Madison's in Tower Hamlets

Aquí no hay distanciamiento social, termómetros presentes pero no utilizados. Sábado por la noche para mi cumpleaños con mesa reservada. Entrada: tuvimos que esperar para tomar el ascensor, pero la clientela parecía demasiado joven para que seamos honestos. Era como una discoteca e incluso mi hija de 23 años dijo que hacía demasiado ruido y nos fuimos a pesar de no tener otro lugar para mi cumpleaños. Muy decepcionado porque las fotos en línea se veían fabulosas.

Muy bonita vista y excelente lugar para conocer gente, muy buenas papas fritas (patatas fritas) y risotto de espárragos

Madisons es un encantador restaurante y bar en la azotea con una vista increíble de la catedral de la calle Paul, que se tira a la piedra. ¡Lo único para hacer de este espectacular lugar una experiencia aún mejor es el amable y carismático camarero Karim! Él siempre nos hace sentir muy bienvenidos allí y nada es tan grande como pedirlo. Él es servicial, amigable, informado y sin lugar a dudas es la personificación del servicio con una sonrisa. ¡Nunca es una visita decepcionante cuando Karim está trabajando!

Second order from here. No complaints of the first. On the second order, they forgot a main meal, which took 45 minutes to arrive (I live a 5 min drive from here) which meant obviously the rest of the food was cold. Food ok, but served the chips rock hard and brown, must have been refried 5 times! (Disappointed child). Only thing that concerned me is that if they could look at that and think that's acceptable, the standards can't be high at all. £30 wasted, with no true apologies.

I ordered knowing that the delivery time would be 60 minutes. Unfortunately, it took 1.25 hours to arrive. When it did, it was missing a diet coke (which came inclusive with a wrap) and a mint sauce (to go with an onion bhaji starter). I specifically asked the delivery driver if the drink was in the bag, to which he replied it was. It was just a sloppy experience that let the whole meal down.

Sadly one of the dishes we ordered wasn't in the delivery (another dish was). Which meant when it did arrive it was luke-warm. The quality of the food was a little below average and we wouldn't be likely to order from here again. I ordered a butter chicken (the dish that didn't arrive in the original order) and it was nothing like a butter chicken I have ever had - it was, in my experience 100% a korma. Which I do like, but this wasn't at all what I expected and while the chicken meat was decent the sauce was not up to scratch. Such a shame as its nice and local. The search for a great Indian continues...

food was lush, only one draw back the korma was too sweet (too much sugar/ coconut milk??)

Naga Chicken Tikka was amazing, would be ordering again. Would’ve given full 6 stars but did find other curries a bit sweet for my taste. Naan bread was fluffy and puri was good.

We have ordered twice now. Both times we have not been disappointed. Very tasty curries and the tikka paneer is great! Highly recommend!

Read reviews, decided to give it a go but was deeply dissapointed Ordered over £30 of food. Containers came open and dish spilt everywhere in bag. Contacted the takeaway , they rebuffed what i said and was told nothing can be done about it. Was even told the Manager will call back and try to compensate. What a joke! No one bothered to give a call. I would request you dinners to avoid this place.

A little disappointed this time... Samosa was beautiful as was my sag also and naan, but poppadoms, onion salad and chicken not very fresh. Ordered on a Wednesday.

It's been ages since ordering food from Madison's and boy have I missed it. Still the same great flavour and taste. Always a cut above the rest.

We ordered and the tarka dhall was missing from the order.. it took 30 mins for the missing item to arrive and when I continually called I was told it was on its way. The takeaway is a couple minutes drive so no idea what took so long and there was no care or apology when I phoned. I've used Madison's a few times and would love to use again but just disappointed with the way they dealt with something they got wrong.

Food was 2 hours late because of the Delivery Driver with only 1 update from the restaurant to say the food would be 5 minutes, which took another 30 minutes. Very disappointed as food was very cold.

