Ordered 2 Donor kebabs both were stone cold even though the distance was 3 minutes away from my house order was wrong whoever is doing online orders can clearly not read it clearly states on my order no salad on both kebabs and both came with salad

Usually get Haddock. Best fish in area and that includes Kilsyth and Kirkintilloch

I asked for a really cheesy pizza and I was given a pizza that was full of sauce

This used to be the best chippy years ago but has went down hill. Prices have shot up and food portions are smaller and standards have dropped. Could be doing with a deep clean. Staff wearing their work clothes to and from work poor hygiene when working with food.

charged £4.50 for a large chips but when it comes down to its an over priced small chips and of what I saw all the food.is over priced and won't be ordering from Angelos again

Due to working from home ordered to deliver. 5.45 after finished at 5.40, was delivered very early, driver could not have been more helpful was not his fault

Usually like an Angelos but it’s not the same on certain days Friday to Monday is class but mid week the batter is like concrete I avoid it now

Despite waiting 2 hours for our order to come! The food arrived and was clearly reheated. Batter was rock solid. Pizza was burnt. It was awful really.

The chips were good but the fish was mostly batter hardly any fish a joke

Called at 5:15 and was told the driver doesnt show up until 5:30, if you know the driver will be late then why take and make the order? Food was cold and milkshakes melted would have been decent warm

Food wasn’t too hot on delivery, and delivery quite long! Over an hour for one supper.

Despite leaving a note asking for all food to have salt and vinegar added and calling up to make sure they recieved the note as past notes asking for this have not been seen all food came bland with no salt and vinegar. Order took over an hour and a half and was late, despite this the pizza was undercooked and cold. Will probably not come back after being a customer for over a decade.

The chips were not nice at all some of them were hard and there was a lot of crusty chips my Granddaughter's kids meal her chips were the same won't be ordering any chips from now on

Ordered a tuna pizza, arrived early no complaints there, on opening box instead of tuna being evenly spread over pizza, just large chunks here and there, shouldn’t be hard to do an easy tuna pizza.

I asked for 2 Fritters and received Chips instead.

Food was greasy, fish wad tastless and I thought waiting 45 mins over delivery time was bad but seems like we got our food sooner than most. Angelos used to be an amazing chippy, don't know whats happened to it not the way I remember won't be ordering again

Went for a take away for our dinner. Easy for a Friday nyt. I had the chipsteak and the other half had the fish both.of us had chips. Thoroughly enjoyed our food and no washing up. What a bonus.

The last 4 times I've had a delivery from Angelo's it's been delicious. Much improved.

Ordered food at 19:00, approx delivery was between 20:00 and 20:20. At 20:50 I called to ask about delivery and expressed concerns about the quality of the food as it was sitting ready for so long. They advised that it would be fresh. Food delivered at 21:55 (nearly 3 hours after order was placed) and was clearly not fresh. Completely unedible. No explanation except that they were really busy. 3hr wait for unedible food is an absolutely appalling service. If they can't fulfil the orders then they shouldn't accept them. Definitely boycotted!!!

Absolutely appalling. The service was the worst part - someone needs to teach the 2 that work the phones some manners, first was a girl who hung up on us, and another boy who also hung up. No apology or anything and screamed at us down the phone that they were really busy… it’s a Tuesday night? Can’t be that busy. 2.5 hours later and no food and they’ve conveniently shut! Starving and angry and will be requesting a refund, would rather eat dirt off the ground than order from here again

Ordered a delivery from just eat ,2hours later and still hadn't arrived phoned shop to get a rude girl on phone , no apology just got told they were busy she hung up on me 20 minutes later phoned again and this time got a rude boy again no apology told me my order was on its way i asked him how to contact them as the shop closed in 5 minutes time he also hung up on me!! Delivery eventually arrived frozen cold . Appalling experience

Got sent out my order of my chips cheese and gravy and other things. Chips and cheese/gravy was absolutely a disgrace! Upside down, pouring out the side , cheese was no where near melted into the chips! Was absolutely rank will not be back!

