Food came freezing unfortunately 😢

Way too many chips!! For the cost £14 for box and £4 delivery charge!! Should be much more chicken, not so good

The gyros are so good and incredible value for the amount of food. Had the pork with added halloumi. I don't understand why you choose anywhere else to eat in Glasgow Fort, they are by far the best food you can get there.

Because it was a stamp discount they have given me the smallest amount of meat, most was crispy ends. Disappointing from this place as I always order from here. Should be a normal fresh portion, or don’t offer the stamps at all

Our order came on time however food was missing, when we tried to call they had already closed for the night. This order was over £70. Very disappointed.

Lovely food, speedy efficient service

Gyros are great but I would like the chips separately as they just get in the way. Also the price increase in the gyros plates is a bit steep. From £11.50 to £13.50 in the space of a year! And a £2.99 service charge?? £32 in total for two meals for a takeaway is too expensive. Sort it out guys

Incredibly good and generous amount too. We got 2 mixed gyros and halloumi fries, of which we got plenty! They were seasoned gorgeously too. Very filling portions and incredible flavours. Can’t wait to return and would definitely recommend!!

Ordered lunch and delivery time was then given as 2hours 30mins after we’d ordered - eventually had to go and pick it up

Order extra meat with chicken plate x2 but honestly, box full of chips, really poor potion of meat, especially when you order extra meat . And it's not he 1st time. Anyway, the chip plate was tasty

Brilliant food as per usual but sent me a mixed plate instead of a mixed gyros. That’s the second time in a row you’ve done that. Don’t mind because the food is good but please be vigilant.

Always been a fan of this place for years and I hate complaining but they didn't read the notes on the order and it was a smaller portion than I've had for years from eating here so hopefully it was just a one off.

Came across this wee place randomly whilst at the Fort for the first time in years. Me and my other half each bought a chicken gyros that were around £6.90 and I've nothing bad to say! It was brilliant. Flat bread was nice and soft, chicken was super tasty, Yoghurt, onion and tomato all delicious and you could tell it was all really fresh! Portion size was great too. Staff super friendly. If you're there and don't want a full sit down meal and are sick of the usual greggs option I'd highly recommend to try this place!

No seasoning on halloumi or chips. Quite dry. Disappointing

Food was nice but just okay. Tried the falafel and mixed gyros. The mixed meat was so dry which is crazy for gyro meat. The falafel was nice enough. Texture was good but seasoning was meh. Overall if you’re searching for something filling and quick then go here. Otherwise can skip.

Vegetarian Gyros are not good at all. I tried Falafel Gyros and found them overly oily and bland, lacking any authentic Greek flavor.

It’s just wonderful to order food for convenience which is so fresh and tasty. And don’t forget a baklava for dessert xx

hardly any chicken in the gyro. I’m a tad disappointed as this is my favourite place to order. It may as well have been a chip gyro I ordered.

Great authentic Greek food, very tasty and the gyro was on point.

I was based in Greece (ATH SMI RHO) and I can hand on heart say this is the best Gyros outside of ATH. However some new recruits are there and their indifferent attitude and talking amongst themselves take away the whole atmosphere of a fantastic experience. Let the business down badly.

Me and my wife quickly popped to the Fort and decided to get a Gyros each while we were there as we had never had a MacTassos before & we love Greek food. I got a mixed Gyros and my wife had chicken and we both added Halloumi it was absolutely delicious! So satisfying but beyond anything else the service was incredible! We will never eat anywhere else now when we go to the Fort or in fact anywhere when a MacTassos is around!

I was very disappointed by the behavior of the staff... there are two girls who are very uneducated. and they make jokes at the expense of those who do not speak English well or who do not understand their unclear accent and dialect....

I ordered 2 gyros via Uber Eats and one of them had a wee stone in it that I felt under my teeth, where did it come from?

Hi, I would like a refund for the order please. I ordered whilst I was as at a customer site and providing lunch. After 45 minutes we contacted the restaurant and they advised no Just eat drivers were accepting the job. We waited another 10 - 15 minutes and were told again no drivers were accepting the job and they would have to deliver. When the food eventually arrived it was cold. This fault is with just eat and not the restaurant. I can’t remember the last time I used just eat but this was a terrible experience and embarrassing in front of a customer

If it would let me put 0 stars I would It’s saying it has been delivered but I dont have any of my food I am very disappointed.

I order regularly same order each time never been so disappointed paid extra for chicken and the portion size was very poor I can’t eat tomatoes so asked for them not to be added as they go to waste and thought I’d save them money but I won’t be ordering again what I received wouldn’t fill a child

Yesterday I bought two gyros (for £6.50) to take away. I saw from a distance that they were nicely packaged. And the packaging of these gyros is their only advantage. Both had meat only on the top and underneath there were only fries, a lot of onion and two small slices of tomato. They were actually fries with onions, not Greek gyros. I don't recommend this to anyone.

not happy tonight chicken was fatty plus cold and chips half cooked order 2x chicken girls for me and partner and couldn't eat these I've have orderd here befour but never had anything like this

Ordered at 12:57 and Food arrived at 15:47. You need to manage expectations better for delivery times. That being said, food was delicious and warm when it arrived

Delivery driver was shocking spent 45 mins back and forth on the phone trying to give him the address. Couldn’t figure out where the address was demanded I come to 149 instead of our address. Advised we would meet at the building next door to make it easier for him find but still wasn’t good enough

I went for lunch after seeing the rave reviews on Tiktok. Wish I never, the chicken was very fatty and I couldnt eat it. There was more fat than chicken (I got a gyro). Nothing special at all about the food. The staff were lovely however but food wasnt for me. Nothing particularly tasty about it, I was more concerned removing fatty chicken.

Food was delicious and portions were great .. highly recommend. Baklava had a bit too much cinnamon, couldn’t taste the pistachios, but still lovely.

As far as street food goes, this is pretty close to perfect. Bought 1 Gyro to try, loved it, went back and bought 2 more.

Staff are always lovely, and food is perfectly priced. Good veggie options, definitely one of the best food places in the fort!

OK, I have it 5 stars for a street cart. However, I hardly got within 15 ft of the cart when the banter started. For a street vendor, the whole experience was better than some restaurants I've been to🤣😂🤣.

MacTassos never disappoints. The gyros was fresh, tasty and prepared exactly as requested. Just Eat struggled to find a driver though, so my order was delayed until closing time of the venue, and had to reheat the food. None of the friendly driver's fault, though.

Ordered 4 items and only one item came & is now closed. Will not be ordering or collecting again.

Absolutely amazing Greek food, staff are always so friendly, got the chicken gyros platter and it was so tasty. The portion sizes are fab, prices are cheap for what you get but the quality is always top notch. Always visit here when I am at the Fort, nowhere else here is a patch on MacTassos.
