. Great veggie options (e.g. S&P tofu and quorn). Satay sauce is banging and you get a long of bang for your buck. If you're after a good old fashioned proper Chinese takeaway with a great service, look no further!

Ordered food at 19:26 and food didn’t show up until 21:42. Unable to even talk to them on the phone to follow up on order as they don’t answer and have no voicemail facility. Food itself was fantastic and they did throw in a free drink (I assume as a apology for the delay.)

We had to wait very long for the order to arrive /2 hours/ and we were a bit upset at first but it was definitely worth the wait!!! The food was absolutely amazing! We ordered a variety of about 10 dishes and everything was delicious, fresh and warm. And the portions were huge! Would order again but this time will bear in mind the extra delivery time as they are apparently very busy. 😊

Best Chinese takeaway around north Manchester. Delicious food, all seems fresh and not excessively greasy. Fast service, very generous portions and very reasonably priced. I always get the roast pork Vermicelli, however they also do a fantastic satay chicken.

First off not really a fan of Chinese but wow the hot noodle box and salt and peper beef was amazing really nice food my kids had chow mein and loved it ti all fresh hot and the gent on the phine was polite to giving us couple free cans and curry sauce and prawn crackers fresh ingredients fresh and hot food keep it up

Straight in the bin, disgusting. Ordered thai green curry with chicken, the sauce looked like dish water with no flavour and the "chicken" the texture of uncooked white fish. Never again.

Very good nicely prepared food. They have a wide variety of different meal choices. This is a takeaway place only so in house dinning you might need to find an alternative. However they also do home deliveries as well so that's good.
