Extremely small portions- way more expensive than a usual Chinese restaurant. The food is ok but small portions and barely any meat in the dishes which supposed to have meat in them. The Jasmin tea is almost twice as much than other places. Also they charge the tip on your bill already. There are way better places to eat in Kanab.

I had the most delicious takeaway breakfast this morning. Just what I needed. Cooked perfectly. Well packaged, so there was no spillage! The young lad who served me was very nice and polite.

I've tried this place on several occasions now, which is more times than I'd usually give somewhere which served up something as disappointing on the first visit. I've heard so many good things and read many good reviews that I assumed I must've got unlucky with timing. To say the food is awful is untrue, but it's certainly well below average. I'm genuinely unsure of how they manage to make such flavourless food on what seems a decent menu, other than a severe lack of seasoning to say the very least. Never had issues with delivery, but they need to get away from polystyrene boxes as it makes the food sweat and quickly become soggy. Also, if all you're going to serve is a shrivelled effort of a "side salad" don't even bother. Sadly I won't be bothering again.

We waited over 30 minutes for our food and not really worth it. My sandwich had gone soggy and had obviously been sat in a polystyrene box. I certainly won't be rushing back.

I must say the food is really quality and well cooked, however one never knows when they are going to be open for business. In fact recently they have sometimes only been open two days a week. We've now stopped going there soley for this reason

Used to love a sneaky breakfast when it was the witchy place. They had decent quality bacon & butchers sausages. Tried Lucy Lou’s twice now. Cheap poor quality ingredients. Won’t be back a third time.

Firstly we were warmly welcomed by Lucy herself at the cafe where we were sat down straight away. We were accommodated well even though we were arrived close to the closing time. The food arrived quickly and everything tasted amazing and fresh! And also at a great price!! Absolutely nothing to complain about!! Great work by the team and worth giving a go!! Would 100% recommend to anyone! Thank you so much and would definitely be visiting again soon!!

Called in a few days ago. Interestingly varied menu with my favourite sourdough bread and avocado. Veggi Breakfast and Full English both excellent, tasty coffee and wonderfully quick cheerful service. Highly recommended.

First visit and last visit. Don't know why my cousin took me there. It was supposed to be a good meal with family but nothing good about it. The burger is frozen the caesar salad was the worst I've had in my life. May be I'm not usee to this type of food but I dont think this is something I could even eat. The staff were nice but nothing that they could do. If you cant serve a burger with a fresh bread it's better for me to go to McDonald's

The pub is in a lovely spot, and has had a beautiful refurbishment, unfortunately that’s where the good points end. The food is shocking. Served on chipped plates for a start with an abysmal side of wilting and browning ‘salad’ - literal leaves, and undercooked chips with zero seasoning, Not even offered any salt. Asked for sauces and was supplied literally two tables spoons of ketchup between 2 people. I regret not taking a photo to share, but how anyone could serve that and think it was acceptable was beyond me. If you want to have a lovely meal at a pub with a great atmosphere, stick to The Oxford! I definitely will be in future.

10.10.24. Arrived for lunch. Starter was great and presented well ( see pic ) . Service : appalling. Cutlery for the main course was dumped on the table ( both sets dumped down together while the server walked off ) . Ordered a drink and had to wait 5 mins whilst staff were stood laughing and joking behind the bar ( the pub wasn't busy ) . Main course: i ordered gammon . The pineapple looked as if it had been been deep fried and was swimming in oil, the mushroom was under the gammon and looked disgusting . No one came over and asked how was our meal; if that had happened , I would have showed them my meal. Overall : terrible and never again . I've been coming to the Whitchaff for over 45 years and this was the worst meal I had ever had .
