The Claypot rice with pork ribs, chicken and wax duck was brilliant. Add some chili oil to make it even more appetizing. The boss lady was very nice. Thank you. Will come again.

My favorite Chinese place. Bottomless huge pots of tea. Very friendly relaxed atmosphere. Very tasty. I love their ox tongue. Free wifi and spotless clean large lavatories.

This was my second visit to this restaurant - I found it by accident the first time and brought the family with me the second time. The place is normally busy but the manager is a really nice guy, lets you know how long you'll be waiting for a table (and he's pretty close). The food is really nice, the portions are massive in places and the service is fast and friendly. We ate well, lots off, and left happy - I will eat here again and can recommend it. Hats off to the team who are clearly working really hard.

The stone rice pot is so delicious!!! 😋 We can select three favours: chicken, salted duck, and pork ribs. The salted duck is out of this world 🌍 the best part for the stone rice pot is the rice crust! In addition, staff is super friendly and attentive 😁

Spot on service (very fast), delicious food

We ordered a variety of dishes, including fried rice and fried noodles, and everything was delicious. However, the dim sum were not so good.

All four dishes were not tasty at all. The meat had a strange taste, and the sauces were extremely slimy and seemed rushed.

Nice Cantonese food and drinks. Staff are very helpful and polite.

It should be a bigger portion as a platter. But the portion is very small. I think the plate may be too big. -Stewed Beef Brisket £14.80 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The portion is okay, the meat is very soft, but I don’t think it tastes particularly good. - Stir-fried cauliflower £13.80⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I like it, but it's very salty. It contains minced meat and dry ingredients, so it's very fragrant. -Yuanyang hot drink £1.30 Hot drinks are cheaper than cold drinks. Ordering them with your meal is cheaper than ordering them directly. -Plum Juice (500ml) £3.00 The boss also recommends their fried rice, but we don’t like it. If you have friends who like it, you can try it. Their claypot rice is also not available at noon, so don’t miss out!

Yummy food, cheap prices, and polite staff.

Delicious as always however I ordered seafood and assorted meats and there's only seafood.

I loved the food, we went at lunchtime, they have menus for £12.50 and you can order a cold drink for £1.80 or a hot drink for £1.50. We ordered a dish that had rice and duck and another with soft noodles and duck and they were impressed. Very friendly service. We leave at £17 per person. I would return without hesitation

I'm just happy because I ate rice every 5 days in the UK... As soon as it opens, there are a lot of Hong Kong locals, so I think it's a good restaurant. I ate rice and the fried noodles looked really delicious.

Come for the comfort food, if you've been to HK it will feel like you've stepped through a portal to one of their cha chaan tengs.... no messing about here in terms of service and faffing around.... pricey but perfectly acceptable if you're not a fussy eater

Poor,disrespectful and rude service.Restaurant still had few empty tables.We did not call for the bill but the lady boss brought the bill and the card machine literally chasing us away.I still had my sparkling water not finished.I suppose that’s why some will always be where they are.I will never go back

We order fusion menu for two and It was really inedible. And the worst thing was that we saw people around eating things that looked excellent. Not a good choice, so spicy!!! Try something different!

The food is passable, the location is convenient, and the price is of course more than twice that of Hong Kong, which is considered normal. However, the attitude of the waiters is average and they all speak Cantonese.

In walking distance of our accommodation- there are many Chinese restaurants in China Town sector. It was by chance we chose this one. Staff were friendly and the food was delicious. It took a while to get the food but it tasted fresh and they were really busy - turning people away at one point.

roasted duck was good as well as sweet and sour chicken eggplant with minced pork and salty fish too mich salty fish so overpowering but over all good

Although they specialize in Hong Kong style, the dim sum is average. My friend recommended the claypot rice, which is also average. The waiter is friendly and urges you with a smile on his face. It feels like he wants us to eat quickly and leave quickly (maybe this is Hong Kong style, Fast pace, limited time dining culture 😅) The store closed at 11:00pm, and there was no queue outside the store. There were only three or four customers left in the store. After being disturbed many times, we checked out at about 8:30pm. We were in high spirits and sat down. The first meal after a five-hour train trip with friends, disappointing! Because the store added a pill⭐️, I hope there will be improvement in the future.

I should have rated this restaurant less than average really. It was not very clean. The service wasn’t good. The food average o less than that. The worst thing is that they closed very early but didn’t say that to us when we enter. So they were cleaning while we were eating. One can imagine that it was not very nice. I must say that it was not a nice experience…

The owner was extremely racist and rude, she immediately asked me if I needed a job when I entered the restaurant. She even had the audacity to repeat herself. She was disrespectful the whole time we were there, food is decent, but the owner made our experience a 0.5/10 really disappointing!!

