This restaurant is gone it’s upd and went to the restaurant heaven in the sky it is no more it’s ceased to exist and doesn’t has passed

This is the first restaurant that my wife and I went to when we were dating. The food is delicious and the service is good.

Walked up and down Upper Street. A mate of mine checked as well. It's either vanished into the 4th dimension (this can happen in Islington) or it's closed. Probably closed.

You could easily walk past this place and not notice it - but if you feel like authentic Moroccan food then this is the place to go.

Primera vez comiendo marroquí, así que no puedo comparar los sabores y comida de otros restaurantes. Pero que no tengo más que decir esto, el servicio fue excelente! Nuestro camarero era extremadamente servicial a la hora de recomendar platos para probar.La comida era estupenda también. Pero voy a reiterar que esta es mi primera vez probar comida marroquí. Para el primer plato tuvimos hummus (que he probado antes) y era fresco y no demasiado grasienta. muy sabroso. Teníamos el cordero tajín que nos dijeron que era uno de los alimentos más tradicionales. El cordero se derretía en la boca y no era duro como me esperaba. También había un menú opción en un gran precio de 12,95 . decidimos probar los aperitivos y platos principales diferente ya que era nuestra primera vez comer allí.En cuanto a la atmósfera del restaurante, yo diría que fue muy acogedor y algo romántico si el lugar no está muy llena. Nos dieron una de las primeras asientos, lo disfruté mucho.Sin duda volveré pero que quieren probar otros lugares marroquíes así que mejor juzgar la calidad de la experiencia culinaria.28 GB nos dieron una botella de vino, 1 botella de agua, 2 entradas principales y 2 entrantes.

Elegí este por casualidad después de pasear por las calles de Islington. Estábamos bastante temprano, así que nos pusieron al lado de la ventana, lo cual nos gustó. una buena selección de platos, parece auténtico como mejor te puedo decir. Entrantes eran excelentes, y mi tagine principal también era perfecta. otro principal era un pollo ligeramente seco. El servicio era muy bueno: atento sin ser entrometido. cuándo fácilmente ir de nuevo cuando estemos en la zona.

Fui con mi hermana y su otra mitad. restaurante no estaba lleno cuando llegamos, pero pronto se llenaron. menú tiene un montón de opciones, y alrededor de 10 el tagines, que van desde una selección de cordero diferentes platos, a través de un pescado tagine de conejo y venado. Todo era muy fresco y bien preparada y presentada. El precio Es muy razonable para Londres - salió a sólo 25 libras por cabeza incluyendo bebidas y 10% de servicio (que se añade automáticamente a la factura).

comimos aquí cada vez que estamos en el área y nunca nos ha decepcionado.olvidar todos los demás, nuevo, lugares de moda Upper Street. Magreb ha estado aquí por edades y la comida aquí es siempre excelente.lista de vinos tiene una buena mezcla. Algunos de los vinos marroquí son una delicia!

Fuimos allí por una noche sat basado en las recomendaciones de TripAdvisor (no me preguntes por qué, pero ese día, hemos estado anhelando para unas buenas couscours ... )Llegamos temprano, ya que el restaurante estaba casi vacío, nos pusieron en la ventana para atraer a paseantes ... (al final funcionó, cuando nos marchamos a alrededor de las 9 p.m. el lugar estaba muy lleno).Pedimos unos cuscús rancheros de carne, viene con bolas de carne, merguez, cordero y pollo, y tagine de pato.Ambos eran muy sabrosa, mucha comida sin ser overkill, y vino a un precio razonable.Probamos el postre pero que era realmente bastante pesado así que nos dejó allí ...Sin duda recomendaría este lugar a cualquiera que esté buscando un cuscús.

Islington, una amplia variedad de restaurantes. hace unas semanas, estaba allí con unos amigos. Casi por cambiar, vimos este restaurante y decidimos intentarlo.fue una grata sorpresa ... la comida es fantástica, amplia variedad de platos, excelente servicio.Sin duda, uno para volver.

Comimos allí jueves pasado, tuve el Kefta tajín, muy sabroso. servicio amable. No tan barato £77,00 por dos cursos para 3 personas, precio no incluye 4 cervezas marroquíes y un par de copas de vino. Lo recomiendo si estás en la zona.

We ate here by chance on a Tuesday evening as our regular restaurant in the area (Gem) was full. There was plently of space. The food was tasty, traditional Moroccan with few frills, the service friendly and prompt. The Moroccan wine was a very pleasant surprise. Not that cheap, £90 for 3 for two courses and a bottle of red wine.People with limited mobility should be aware that access to the toilets is via a narrow curving staircase.

Four of us ate on a Saturday evening.Great food for carnivores and veggies alike (we were two of each), a far better veggie choice than normal. The lamb in the tagine was great quality and then deliciously cooked.Three full courses and drinks for £120, and great service too.I would recommend it to anyone - try it yourself

After a trip to morocco last year we have now made three visits here.The food and armosphere are excellent. The tajines are a highlight, with great combinations of fruit and meat, and excellent specialities like pigeon pastilla. Thoroughly recommended, thou wine list could do with improvement.

Loved this place! A short walk from the Highbury & Islington tube stop, down charming Upper Street, this restaurant is like you're actually in Morocco, until you look out the window and remember you're still in London. Similarly when you first see through the window into the place, it just draws you in with all it's beautiful Moroccan decor. As for the food, they have a wide range of tagine-cooked meals, but that's not all. They have a variety of other selections to suit many different taste and desires, should you not be hungry enough for the traditional tagine. This restaurant was the recommendation of local friends, and it didn't disappoint.

We used to go to Maghreb regularly but moved away and returned to meet a friend in March 2012. The tagines were gorgeous, especially my duck one but the lamb shank and chicken ones my partner and friend had were all very good too. We will definitely be back!

I've been there with my boyfriend,we took the lamb tajine and couscous,both were verytasty.The food is excellent and the waiter was very friendly and the owner aswell.I recommend this restaurant if you like oriental food.

I've been there on thuersday night and the restaurant was not crowded at all, maybe it is for this reason or not but we have been served in a very satisfying way. The food was excellent, light and fresh, expecially the grilled marakesh platter. I'll go there again for sure. Well done!

Can't really say that I like Moroccan food that much, but Maghreb impressed me quite a bit. Both the meat tagine and the vegetarian one were very tasty. I actually ate better here than in Marrakech!! Very friendly and attentive service. Quick too. We came here on a Tuesday, so they were not too busy, maybe that helped. Anyway, recommended.

This is a cosy, welcoming place with great food, very reasonably priced. I always have the lamb shank or fish tagine as both are really superb.

The couscous lamb platter was ok, but our food took way too long to come out. Not sure I'd go here again.
