Excellent breakfast ... reasonably priced and good service... 5 Stars

Had a nice gingerbread latte. Service was a bit slow though.

The food was ok it’s just your average food nothing special or tasty about it. The customer service was shocking, we had to ask for cutlery, didn’t get given any condiments and they’re dressed in joggers! I personally work in hospitality and wow the whole team need some good training. I came here as I’d heard good stuff about it but how people were wrong. The only good thing about the food was the chips so well done chef for that.

I could not reveiw food as we wernt offered a menu, service very slow, coffee terrible, no atmosphere looked scrufy, we left after our drinks and went somewhere eles, won't go back.

Terrible food manners and service. My mum went today and the potato was hard and cold. They took it away, haf to wait a long time, other lady shevwas wjrh haf finished. Brought back, still as bad. Didn't come to ask if it was okay. They asked at the till and even though she said she couldn't eat it, they still charged her full price. Won't be back.

Good value for money, not flashy but a varied range of food options to suit everybody.Friendly service.

Food good but eggs benedict serving small and on a slate which I hate, what's wrong with a plate 😂. Waitress kept bringing someone else's order to our table which is fine once but repeated is poor and it was very cold inside.

Good food but a long wait when they are busy ,I thought it was worth it

Don’t get me wrong the food was nice, it was just our experience when leaving that has driven me to leave this review. After the paying the owner directly into her hands at the till, we were chased out 2 mins after leaving the building with her shouting down the road that we haven’t paid. I turned round and explained that I’ve literally just paid her and she shrugged and went back in. I found the whole experience really humiliating for me and my family.

Very disappointing. Ordered a roast beef sandwich, the bread wasn’t fresh and the filling was wet and slimy. Could not eat it and retuned it straight away, was told they would knock it off the bill but then tried to charge me for it when I left. It’s a shame, it’s really gone down hill, won’t be returning.

Service was great but the portion sizes were disappointing. Ordered smashed avocado on toast with poached eggs and halloumi which cost over £10 which was 1 small slice of sourdough with a thin layer of avocado and four slices of halloumi. Overpriced in my opinion. We also ordered waffle with salted caramel which was £4.95 so we expected freshly cooked. Unfortunately this was shop bought. Outside was warm but the middle was cold. Real disappointment compared to my last visit.

Printer error killed the experience

Really great food. Lovely and local. Wholesome. Couldn't fault it. Did gluten free bread.

Lovely little cafe... However the food really wasn't great. Ordered a tuna sandwich. Can't go wrong with that... But thickly spread with marg... Not butter. Put this down to it being my fault for not making sure they use butter. Then ordered a delicious looking chocolate éclair... Bit of a treat... Bit into it.... The cream was sour (and not slightly) I was nearly sick and had to spit it out, which is a horrible thing to do when you're out, it's embarrassing. It was a Monday when we went, so it must have been sat there all weekend... Either way, it certainly wasn't fresh. Completely ruined the experience and I'll never go back.

Smashing cafe bar with friendly staff and nice food.

Lunch today a little disappointing, food not the usual standard. Service also could have been better.

Four of us went here for coffee and cakes, on Saturday 16th Sept. There was a great selection of cakes all tasty and fresh, good-sized portions. Also, there is a good selection of milk for the latte. The service was excellent and the staff were polite and friendly. There is also a good selection of hot foods etc, which we will try on our next visit. 😀

Brilliant service location staff

Been for breakfast this morning X3 and sad to say it was not very good, bacon was like it had been warmed up for days, eggs and beans cold also served on cold plates, don't think we'll be back

We have been quite regular for breakfast on a Saturday this year, and to be honest every time there has been an issue with getting our order wrong but food was ok, last time we said we wouldn't go again but all other options were full except here (which says a lot). Ordered breakfast and 2 out of the 3 breakfasts were wrong again, staff were not very friendly its like they see it as your fault, but to top it off the food has really gone down hill, poached eggs rock solid, who wants solid poached eggs? and a breakfast that was swilling in oil you could fill a quarter of a glass. This time we definitely will not return.

Called in for lunch with friends on Thursday. Place was very busy, food was amazing, staff really friendly and great service. One of the best in the area by far.

I’ve eaten here a handful of times since moving into the area about 6 years ago. I’ve never been overly impressed considering the hype you hear about the place and it’s popularity, but I always give somewhere it’s fair share of chances, so decided to pop in for a quick lunch whilst I was waiting for an appointment. It was quiet, but the staff were chatting at the counter, so I waited a couple of minutes to be seated. When the waitress came over, she looked past me like she was looking for someone and said “is it just you?” When I said yes, she seemed somewhat amused to the fact I was by myself, given that I find it incredibly difficult to go into anywhere alone as it is, I found it very off putting. I opted for a panini, my drink came out very quickly, the food wasn’t long after. It wasn’t great, but I’ve had worse. The filling had far too much mayonnaise (and I am usually pretty heavy on the mayo), the salad was sparse and the crisps…they weren’t stale, but they felt like they’d been sat in the open for a while. Another one of the older waitresses seemed to be quite abrupt and the way she generally spoke to her staff wasn’t great. I think this has always been my overall impression of the place, there’s far better in the area.

I was in Do-Dah's when a group of children from a specialist school were in, these children are allowed to dine out as much as anyone and are sometimes unable to control their language and tone of voice. Huge respect to the staff of do-dah's on their welcoming of the children.

