Relaxing and enjoyable, of which my wife or daughter always finds something to buy :). The play centre is excellent for very young.

We ordered 2 normal drinks and was charged for to mugs at over £4.00 each. When I queried it I was told I didn't say I wanted regular. I wasn't given he choice though and was not offered any money back.

Great for kids adults and everyone there's loads to see and do great place to shop brows. Great wee cafe sell lots of food and drinks there's also an indoor kids play area where you can feed your little ones and toilet facilities available 😀

Could have spent a fortune the range of clothes and household goods was amazing will definitely be back

Hi been here a few times before, unfortunately my wife picked here yesterday for lunch, Table 31, I ordered a coffee, tea, chips and gravy, steak pie and chips and a roll with butter £22 odds. On sitting down my chips and gravy was freezing, i ate nothing, I asked my wife how her steak pie was (if you find the steak that is,) the pastry was horrible an not cooked in the centre. All in all it was appalling, I will never be back feel as though I was ROBBED of £22. On a lighter note the tea was hot and nice.

I've never been so disgusted and upset! You couldnt just let him finish the session! Went to mackinnon mills soft play (Treetop tumble) My wee boy has autism and an intellectual disability. He films his day on his ipad and doesn't go anywhere without it. This is his comfort and special interest. Now I FULLY understand that treetop tumble has a sign outside of the soft play regarding no adult photography policy. However, they have for WELL OVER A YEAR , allowed my son to film himself coming down the slide etc. If they had a very strict stance on this the first time we went, I'd have obviously never brought him back. Simple. I even brought it to THEIR attention the first time we went, as he ran in with it and I noticed the sign, so I let the staff know what he was doing and that he had ASD etc to which the staff said "awk its ok" He's not interested in anyone else, just filming himself. But nonetheless, they allowed this, hence why we started going there. Until today. I booked two sessions and lunch for him. He was happy running around and filming himself but another parent/individual complained about him having an ipad (turns out it was a staff member) . I COMPLETELY understand this. However, I tried to explain the situation to staff and at the very least I hoped they would let him finish his session then we could leave. Mostly to avoid my son having a meltdown and causing massive upset around us. However, they said he couldn't have the ipad. So, that was the session over for us. This took 4 days of planning and preparing him only to have to LITERALLY drag him out because he had no understanding of not being allowed to use his ipad when he has done, so many times before! I have proof of that. He screamed and kicked me and flipped out completely as I had to physically drag him out. They kept insisting I could stay but as I repeated to them, he cannot stay without the ipad! They could have compromised with us, given the circumstances and past track record of what they had allowed! They could have just let him finish and we would have never come back. But instead, I've had to watch my son, hit, bite himself and take a panic attack at home. Im physically hurt, as is he and utterly traumatised. You absoloute scum. As for the person with the issue, if you had come to me I would have explained this to you, finished our session safely and left. When I did try to explain it to one staff member ,she was all apologetic "don't leave I'll try sort this for yous" it was too late. By that point another not so empathetic staff member told us "not my fault, it's policy" and it was basically over for us. Either stick to the policy or don't. It was impossible to explain to him after all this time that he suddenly can't use it. My son will take DAYS to regulate from this. I'm disgusted, I actually ended up on the FLOOR with my child, you let all that unfold and did nothing! The whole shopping place watched as I had to drag him by everyone screaming, distraught. You absoloute monsters. Even the other parents were disgusted with how badly it was handled and no other parents had any issue. I've seen others in there with devices, not to mention your super fun mascot days where literally anyone could be in there taking pictures of their kids AND other peoples with the mascots during "photo opportunities" so, nah. Sort yourselves out. You handled it terribly. I'll never be back. May those involved have the life they deserve.

We get our fish supply's from here and my daughter loves the soft play. The soft play has a height restriction. The cafe while a little expensive is good.

Had the steak pie today and never had one so bad, worst steak pie I've ever had full of gristle

Three of us had the steak pie today tasted lovely but the meat was disgusting it was chewy full of gristle and what I call a junction boxes on 2 plates these are the bits that that ate normally cut off and put in the bin . At over £40 for 3 meals and 3 drinks it’s not a cheap meal for the rubbish you get . Very disappointing

We love McKinnon Mills, it has something for everyone from the bargain area to the fancy, exclusive stuff. There is a cafe / coffee shop on the premises. The one small niggle is that there are no sachets of condiments to have with your meal - you have to pay 10p for a sachet of tomato sauce. I felt ridiculous having to put a separate charge of 10p on my card because I don't carry cash and it never occurred to me that condiments wouldn't be complimentary with a meal.

