Having been a customer for approx. 10 years the standard has greatly fallen over my last 2 visits. I live 12 miles away and always visit for various things but the cafe has seriously gone downhill. Our favourite was always Coffee and Bacon rolls in the morning after shopping however the last 2 visits have seen us being served cold and burnt bacon, Today it was burnt bacon cold and bacon that I could not even chew and that was after it had been replaced. Result was both my wife and I left them on the plates and left. I am extremely sorry to post this but you need to get a grip.

Traditional Scottish bakery and cafe. Popped in mid afternoon for tea and cakes. Friendly service with little touches that show care for the customer e.g scissors to cut open these tricky little sachets of sauce (although the health and safety police might disapprove). Warm, comfortable atmosphere. Well worth dropping in or takeaway.

As their cafe does not accept dogs we opted for the takeaway and what a choice. Fine Scottish breakfast wraps with Lorne sausage Haggis beans and hash brown - amazing - and sides of tattie scones if you wanted! A tasty cake and 2 coffees and change from a tenner - what’s not to like.

Dropped in for lunch during a long drive. Hard to see if it is table service or not as the 'order at counter' notice had bright light behind it. I was not greeted by any member of staff and was ignored at the ordering point for almost 5 minutes, I nearly went elsewhere, and only had my order taken when I finally managed to attract attention. The food was tasty enough, not very hot, but that meant it was quick to eat. Sadly it came with chips and a sad, boring salad that I didn't want and covered in finely diced onion, which I cannot eat. It was fun trying to remove it all.I didn't even attempt to get it heated as I needed to get back on the road.At £8 odd for black coffee and mac and cheese it was expensive for the overall experience.

We visit the Larder each summer on our west coast trips. We opted for two savoury and two sweet pies to takeaway. One smoked haddock and cheese sauce, one chicken and haggis with sauce, one peach and apricot and one apple and blackcurrant. The smoked haddock pie was amazing, the best ever. The pastry was lovely too. I’ll definitely keep my eye out for this tasty pie on future visits. The chicken and haggis pie was lovely too, both pies moist and packed with filling, great sauces in them. I’m not keen on sweet pies but we enjoyed them too. The peach and apricot pie was perfect for me. Price wise the savoury pies are about right for the weight. No shortage of fish and meat in them.

We know the Tongue area very well, and like to eat locally, so it was obvious we would decide to eat at the Craggan, and i'm happy we did! The restaurant area is welcoming and clean, staff friendly, and the car park was easy even with a big van. The only problem was choosing from the menu! So many tasty things - i wish we had more time to visit again.. All three of us enjoyed our food, and we shared everything so i know it was all delicious. Thank you for making a rather wet evening so special..

Dirty tables. Dirty menus. My daughter was served a mouldy panini. Cheese in panini was plastic. Very dry tasteless cheese scone. Drinks not too bad.

It was such a pleasure to visit this cafe and a welcome contrast to the pre-paid accommodation ran by some racketeer at Ivy Cottage. We took one look at what was on offer and fled to next ferry to Mallaig. I went to school in Inverie in 1948- 49. when the priest had an affair with our teacher. He wnt on to become bishop of the Westrn Isles while she became an un-married mother
