Lymm Indian in Warrington

I have always been huge fan of this Indian best in Lymm village I ust to say, not anymore food tasteless and watery will not be giving them my custom again. Gone very down hill the restaurant

Went for a meal this evening. The food was absolutely delicious and service was great. Staff were pleasant and fun. Attentive but not intrusive. It was early so very quiet but clearly doing a good takeaway turnaround too

Extremely upset at the quality of food. Normally when you see a bad review it’s about the service or waiting times however this is about the abysmal quality of food. Mine and my partners family came here as they do once a year to meet up, it was an embarrassment. We looked at the menu online and most of us wanted spicy curry’s, none of them had any spice in whatsoever. Can’t explain how disappointed we all were. We come here to have tasty authentic Indian dishes and our most recent experience couldn’t be any further from the truth. Regretting paying for the meal now wish we’d have refused and walked off. We were the only people in the restaurant 6.30-8.00 so you would’ve expected top quality. Safe to say we will never be returning. Extremely disappointed. Go to spice lounge!

We had a takeaway with friends visiting from out of town. They were very impressed with the quality of the food. Consistently good Indian food from this restaurant.

Popped in after visiting local pub, nice friendly staff, had stuffed pepper starters, then chicken madras and dansak with beers, both were excellent, definitely return, highly recommended

Wow, I ordered a meal for the three of us on new years eve at 5:30pm to arrive at 8:30pm. I rang back to ask where it was at 9:30pm , not really picky, was told its at the end of my street. After another 15 mins I rang back to be told " what's wrong with you people". I paid upfront, via paypal, and not allowed to ask where my food is 1 hour later than the delivery time. Very rude on the phone. go somewhere else............

Went last night for a meal with my partner. Got to say the food was really good.... when we got it. Service was dreadful. They seemed more concentrated on the takeaway service that the restaurant customers. By far the worst was the lack of COVID distancing and numbers. There was a group of 8 men on a night out, 3 groups of teenagers jus walking about the restaurant with no masks. Tables are far too close. The waiter we had admitted to us he was just a taxi driver that had had his cab stolen and was filling in! He pulled his mask down when serving us. To top it all the hand written bill was presented and was £30 over the actual amount. As I said pity the food was nice. WONT BE GOING BACK SOON!!!

It was my first take away from here, and my last. I know it was called a spicy green masala,but I didn't expect it to be an un natural bright green colour. Very salty. No thanks.

Beware of scam We went for a meal last night the menu is on the table when paid the bill it was a few quid over the menu price they told I had ordered off the take out menu but that was the only menu on the Table but that was the menu on every bodies table if they do that to every bodies they are making a few extra quid Naughty we wont be going again P.jarman

went for dinner this evening. Menus on table, waiter advises that the prices on the menu differ from the actual prices. True prices were at least £3 a dish more. Taking advantage of unsuspecting families by charging more. No one would be benefiting from the “eat out to help out”........ well apart from the money grabbing restaurant!! We just got up and left once we’d realised what they were up to, they didn’t get a chance to exploit us NEVER GOING AGAIN

Food was lovely and staff very friendly. However, it was very busy due to the “eat out to help out” scheme and we had to wait about 40 minutes for our table. Only downside is that the bill was about £7 more than it should have been under the scheme.

We booked a table for 8.30pm. Arrived to see two other tables worth of customers also with reservations waiting outside. We all stood outside being ignored by staff. Finally got inside restaurant to waiting area after around 20 minutes, still one table ahead of us, no apology from staff. They took drinks order and after a further 20 minutes there was still no sign of drinks nor us getting the table nor any sort of acknowledgement or apology from staff that we had a reservation for 40 minutes earlier. In fact they seemed to be ignoring the situation, as by this time 2 further tables of customers with reservations (but no tables) had also come to the restaurant. There was also no sign of any distancing, cleaning, contact tracing etc So we abandoned Lymm Indian after 40 minutes and went to Sahib where we had a lovely meal. So disappointed, wanted to support Lymm Indian but now don’t think I will ever go back.