Food was ok, but arrived later than they advised. Forgot to bring the dips we ordered. The chips were cold and tasted like they'd been cooked earlier and heated in the microwave

Service from the restaurant was great can't fault them however the food was not that great. This was my first time ordering from this restaurant and I was not able to eat the food as it was not to my liking. However I can't comment on all their food as I only ordered the mixed grill, lamb bhuna, king prawns n naan bread. Food could have been a lot better compared to others Indian restaurants I have eat in.

I love Madisons anyway but their tandoori king prawn garlic was my first attempt at a new starter, it was amazing!!!!

Authentic, flavoursome, quality food. Portions aren't large but enough. Onion Bhakti perfect . Chicken madras old school Indian at its best.

We received our food in good time, but we ordered a King Prawn Kalia and got a chicken Kalia instead.

It was delicious. Everything was hot, fresh and the flavours were a refreshing change

Food is good, but takes hours to be delivered (literally!)

Only thing was it arrived slightly cold. But other than that really good. Driver rang me to confirm where I was when he arrived. And the food was excellent! Can definitely recommend the tandoori!!

My flatmate and I love Madisons and are never disappointed. The chicken korma and saag paneer are fantastic, and the garlic rice is delicious!

Quality not quantity. The portions were not big but the food was big in taste. Considering we live close, food just warm. Still good though.

Food used to be lovely. Have been ordering here for a long time. Last few orders have gone down hill. Lacking in flavour and oily.

Excellent food but Just Eat offered a free bottle of wine which we did not receive; called the restaurant to ask about it and was passed around to several people -- none of whom spoke English fluently or knew about the offer.

Always on time & although I live in an apartment block & they still deliver to my front door without the usual begging needed to previous delivery drivers... I'm not lazy just easier than rounding up 2 children for a trip in the lift! Food was lovely only downer was the poppadoms were not fresh but still a great meal all in all

The delivery came a little late..but they called to say they were very busy..which was superb. I must say you can't taste the freshness in the food. I called them to say thank you for a wonderful experience. I would recommend anyone to eat from Madisons.

Tragically Bad..... Waited over an hour and when I did enquire about my order I was lied to by a member of staff who said order had already left. The manager eventually did apologise. The food was greasy and barely warm. Never again will I eat from here and I advise you to go elsewhere.

Order was delivered quickly. Food was delicious and tasty especially the tandoori chicken and prawn butterfly puri. Always order from here as there is a great variety of starters and mains to choose from. Definitely recommend you try the food as they are tasty! Staff are friendly and helpful aswell. Used to be great, Madisons has been poor the past couple of times we've used them. Delivery took over an hour and despite spending over £60 the free bottle of wine didn't come (although they came back with some after I called to complain).

I have ordered the same meal on many occasions and was shocked to find that the portions have reduced significantly - there was barely anything to the chingri and did not contain all the ingredients described. I request a full refund asap.

Ordered the king prawn madras. Juicy prawns but sauce lacking a bit in flavour. Vindaloo is better from here.

This is not the original Madison's I had loads of great meals from the food wasn't nice and was cold and greasy tubs half empty gutted as I loved the old madisons don't know what's happened but a real shame

I used to order frequently from a Madisons before. The food used to be good. This one simply seems to have borrowed the name. The quality is rubbish! Quantity of food was meagre. The boxes seemed half-empty.

Good quality, tasty food... They forgot the yoghurt dip for the poppadums (which is my FAVOURITE) so I gave them a quick call - the driver came back in no time at all and with an extra poppadum as an apology.

Onion bajis not very nice tasted under cooked everything else was nice

Absolutely dire. the pilau rice was awful, and by the time the delivery person got very lost took ages to deliver it was all cold. I wont be using them again

Ordered this after an amazing curry at Madisons Bow Quarter. Quick polite delivery. Got the set menu for 2. Poppadoms were missing, naan burnt on one side and too buttery, saag Bhaji also too buttery. Chicken dhansak and chicken ceylon tasted good. Small rice portion.