We took a group of boys from a local school as a treat today. Do dahs were very accommodating and the service was great. The staff working here were very polite and friendly. The children thoroughly enjoyed their yummy treats.

I was there for lunch with my best friend. And I must say the Burger was brilliant. And the Service was also good and friendly.

Food was not to my taste. The beef sandwich had far too much chutney put all over it - better served on a side plate. The salad garnish was drowned in overpowering dressing. The noise from a childrens group upstairs w as deafening. Altogether not a good dining experience.

Always a lovely atmosphere and tasty food, can get a little busy at times but staff are very attentive and accommodating.

Another wonderful visit. The food was of excellent quality, the portions generous and the price very reasonable. What made the occasion sob good was the attitude of the young ladies who served us. They went of their way to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. When they asked how we were enjoying the meal, they were not intrusive but set the right tone. We are looking forward to our next visit.

visited today on a cycle trip and got an excellent coffee and scone. They were doing a roaring trade around mid day but still managed a fast service. Very much recommended.

Previously we enjoyed our experience here as a couple so this time we went with our friend. This time I found the waitress a bit rude and found it didn’t cater so well for families with prams and breastfeeding mums.

Called in on Saturday for lunch with friends. The place was quite busy but still managed to get a table. Staff very friendly and welcoming, nothing is too much trouble. Food is excellent and the best coffee in Rawtenstall! Can’t wait to return.

When I ordered a baked potato with a tuna filling and a side salad, it was awesome. I like the sauce that goes with fish, tartar sauce, and salad cream for the salad and some tomato sauce, delicious. Probably, the best restaurant in Rawtenstall.

Lovely service good food it pricey

We had Tuna and Cheese Panini coffees and cake. Which came to £31.00 The panini was a little greasy with more cheese than tuna. Coffee was good carrot cake was good. Staff were really nice. The place was busy and the ambiance nice. Maybe we chose the wrong dish.

Lovely little café great atmosphere and nice food

Seated upstairs for the second & last time. Order taken, drinks served after 5 mins. My wife had plenty of time to browse the over priced clothes shop upstairs prior to the very bland food was served. Im sorry I had to leave this review as my expectation was higher the second time around. Call me daft if you must but I'd rather eat at fresh cafe a few doors down. Been many times with only 1 complaint.....

Didn't rate the food or service when I last visited, never went back. Used to really enjoy the place with family but went very expensive and poor quality. (Old review and based on my last visit in 2019)

Just been here, frequent visitor but won't be returning back. Food was cold & tasteless, very disappointed. Staff friendly & service efficient but felt like I had wasted my money today.

One of the worst places I've been to. Not quite sure where to begin... the chairs were so old and soft you feel like you've sunk into oblivion. 'Cappuccino' tasted like it was made with uht long life milk and was a watery mess. Garlic bread with no garlic; reminiscent of cheapest range from a supermarket. Paninis/baps made with no effort, no butter, no sauces , kids meals just so mediocre, usual stuff in between two slices of cheap white bread and jacket potato filling was mushy and fishy tasting. But really attentive and pleasant staff though!

Long wait for my coffee the wrap and salad etc took 30 minutes to arrive it was cheese ham and Branston but have to say more Branston than cheese and ham for almost £9 very disappointed coffee cold by then did mention this to the waitress but just a grunt.

Nice place, good coffee; uninspiring food choice Pros: good coffee, friendly and professional staff. Cons: ordered eggs on toast and two pieces of half buttered toast came out with 1 x egg on each. It just looked 'badly presented' and expensive for what it was. I had been led to believe I would be impressed. I wasn't. In fairness, I got what I ordered but expected more. I'll be trying other food places on the street in future.

Had a lovely lunch here. The staff were so welcoming and checked on us regularly to see if everything was okay with our food and drinks. The food was delicious. I will definitely be returning here in the very near future.

Had some dinner here last week and it was beyond disappointing to say we are regulars to the cafe. My food order was wrong when I clearly pointed out on the menu what I wanted, the waitress was rude and not understanding. The groups food was brought out at a different time so I had nearly finished mine by the time my family received their food. You never know what other people are going through especially when they make special requests, this was for good reason as my nephew has autism. Therefore he suffers with what foods he will eat so we requested 2 hash browns and a pot of beans as it’s the only thing he would eat, only to be told “ we’re too busy we can’t do that”. But if I would of been getting a breakfast they would of had to Cook hash browns and warm some beans up anyway. ( I understand when it’s busy but there was no apology or understanding as to why we wanted that specific meal for him ). Overall, the food was bland and the tomato soup was sour like there was no sugar added to balance the acidity. This is unfortunate because it was our favourite cafe.

Perfect place for lunch! Lovely and clean, excellent service and quality food for your money. Had the sausage and cheese ciabatta from the specials board, it was delicious! Excellent customer service too! Would highly recommend.

Long wait to be served, was expecting great things, very disappointed with the food, the best tasting thing was the crisps. £20 + for 2 sandwiches and 2 drinks is a bit much, especially given the attitude of the surly young waitress

The staff were amazing even when it became very busy they had time to be nice polite and honest about how long food would be which I found wonderful my concern was eating off wooden bread boards I understand its all new and trendy but not for me the pricing was a little high until you see the quality of food than its so worth it I will be calling again and do recommend everyone pays a visit