Curry was fit . Popadoms were good. Garlic cheesy naan bread was very delicious. chips were delicious

We placed an order for delivery, paid online and when it didn't arrive we asked why They fobbed us off, promised a refund and three weeks later, nothing. We'll not be using or recommending this place - incompetent and untruthful. Shame.

We had a delivery tonight. It was so easy to order and pay online. The delivery arrived on time. Food piping hot. Gorgeous poppadums and starters. Delicious main courses including tarka dahl... which was just right. All in all ten out of ten Cannot fault. Thank you!!!!

Had a delivery last night, really easy to order in advance on their website. Service was brilliant and the food was outstanding. Eaten in the restaurant many times but first delivery / takeaway. Fabulous 👍

Great food and Service! Odered Salmon and Vegatable Rice, it was exremely tastful and very good!The Service was very good and the choice on the menu also. The prices where also very very reasonable!

I’ve eaten here many times before and it’s ok; not the best, but passable. On this occasion I really fancied a King Cobra, a premium lager that comes in in a champagne style bottle, complete with cork. I’ve drink this beer many times before. In Zouk Manchester I’d typically pay £8.95. So you can image my horror, when the bill arrived after a pleasant meal, to discover that these guys were charging £19.95 for ONE bottle!! I hadn’t looked at the menu as I knew what I’d wanted, so the price came as a huge shock. When I asked them about it, they simply told me it’s what one pays for a premium lager. I protested, pointed out that other restaurants charge around £10 a bottle and that one can buy the same beer in Tesco for £5.50, but they weren’t interested in solving the issue. I couldn’t be bothered arguing, instead, I’m simply warning you to avoid this place. On the basis that they knew they were ripping me off and they knew I knew too....but they did nothing about rectifying the situation. It’s also worth pointing out, that they upsold me to the most expensive meal on the menu, when I asked for a recommendation... more than twice the cost of my friends meal!! So, the upshot is it appears this restaurants only objective is to fleece its customers. We’re blessed with Indian restaurants in Lymm, so do yourself a favour and choose one of the other two.

First time at LYMM INDIAN. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food was delicious. All in all a lovely hidden gem. We will be back again, well recommended.

My son told me about Lymm Indian and said it was really good but the service was slow. So we thought we would try it and booked a table for two It looked busy when we arrived, we told the waiter we had a table booked he looked anxious and went and got another employee we were then told that they had our booking but some of the previous guest had turned up late so they could not accommodate us.This is obviously not true as if they were running late it would have been just a case of a drink at the bar or asked if we could come back later, I would much rather be told the truth

We booked a large table for a birthday and the service was excellent. I'm not into Indian food but really enjoyed my dish. Everyone in the group loved their meals too. Definitely reccomend this restaurant.

The Staff are brilliant and the restaurant itself has a great vibe. One member of staff, called imi, in particular was really helpful and despite me messing my order up, was really patient, polite and sorted it all out for me. Really recommend this place!! 5*

What a gem this place is! We drove from Somerset to surprise her daughter on her birthday and we ate at this wonderful Indian Restaurant. Probably the best Indian meal we’ve had. Great staff and the food is superb especially loved the Afghani sauce! Top quality ingredients cooked to perfection in healthy dishes. What more can you wish for? Definitely coming back on our next visit to Lymm

Visited on Sunday evening, didn’t book and had no problem getting a table. Right from the outset, the staff were very courteous and really looked after us very well.

Very good customer service. Was given free drinks, a replacement meal and discount on the bill after complaining about the lack of lamb in the curry And the naan not as described. The food was average.

First visit to Lymm Indian, what a delight it was. Friendly, courteous staff and the most amazing food. Everything served perfectly and steaming hot. The Green Masalla is absolutely astonishing. Honestly can't recommend this resteraunt highly enough. It's worth every penny. Thank you

Great evening here. Sadly there was no alcohol licence in place. So we ordered food and then I dashed out to buy a couple of cobras from Sainsbury's in the square. £6 saved ! Poppadoms food. Pickles nice. Mains were excellent. Friends Dhansak v tasty. My chicken flambé was good. Delivered with a fiery flourish. Peshwari naan was excellent. Lovely evening. Will return !