Parking was ok, can get busy. Great variety of shopping outlets, for clothes home and decor, aquarium shop is great. Also has cafe and small soft play

Mum loves the shops and joe n mum love the steak pie while I have the lentil soup. Well worth a wee visit

Bit of a guddle, had to search through clothes to find things,other than that it was a very busy place with great bargains.

Attended cafe today, we travel from livingston as food is normally decent, unfortunately when in the queue today my friend observed a member of staff tasting food (looked like soup)with a spoon in the kitchen, unfortunately the staff then put said spoon back into the food, we decided not to order food and just walked away

Utterly disappointing this year at Santa's grotto.. where was the jolly santa from last year... he had charisma, life experience, and was wonderful with the children. Well worth the £12.50 for each child. This year's santa looked like they pulled a random young person from the street with no personality.. The lad was too inexperienced for the job of santa.He had no chat for the children .you need life experience to take on a roll like this. Shame on you Makinnon Mills for not making the experience magical for the children.. and the presents weren't so good either .my grandson wanted a dinosaur from santa and there were none. What Do most little boys want ...dinosaurs or trucks .. you need to try harder for next year .The money you make from the Christmas carnival you should be ashamed .

Wide choice of clothing and furnishings with some bargains to be had. Nice cafe serving wholesome food. There is even a play area for the kids.

3 adults and 2 kids, popped I for lunch at 14 15 on Sunday. Very little food available. They only had enough macaroni for one portion but they made it stretch to include a child's portion !. Only enough curry sauce for one portion. Chips and cheese had not been heated so cold cheese in too if the chips. The manager was not friendly at all and didn't seem to care when people walked out when they couldn't get food. Will not be back

Great Christmas experience for the little ones, great Aquatic centre, amazing choice of clothes, household goods,, furniture etc. Nice ideas for gifts and to top it all there was a sale on

Good variety of shops more for older generation. Fish shop at the back is great kids love having a look around there and feeding the pond fish(you need a pound coin) play area is good but watch your wee ones the gate is constantly left open with no one watching when the go to help in the cafe or even when there is someone at the counter Fish van outside now on fridays

Went for a look around as it was raining, and it has plenty of stuff in there, from clothes to sweets cards ornaments etc. And well known names edinburgh woollen mill to pringle etc we did buy afew things in there and stopped for a cuppa, nice treats too well worth a look around and not far from motherwell as thats where we were staying

Staff rude! Apart from young girl on coffee and till she was lovely my elderly friend asked for her to cut a roll in half and the cook abruptly said " how? Can you not cut it yourself" I explained that the knifes were not very sharp but she was very intimidating we won't be back

Staff in cafe extremely rude. Food on plate was served like a dogs dinner. Really don’t know how this bunch get away with treating the customers the way they do.! If you don’t like the job……try walking and give it to someone who can be pleasant to the customers .Certainly won’t be back !

We go there as Fishkeeper Scotland is located inside. Great for us as means we can browse at Fishkeeper see if anything we like, go for lunch with good variety of choices, food is always good, lovely cakes and treats and friendly helpful staff, it can be extremely busy but the staff are super efficient. Toilets are there and get parked easy enough but sometimes might have to wait a wee bit for a space at peak times as is so popular. Then we go back for our fish purchases. Always distracted by everything else in the different shopping sections and more often than not come away with something I hadn't went for. We travel through from Midlothian and so easy to get to off motorway.

Clothes are so old fashioned and overpriced. A lot of items available more so for overseas tourists visiting Scotland.

Loved it lots of shops in the one place plus eating places and things for kids definitely a great place to visit

Food quality has detriorated. £10 for fish and chips. Fish was not fresh, batter was overcooked n hard. Basically inedible. To top it all off, they now charge for Ketchup!!! Will not be returning

Good place to spend a few hours shopping, went into cafe asked for a coffee that was priced at £3 . Rang it up and said £3.50 I said it's only £3 she said with a bit of an attitude we always serve large. To which I replied well I only have £3 so I felt a bit awkward. Won't be going back to the cafe

Smashing wee shopping place ,lots of big name companies inside, I shopped in Pavers & Bonmarche staff in both very helpful as always, nice cafe with home made cakes & goodies, parking area excellent, worth driving from East Kilbride.