Fantastic food and service. We'd been using a place across the road for a couple of years, but the service is really poor so decided to try anew. 1st place we try is literally across the road and turned out to be great. As with any business surrounded by other's in the same line, they specialise in the chosen cuisine, which means that not every dish you may love will be on the menu - as with every eatery in chinatown. BUT the service is fantastic, fast n friendly. The food is incredible which is a given within chinatown, n there's lots of it. We will definitely be returning soon.

I have visited this restaurant several times. Food is generally authentic and of decent quality, however the service is very poor which is the main shortcoming of this restaurant. Most waiting staff are polite and helpful with the exception of Flora, the lady with short blonde hair, who has shown very poor attitude on multiple visits. She is very rude to customers which ruins the dining experience. Service needs to be much better for this restaurant to remain competitive in the Manchester Chinatown!

Great authentic food at this lovely restaurant with amazing service

The cost of the food I was expecting really good quality and that is far from what I got. I got tasteless bland food. The only taste that came through was salt. Will not order again. Expensive for really really poor quality.

Familiar language and familiar food from Hong Kong. Tasty and filling and quick.

A waitress (I learned from a friend that she must be the boss's wife) had a poor service attitude. After seeing me sitting there for five minutes and still not placing an order, she walked over and asked how many people were there and if I still couldn't place an order. Huh. . Are you trying to stop him from doing business without understanding me? After finishing the meal and paying the bill, I asked him (and it was him) if he wanted to pay in cash. He told me that it was fine if you asked me to do so. I told him that I would pay by card. He said that since you had a card, why should I drive again? Haha~~ Now that I’m saying hello, I’m going to be the boss lady. To be honest, I’ll give you a star for service. It was obtained by a male waiter on your floor. His service attitude is very good and it has nothing to do with you.

The food waiters are okay, but the landlady has a bad attitude. There will never be a next time.

It is one of my favorite restaurants in Manchester. Highly recommended the Won Ton Noodles (shrimp dumping), adding red vinegar and enjoy together.

Food is acceptable, but the old female waitress whom I believed is the boss lady and later told she called flora and is the boss woman indeed!she was so rude and aggressive, seems to have a very serious emotional issues,she should be just stay home and close the restaurant and then she can do whatever she want,not like now the way rhat she treat the customers and not let the customer to suffer at all! Been a few tines before and she never change the attitude ,she is still same as so incredibly rude,aggressive and inpatient!! Every time as we dined there,keep showing the face to customers, like this time when I want to change my mind on a dish I just ordered while she still writing the order on an order book,she said I cannot change my order coz she dropped down my order already!!!!how ridiculous and rude the way she responded to me,and can she just crossed it off and change it,is it so difficult to do that?especially even have not reach the kitchen yet! And later on didn't show any sign that she want to change it and keep shouting to the waiter and kitchen and eventually we just said we were not bothered to change to keep her not shouting and facing her attitude, was extremely unbearable and I would not recommend this restaurant to anybody if the old grumpy, rude boss lady still there.avoid it.

Staff were OK and friendly apart from an old evil face waitress,food is OK again only found the old waitress very annoying and rude,when we just finished the the meal and having our tea,she immediately put down the bill on table already and keep checking if we pay while we're trying to finish our tea while the restaurant is not even busy,what a way to treat customers, I think she need to go back to the basics and learn how to treat customers and food !

The food was fabulous! I ordered tge Salt & Pepper Chicken Wings and Salted Fish with Minced Pork and Aubergine Boiled Rice from the lunch menu. It was delicious, the service was fast and the waitress was so attentive!

I ordered the food at 3.50 and got it at nearly 6pm. The delivery time kept getting delayed On top of that the barbeque ribs tasted like fish. I guess they had fish oil somewhere near the ribd. i hate to leave bad reviews, I used to be a chef and hated seeing them but this was bad. The food was cold as well. I have tried this place before and liked it, so I assume it was an off day but it was an off day at the expense of my stomach

I ordered from here after a night out, and please avoid at all cost. They will try and scam you purely based on the fact that you may have had a drink. We ordered two rice, and served us only one dish. When we pulled up the fact that they only served us one dish, they were throwing up on a fuss that it was two portions in one dish. We furthered mentioned that we ordered two noodles and how they arrived over two plates. They continued to argue with me and tell me I’m wrong Please avoid this place

My family and I had lunch 🥪 🥙 here today and it was the most beautiful Chinese meal that I have ever had. The service was fantastic, friendly faces, service with a smile, staffs were very attentive and orders were served very quickly. I am going to rate this restaurant a 10/10.

This is absolutely ridculous. On my app its said "Delivered" but in fact I did not get anything and no one contacted me. I'm under an impression that the driver took my food. The driver should be fired! There should be a platform provided for people to contact the driver!

this is a horrible restraunt, me and my best friends family came to this restraunt and we ordered duck and the duck was uncooked and we got a new one and still was slighty uncooked the srrvice was horrible one of the waitress women didnt let my best friend eat sewead and after that she ate nothing because all she wanted to do is eat sewead and rice together overall, the atmosphere was not too bad.

