Maggie's in Barnsley

Oh my goodness the food is delicious, I had a burger and it was proper beef patty. The portion was large. We also ordered a mixed grill, it came in a large foil tray, definitely enough food for 2 maybe enough for 3! The Food was fresh and came hot. Delivery driver was very friendly and polite. Will definitely be ordering from there again.

I had a delightful experience at Maggie's Cafe today. The full English breakfast was cooked to perfection, and the cookie dough latte complemented it perfectly. The warm welcome and friendly service added to the overall positive atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Every Friday four of us have breakfast and the service delicious food is allways good highly recommended Maggie katie and Cathy are very welcoming.

We discovered Maggies a couple of years ago now and have been regulars ever since for many different reasons. Firstly, the food is great. Nothing too fancy but what they do is very good home cooked food with daily specials and a lovely breakfast cooked with care and not just thrown on a plate. Secondly we go because of the welcome we get. Maggie, Katie and team are all so friendly and have really made us feel very at home every time we call. Thirdly, they are dog friendly and that is a real bonus around our area. They give our dog Ted a doggie sausage for free every time we go in and he now pulls us there when out walking. Lastly, they are such a supportive establishment in the community. Always raising funds to help those on the estate in different ways, they host events all through the year for the young, old and in between in Monk Bretton and it is a really lovely community hub. Thanks to the team for their ongoing kindness.

We have been coming to maggies every week since our girls were babies and it never disappoints. The breakfast is always spot on and the atmosphere in the cafe is lovely. We are really lucky to be in walking distance to this lovely place.

The cheesecakes here are sensational so much so I do a 30 mile round trip for them! It's not only the cheesecakes I've also eaten in and again the food is incredible. A very warm inviting cafe that's well priced and the quality is always there!

Been here today we had a breakfast, it was really nice sausages was gorgeous. Only thing was you had to pay 70p per item which is reasonable for bacon sausage ect but I think it’s steep for beans and tomatoes. I think it should be set price for a breakfast but that’s my opinion it obviously works. I saw specials on board they was good prices for a meal, cakes ect looked yummy. Staff was friendly. Cafe was clean.

What a lovely place, received a great welcome, with the perfect cuppa and a scrumptious piece of cheesecake. There such a great menu on offer. You can eat healthily or you can be naughty like we were but which ever you choose I can honestly say it will be tasty.I would highly recommend this place whether it's just for a cuppa or a meal your made to feel welcomed.

Went here with my husband for lunch one Saturday a couple of weeks ago. Lovely food, great quality and service was brilliant. Katie served us and was very friendly. My husband loves the coffee and he has called in since for lunch when he has been in the area. Really welcoming atmosphere, will be coming here regularly.

Come here pretty regular. Cafe is brilliant. Staff are out of this world, always have a laugh and a smile on there faces, bacon and sausage sandwiches are to die for with top Quality meats being used. Also lots of other options to choose from as well as the unbelievable cheesecakes. All washed down with a good old Yorkshire tea. Can’t beat it. Definitely recommended
