The food is exceptional. Fab quality and really tasty. I love the lasagne! The staff are wonderful and go the extra mile every time. We love our takeaway days when Lynnies is involved.

I came back for breakfast. i ordered a bacon and sausage roll. Service was friendly and the food decent. However, the staff weren't wearing face shields (unlike Bowers cafe around the corner). There is hand sanitiser on the way in but could do with being more prominent. I did see the staff using their own hand sanitiser though.

Just came here for a quick coffee after some shopping in town. A latte was only 1.60. There's seating outside. friendly service. I must come back to eat here one day.

Popped in here one lunchtime, as I just wanted a quick bite to eat. I cannot fault the variety and choice of food on offer. I really was spoilt for choice. The ladies serving were all very friendly and I was served quickly. It’s actually quite small inside, it seems to get very busy, and I can imagine it may be difficult to get a seat at peak times.Worth a look if you are in town shopping.

I have eaten in here many a time and love the poasta Stuff they do - twinged with Bacon to make an English-Italian Combo!!It is really tasty and how they 2 differing size portions is spot on - I have never failed to be impressed here. How people can moan over Lynnie's is beyond my thinking! It's just a shame there is no Room for even a small toilet - is my only downer on the place, if you can even call it a downwer. Add to the above very friendly polite Staff too 9always, which can fluctuate in other cafes etc I find with differing staff and shifts) but never here in Lynnie's!!

Having been twice before we decided to go again after the afternoon at the theatre. At 5pm it was rowdy and the service was terrible. It was full of groups doing bottomless brunch. Not a suitable place for a family to dine. The swearing and behaviour was terrible and the restaurant didn’t do anything to control it or to keep families separate. Waited 15 mins to order drinks and another 10 mins is for them to be served. Amongst other things we ordered king prawns in shells… no napkins, no finger bowl. We had to ask twice for a napkin. Meanwhile our prawns went cold. We also ordered a pasta dish with chicken. The chicken didn’t come. So had to ask for that. When it arrived I’d finished the pasta and was left with chicken. We ordered two aperol spritz - they tasted like soda with hardly any aperol and certainly no Prosecco. They did correct them and they were then nice - but it’s not that hard to make a nice aperol. Service was slow on top of the mishaps. The staff are all barely out of school and just don’t care. One positive was that the food was nice. I wouldn’t return unless they sorted the staff out as I think this is what the issues boil down to. The staff they’ve chosen and the lack of management is going to unfortunately ruin the reputation of this nice restaurant. Rethink the bottomless brunch/decide what you want to be. You can’t be both a nice classy restaurant and offer bottomless brunch - not at least without separating the two and having some noise control.

We visited Bawtry and stopped at the Crown for Breakfast, wow we were impressed the breakfast was not only great value at £11.95 but the flavour of each individual item was really good, the sausage and bacon was good quality and the poached eggs cooked right. we will definately be back. i believe it was the chefs first day so we did send feedback in with the staff. i hope it made his day brighter