Food quality good. First time.customer and last time customer. Website said upto an hour. 1hr50 mins later. And 2 calls to restaurant where staff attitude on 2nd call was diblorable. Explained first time customer and answer I got was oh well. And hung up on. If you can't cover your delivery area you set with your staffing levels cut it back. Not one for reviews but felt on this occasion I had to.

Can only get a decent meal from here when the owner is frying......both of the order's I received the batter is like a piece of leather literally had one bite and binned the lot could literally peel the batter off the sausage and the pudding. More care required!

Got a notification saying the drive was on route, food didn't shoe up until 25 minutes later, was cold and soggy. Burnt black bits stuck to the chips very disappointing

Food tasted great but is there a shortage of chips? For what I paid there should have been more chips. I think angelos need to reduce their prices since portions have reduced. Just called up and complained and the excuse was its because we don't use the plastic trays anymore. That's not an excuse.

I haven’t received it yet and I can’t get through to the chip shop! I phoned ten full minutes after the time and was told it was only getting made up. Why give out etas if you can’t keep to them? This happens too many times! I finally got through at 19:39, only to be told that the order was being made up and I would be next. 22 minutes later my order, which was just a bag of chips finally arrived!

When I ordered it was a 60 min wait for food, in total we waited 1 hour and 45 mins. Food was cold when it arrived and the portion sizes were small in comparison to other chip shops. Won’t order again!

Never use this place, food sent back, even the replacement was rotten.

Food arrived after two hours and was freezing! Pizza was squashed in the box and pepperoni burnt but cold!

Awful service took nearly 2 hours for food to be delivered and then order was wrong. Rang shop and argued that that was what we ordered. Food lukewarm and small portions. If I could have given no stars I would. NEVER order from here.

Deliver was suggested as 45 mins to an hour, it took over 2 hours and then was missing a bottle of vinegar. Checked with driver before he left and he confirmed he didn’t have it. Called the shop to be told it’s in the bag, well sorry if it was int he bag why did I call. The young girl asked the boss I can only assume and he screamed it’s in the bag, I said no it’s not. He then screamed we will get the driver to check the car and drop it off. This order was on Saturday, it’s now Tuesday. No refund or vinegar delivered. Terrible service might only be just over £1 but it’s the principle and the screaming across the shop for a customer to be able to hear on the phone it shocking!! Food was just warm and no more.

Ordered fritters and 1 single fish, waited over 2 hrs for it to be delivered. After an hour and a half I called and it was out with the driver, therefore, not knowing when it actually went into the delivery car, it was at least 30/40 minutes before it was delivered, sure enough it arrived look warm at best, terrible service, for poor to average food at best

Waited 2 hours for delivery after 1 hour and half called shop and was told it was out for delivery, which means it was 30 mins in car and wasn't very hot. Poor for a small order.

Changed my opinion on this one, gave it a bad review before, since trying again it was OK this time round.

Food was late, it was later even than the revised time they chose when it turned out they hadn't prepared our food (apparently) until after their initial delivery time. When it finally arrived it was ok. Not great, ok.

Friday night, I get it but.. delivery taken 2hrs, food cold and stinkin, juice missing - meant to bring it and never. Called back, hung up then ignored calls.

Not worth the near enough £30, food was awful, items were missing, nearly a tenner for a fish supper with one bit of fish, not a bad thing tbh because it was rotten and no salt and vinegar on anything. Not ideal and probably won’t ever order again

The delivery driver needed us to direct him turn for turn to our house, because he has the wrong address. He then gave us someone else’s order. Eventually got our food that was cold. It had been in the back of his fiesta for what was clearly a very long time. Never again.

The chips were that hard you could break windows with them. Not for the first time either.

Pepperoni pizza overcooked and dry. Also lukewarm. Large Chips not very large Large gravy is tiny Haggis fritters are good and still hot. 30 minutes late also.

We have ordered from Angelo's before, and is normally our go to chippy. We placed our order for a specified time about an hour before we requested the delivery arrive. Despite this, the order was 45 minutes late. This did include two calls to the restaurant to check, and both times being assured it would be there in 10 minutes, which was not true. Apparently the first time, someone ticked the wrong button to say it was en route when it wasn't. We will probably order from them again, becuase we like the food, but if we have a similar issue, we may have to start looking elsewhere.