We had a nice small lunch 👍👍very tasty. The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. Customer service was exceptional 👍👍also had a great wee wander through the shops

We go here for the treetop tumble softplay , the shopping area itself is a bit sparse but there’s a good wee fish area with tropical , marine and pond fish. The softplay is a nice little place . We have found that parents don’t watch their children or atleast keep an eye on allowing them to leave the door open for other toddlers to escape etc . The softplay could do with a bit of a better clean but it’s not the worst , forever pulling my toddlers hand out of thick dust inbetween sections . We did ask about a dairy free lunch box so we could get the play and eat meal they do however I was told they weren’t able to which was a little disappointing .

In restaurant today was very disappointed with my meal. Panini was supposed to be ham, red onion& mozzarella. Still trying to find cheese and red onion was cut so thick it was very hard to eat also ham was the very minimum. Go to restaurant very regular and the quality of food going downhill.

Good range of homeware items, gifts, clothing, shoes, cafe/restaurant etc. Always usually find something here to buy. Recent visit I took Mum and she picked herself a nice coat which I got her for a Mother's Day gift. Friendly, helpful staff in here too. Only issue I have is idiots in the car park either going the wrong way round the one way system, or not stopping on the clearly marked pedestrian crossing to let people cross. Poor. McKinnon's itself is pretty good.

Visited last week for lunch with my elderly mother. Despite numerous staff members, we stood, ignored at the warm food counter for over 10 minutes. Once food order was made we moved to the till area for drinks and bill. The till suddenly went down and we stood there for 25 minutes waiting on the till re-setting. The boss was on the till (brunette, late 50’s, hair tied up with a pen stuck in it) had face like thunder, did not utter a considerate “sorry for your wait”. Was rude, arrogant and absolutely no manors. She verbalised to my elderly mother “it’s not her fault the till was not working and no use saying anything to her”. Boss should not work with the public, 40 minutes wait all in just to ORDER lunch.

This is a great hidden gem. Especially with the soft play - staff are absolutely brilliant and make you feel really welcome. I’m here weekly with my toddler and we both love it. Food is top marks too!

Great Fish Shop for all your acquarium needs. Also lots of other stores to explore. Nice dining area and lots of parking space

Popped in for breakfast, which was alright, had a wander round the various stalls which were offering up to 50% off, but on closer inspection 50% of a lot is still quite a lot, so no "real" bargains to be had

Large store with play area for children, good quality clothes, shoes, bedding, jewellery & lots more. The restaurant serves a selection of toasties, sandwiches & cooked meals. Reasonable prices. The toilets are close to the restaurant & on the level. No stairs to climb. Staff are very friendly & helpful!!

Was in for fish for wee fella, only shop I was in. (Fish shop) but has plenty of other shops with in. Clothes, crafts, furniture also cafe, great place for a gander.

We went to soft play, and my grandchildren had a great time. The lunch menu in Mckinnons for vegetarians was poor, so we went elsewhere.

Always enjoy shopping there but disappointed that the homeware department moved to the middle with less choices. When it was homewares at the front very inviting but clothing??? I have worked in retail for over 40 years and percentage of sales was over 50% on homewares

Visited on Sunday just after Christmas. Surprisingly quiet, so was able to have good browse about. Bought a few items which had been reduced and visited cafe. Cafe was ok but the food was not hot so that was disappointing Still worth a return visit.

Large indoor shopping venue. Huge variety of small stalls and shops inside. From sweets, trinkets, clothes, footwear and aquarium shop items. There is two café on site and a small children's soft play area. Really lovely place woth brand name items and other stuff. Huge car park. Wheelchairs friendly.

Ave never seen so much clothes in one place for sale I'm sure you will find an outfit in there caterers for everyone.

Right! Firstly let me start off by saying the steak pie was lovely BUT! The “boss” is rude and doesn’t care! We went to the fair with our wee guy then the cafe (not the bit at the soft play). I wanted 2 steak pie and a nuggets for the wee fella. There was one portion left of the steak pie and I said “can I wait for a fresh one” WELL! The “boss” did not like that! She rolled her eyes then said “ here’s your ticket, pay I’ve there! I said “I’m not done yet, don’t rush me away” her retort “done speak to me like that, I’m just serving you”! She was furious I asked for fresh food!!!! Food lovely, the “boss” not so much!!