Horrendous service, staff were unkind. Duck uncooked and dry.Hygiene was very poor, overall don't recommend coming.

Disappointed. Used to come to this place a few years ago and standards have dropped massively. Went in today and it was quite busy as its new year and didn’t have a great experience. They took 40 mins to serve us, meanwhile people who came in much after us were getting the same dishes we ordered much earlier. Asked two times for a update and it didn’t come. When the food did come, the rice was hot, the veggies stone cold and the meats like warm. Not an enjoyable experience at all. Service was not great but they are quick to throw in a 10% service charge which should be optional based on service.

Don't waste your money here. Rude, rude, rude. Paying for a rude service. No thanks. I'll go else where.

Drinks are ok, Hong Kong styled. The roasted meat are so far so good. Chow Mein is in good quality. However, the rice is not well cooked this time. I'm a little bit disappointed. Staff are nice. Overall is a 4 stars.

We had the Hong Kong lunch - vegan Singapore rice and vegan Singapore vermicelli and lemon iced tea. Everything was perfection, so well seasoned, vegetables were perfect consistency, tofu was so delicious and soft cloudy texture. Iced tea was perfect too, not too sweet, just right, with nice big slices of lemon. Efficient service too. Highly recommend

I’ve never argued with any staff in any restaurant. This is the first time I have got scolded by the owner (the lady). I don’t think I will come again. I didn’t listen to what everyone said, I’m really upset! The boss lady is making trouble with her black face, there will be no next time

We walked around China town for an hour with cranky diabetic girly. My best critic was getting hungry but all the restaurants here are rated quite low so it was difficult to choose. After being rejected by Hanem (or whatever it’s called) we happened on this pearl of a restaurant. We ordered our normal fayre and as few additional starters and it was delivered unhurriedly in courses. Just wow. Salt and pepper chicken, 1/4 duck, prawn dumpling, sweet and sour chicken, steak and black bean. Best I’ve ever tasted and that includes there that china town in London. I don’t often give top marks but this feels like a family venue, the food is magnificent and so is the service. I will travel from the Wirral again to eat here. AND take a look at what the locals eat - magnificent!

I'm a regular for the tasty Hong Kong chinese food, good service and 5* hygiene rating. Family run joint, often packed but never had an issue getting a table on Sundays or Mondays when we visit.

This is a classic Hong Kong styled restaurant in China town. The staff was welcoming us when we just arrived. We came to taste the well known beef brisket meals. The beef brisket was so tender and the curry was strong enough too. Particularly they offer Coffee with Tea, aka Yuenyeung, which I can’t miss it.

It hurts me to say this as previous order was delicious and I raved about it!! But this one .. Rice all clogged, noodles white and brown??? Strange salty egg!!?? Really disappointed must be new chef??????

Me and my family came for food we asked for a table of 4 and the waitress rudely pointed at our table didn’t walk us over or nothing, then when I asked for the toilets she gave me attitude and was rude and said the following ‘are you here to eat food or just to use the toilet’ I then said both so she pointed to where the toilets were, I then walked back over to my table where I was sat with my family they all ignored us, the waiter and waitress looked over multiple times and didn’t come over to our table once we were sat there for 15 mins no drinks or food at all, I’d say it’s the worst restaurant we’d ever attended.

Great find in the middle of China Town full of locals having lunch. Lunch time menu very good value for money, less than £20 per head for x2 courses and drinks. Good selection of tasty authentic Chinese food with a 5* Hygiene Rating. Good friendly service. Highly recommended and will visit again.

Traditional Chinese restaurant with an extensive menu. The food is not the westernised Chinese food you can get on the high street but traditional Chinese food.

I’ve visited here many times. Each time it’s a pleasure. Originally I thought maybe only the meal I selected happened to be the best on the menu however I’ve now had the opportunity to try many and none disappoint. My favourites are the beef curry and the fillet steak in Cantonese sauce. I’ll keep coming back as the food is great, the prices are very reasonable and the staff always friendly. With so many Chinese restaurants to choose from in the vicinity it’s worthwhile checking out hygiene ratings. Many are poor. This has the highest hygiene rating.

Really disappointed in this meal, salt and pepper chips were clearly frozen and had other random styles of chip in with them, pork was tough and sauce was too much

OK Chinese restaurant, it's not that big and it gets busy, best to reserve a table if you can. Food is OK in my opinion, service is very good, they serve a variety of dishes including home style dishes. It will depend on what dishes you order, but the dim sum was poor.

Lovely chicken wings, great noodles. The BBQ pork was really tasty, but the skin could have been crispier. Really friendly service, a brilliant lunchtime spot.
