Working away again, ended up staying in Barking 😒 , and a fancied a kebab , and I can't really knock it to be honest , I'd have it again if was staying in Barking but I won't be returning to Barking this side of the century ,

Worst food ever I had. Order chicken biryani and there’s not even a signal piece of chicken. When I ask the staff they are just foolish reason without even any knowledge what I am asking for.

Ordered yesterday and they forgot my chips, hardly any meat in the doner meal just full of salad and 3 small strips of doner. The lamb box was just full of tiny left overs. The food is usually really nice but lately the quality and service has gone down. The phone number to call them doesn't work either so I couldn't resolve the issue.

Food has gone down in quality significantly since they installed the machines while prices have shot up. I ordered a chicken shwarma sandwich today but was given a chicken donee instead by the new boy works there. Waste of money.

The chicken shawarma is bursting with flavor, and hands down, this is the top kebab spot in Barking. Everything's freshly cooked, and the place is spotless, boasting a solid 5-star hygiene rating. Definitely worth a visit!

Fantastic customer service Tasty food

Probably best shawarma wrap in east London. Always good to tell the bossman no salad so he packs in the meat to the max, only to "change your mind" lastmin and say U do want salad 👀... Then watch him try wrap that baby like a Columbian sending a suitcase through customs. Fair price. Quick service. Clean. Not ideal to sit in unless you want someone asking U for money. Free doner for the homeless, I say!

Too expensive. I asked for medium doner only meat. They gave me pitta and salad. So I know pitta and salad not free this is the reason I asked for meat only. Already got very small portion of meat. Instead of pitta and salad could get some more meat!!

The food was so disgusting I had to throw it in the bin. They added like a KG of salt in the shawarma. Will not visit again. The old KTK was much better.

The staff are very friendly and helpful the place looks very clean the salads bar very well presented and fresh the only downside the lamb shawarma every time I go there the same story very salty apparently is the owner idea wake up. Start listening to your customer.

Before here as tasty kebab and it was really tasty. I can say it was best kebab on Barking. Today I came here.it has new name( magic doner London). I was disappointed. Very slow service. I ordered take away. At home I saw that chicken meat is burned,overcooked and very dry. Looks not fresh cutted.it was the worst kebab in my life. For this price very bad taste. Next time will go to German donner .Will not come back again.

This place is very clean and the food is not greasy ! Having said that I expected more from the shawarma 🤷🏽‍♀️ they don’t have tahini or pickles inside the shawarma which is a big no no for me ! The shawarma wrap was very big but it tasted more like doner than shawarma !

Oh my goodness. This is by FAR the best kebab place I've ever been to. From outside doesn't look much but the food is amazing. The freshness and value for money is unreal! I hope since changing names it continues the same 🤞 there's not much atmosphere inside but a worktop bar style with stools for eat in. But honestly it is a must go!

Got chicken shawarma sandwiches for all the family. Last week it was the owner himself he did a good job. Next week was his employees. All they added to the sandwich was onions. The meat was minimal in there Wasted my.money this time I travel from Goodmayes for this. Won't be going here again

This place has drastically gone down hill since they changed their name to Magic Doner.

Used to be fantastic and a real gem but lately the food has been poor, burnt doner kebab twice, the size of a large mix was small compared to a a few months ago and often not a 50/50 split of meat. Not sure why it has gone down hill it was once really good. And I am sure it is still good but I have complained to the owner but don’t think they cared much.

Very tasty and fresh with good portions.

Had the lamb shish & it was absolutely delicious, the hummus was warm smooth. The chilli scauce hot and spicy and the salad was veried and fresh. I will definitely be going back!!

This is an absolute hidden gem. I order here once a week. Their lamb Shawarma sandwich is really good, but their best dish is the lamb shank or lamb neck, delicious soft tender meat that is full of flavour. Portion sizes are good and prices very reasonable.

Had the lamb shank with rice, it was really soft and tender. Had a good flavour to it. The portion size is really big and you get a lot for your money. The lamb shawarma was so good especially with the chilli and garlic sauce. Will definitely come again and try something else. They do also have a restaurant a short walk down, but unfortunately they don’t do the shawarma.

I got the large platter but not even a small .It slyly got fill MAJORITY WITH RICE and a thin mix of meat on top to mask. Please check your box's before taking. 80% gets filled with rice then covered on top with meat. It was a horrible experience for my family. Just needed to state the truth.

The kebab is nice 6/10 as it is flavoured, with thick slices of meat, i got a pitta sandwich for £3.99 at lunch time. It was worth it.

My wife and I are looking at moving into the area, thought we would pop into a local gem as many others said. We were not disappointed, friendly staff, great quality food and cost effective. Will definitely be back!

Lamb shawarma meat is a joke, is full of fat (I would say half of the meat quantity is fat). Also the chilli sauce is bad ! They don't ask if you want chips or rice, they give you chips by default. Just the quantity of their products is good.

I had the mixed Doner kebab at just under £10. The lamb doner meat feels like it contains a higher percentage of meat than you get at usual kebab shops. The lamb actually tastes lamby (if you know what I mean). So yes it's great but just needs getting used to. Portion size was good and I was left feeling very satisfied.

Food is no ready Cold When is busy time they They give only baked meat from the top, which in front of my eyes was getting maybe 4 minutes I do not recommend! I will only add that the customer after me was asked to wait 20 minutes due to raw meat from the same grill. I don't know what's wrong here A friend because he speaks the same language? And the staff can't even speak English well My dog dont want eat this when try smell

Chicken and lamb shwarma was good and the portions were very generous. I gave 4 stars only because meat was a little bland for me and chilli sauce was not very spicy but overall food was good and I would definitely recommend if you like you shwarmas.

It’s located at the town center just opposite Lidl supermarket! The meat are well seasoned and cooked perfectly! Lamb sharwama is a must try … it’s very tender and flavorful combine with the fresh salad 🥗 garlic sauce… super delicious! The chicken sharwama and the stew lamb neck with rice is great too! Price are reasonable being in London area …. It’s always busy during meal time; but once you placed order they give you a number then when it’s your turn, they will ask you what you like to put into your sandwich! Everything packed with flavor and they are a bunch of friendly Turkish cooks! Keep grilling guys … will come back when in Barking area 👍🏻🤭

These guys have one of the best kebabs I have ever tasted.

Food is no doubt excellent and they know it, and that’s why it’s reflected in staff attitude. The staff used to be very friendly when it first opened, however their attitude changed as the place grew in popularity. Original members of staff changed and the new bunch knows ppl will come to them anyway! It’s quite busy and portions size went smaller. Food is still good and that’s why I still go there. I wish the success does not go into management head and they place more emphasis in customer care and friendliness and change the habit to putting stingy portions. It still seems ok value for money but could be better.

Came to barking to see a friend for 2 days. I've stumbled upon this accidentally and my words.... I've found a proper German style kebab which is by far the best one I've had in the UK.

I just order through uber eat and few items are missing, they haven't send us everything we order even we pay for everything and phone number on the website it's mobile always goes on voice mail so no one available to help you or for the enquiry which is not good, very bad.

The kebabs are to die for. But I also definitely recommend their lamb shank/neck. Absolutely huge and unbelievably tender. All for only £6!