Food was very fresh and tasty! Staff were very helpful and nice. They even found out we weren't from around there and were visiting on holiday and gave us a drink on the house! Didn't have to, because we definitely loved it anyway, but this was the cherry on the cake! Going back for sure!

We went as a group of 3 and everybody really enjoyed the food that they had. Even my dad who doesn't really like curries said he would go back to this Indian restaurant again. The waiters working there were very professional and on top of everything from what we could tell. We were all really impressed and will be returning again soon.

This is a place to visit. The food was SUPERB. I father it was the owner as head waiter as he really knew his food. Explained with passion the food difference. Service from the two waitresses were lovely.

Another great meal with Naz and the team this evening. Fine food, friendly service excellent host. What more can you ask for.

We have been visiting Lymm Indian at least once a week for over a year now. We often have a takeaway on a Thursday and generally try something new off the menu each time. Everything so far has been brilliant. Naz and his team are friendly and attentive and the food is always top notch. Latest hit is the Lamb Korai Shashlick , very very good. Keep it up guys and see you next week .....

This restaurant is fantastic! We go in a lot and have never left there without saying so! Naz and the staff are so polite, friendly and attentive and it is always our pleasure to visit! We look forward to it and never come out disappointed! The food is amazing and is always served promptly and with a smile. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and we honestly couldn’t fault a single thing! It really is excellent in every single way!

this is a proper gem of a place, but can be a victim of its own success. I have been a couple of times and booked tables but both times I've had to wait. Because it is so popular you at the weekends the service can be slow but if you bear that in mind, and don't expect fast food, you'll be fine. They also do take out and you'll notice a LOT of food being sent out to-go which can be slightly frustrating as you've actually come out to eat. But Hey having said all that the quality of the food is worth all of that and I will certainly be going back, but I'll probably avoid the weekends.

We moved to Lymm about 10 months ago and were worried we wouldn't find an Indian Restaurant as good as the one near our old house. How wrong we were. This is one of the best Indian Restaurants we've been to. Naz & Jay are always on hand to help you choose something to your palate. It is a bit hotter than your average Indian but they will always advise if you tell them what you like. I can't recommend it highly enough.

Booked a table for 11 people. We spent over £200 and had a good night, until at 11pm they opened the door letting in cold air, and left it open so that we became really cold, forcing us to leave. As we don't often stay out late (we have children), this was a celebration with family and a sister and her son over from Canada, we didn't feel it was right to push us out when it was well before midnight. Other restaurants in Lymm wouldn't do this so obviously. I have never written a review before about a restaurant, but I felt I wanted to warn other diners that if they want to stay out late, then this is not the place for you! Oh and the chairs are really uncomfortable. Springy and odd.

Food was varied and tasty, although service was very slow considering the restaurant wasn’t full, also the seating is very uncomfortable, more than one of our party commented on that, supposedly new chairs are on order and they can’t come soon enough. Overall it’s the food that matters and that bit they have right.

This restaurant is fantastic, I enjoy the food, atmosphere and staff each time I visit. They are so helpful if you are not sure what to it and equally brilliant with the children. Well worth numerous visits.

Four of us visited last Saturday. We had made a reservation which was a good job since it soon became very full. There was a very good atmosphere - the restaurant was buzing. We all had different food and all agreed it was excellent. I particularly rate the bhajis followed by chicken Rogan Josh. Service was very good and the Manager/Owner was very friendly and attentive. All in all a very enjoyable experience. We will be back. Warning - if you are going on a Saturday do make a booking.

A moderately busy evening, and very warm welcome. Lovely rose petal decoration in the windows and on the tables, very Romantic. The food was stunning thank you. We enjoyed some of a wide selection of Gins. The service was very good. Thank you for the Rose on my way out and Chocolates very nice touch.

As always the food was exceptional, and nice touches with a rose and gift for my other half, along with a brilliant atmosphere.

We booked a table as we had been told this was busy, and had good food reviews by friends we wanted to try it.

Booked for 8pm and we arrived on time to people waiting out of the door. We were asked to come back in 20 minutes as they were running ‘a little late’. We duly went elsewhere for a drink and went back at 8.30 only to be told that the table still wasn’t ready and I would be ‘at least another 50 minutes’ before the table was ready.

What a lovely restaurant this is. We found it to be friendly, inviting and very clean. The staff were obliging without being overbearing and were happy to offer advice on the food they sell. The meals were fresh and piping hot and we would definitely go back.

Group of 6 of us ate here on Saturday night. Bit of a wait for the table as it was so busy. The food was delicious, fresh and full of flavour. Sauces quite rich and oily but tasted great. My seat had no springs left and could have done with replacing but doesn't really matter if the food is good.

Have visited several times and also had takeaways. Never had a bad meal. Excellent food and service. You can be guaranteed a warm welcome with very friendly staff. Not a huge amount of competition but definitely place to eat in Lymm village. Highly recommend!!

Food is second to none. Service is excellent and staff are really helpful and friendly. Love it here. My favourite of all time.

The food here was excellent, we had starters and main courses and the portion sizes were very generous. I choose the garlic chicken from the healthy option and it was very nice and not greasy. I choose a separate sauce to accompany the meal and this was very flavoursome. The staff are very friendly and polite, and take time to talk to you and and discuss your menu choices if you are unsure of the strength of the curry spices and if there are certain things you dont like.

Had a cracking meal here last Sunday! Waiters were very attentive and the food was lovely. May seem a little expensive but well worth it and will definitely be going back! I assume there are lots of people who feel the same as we went at 5pm on Sunday and it was surprisingly busy!

Attended the restaurant with two other couples. We were unaware of the two hour table limit but this didn't spoil our evening with us table hopping as we finished our evening. The staff were excellent, food was very very good & I would not hesitate in going back to this charming venue.

First time I have tried this since the place change hands and was rebranded. It’s a massive improvement on the old restaurant, fabulous food and great service. The staff went out of their way to explain dishes and make recommendations. If you haven’t been give it a try.

4 of us went to alum Indian, absolutely gorgeous dinner, gorgeous comfy restaurant buzzing atmosphere! Definitely the best Indian in Lymm.

Lymm Indian is absolutely outstanding, the food is amazing, the service is great, pricing absolutely spot on. Great atmosphere, always people eating in there when you walk by. Must have been 4 times in the last month. Menu choices/options are fantastic, I've had different choices everytime, if you're unsure on what curry you want just ask the guys there and they recommend something based on your likes and what rice and naan best compliments your curry.

The food was wonderful and so were the staff. The atmosphere was buzzing and the restaurant was busy.

We had a lovely meal, good service and pleasant drinks. I tried the mixed Thawa and it was scrumptious. Nice touch as we were leaving as staff invited us for a liquer on the house!

Naz, Jay and the rest of the team are a credit to this restaurant. They make you feel welcome and nothing is too much trouble. The food is absolutely sublime and I am yearning for one of their curries as I am writing this review. As I live in Germany it’s a real treat to visit the Lymm Indian when I am over.

We made our first visit here and found friendly service, delicious food and a really well considered wine list. What a great place - will definitely be back.

Whether dining in or having a takeaway (we do both frequently!) Lymm Indian is truly exceptional. Naz, Jay and the team here have got it spot on. The restaurant is a million times better than its predecessor. Long may it continue. Thanks guys!

Visited on Tuesday about 10 other customers and had an excellent time. The Cobra on draft was cold and tasty. Popadom s and chutney s fresh and the best chicken dupiaza ever. Highly recommended and the service was first class. Well done to all concerned.

Visited again last Sunday, our favourite place for Indian cuisine, always friendly & efficient service and always with a smile, food is superb and cooked to perfection every time, my fave has to be the spicy green masala which I had this time, onion Bhajis are spot on...crispy and so tasty, nice thin naan bread and ice cold Cobra, what more could a girl possibly want, highly recommend Lymm Indian ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
