The best fish and chips in the area the prices are good, you have to taste the batterd chips are so crispy and delicious

Nostalgia for me, as I used to visit the former incarnation of this chip shop when I was at high school in the mid 80's (Churchfields) just around the corner. Back then, when kids had the freedom to leave the grounds, we used to visit the thruppenny bit chippy everyday and it used to be packed out. Today, Lucky's Plaice does the old chippy justice and puts out some delicious fresh orange chips, fresh crispy fish and battered sausages that are premier league. And whilst the chippy prices have gone up across the board, I would still say the prices here are very reasonable. Delicious food and great service. This chippy will be my default chippy from now on!

My food was cold and soggy chips just tasted oil charged different prices on there website and board the women said they old prices they got my food wrong and when I told them the wrong wrong she says I have already served them and cooked them so can't change argued my point with her she finally changed it 😡very eating here again

£5 for a roe and chip special! Chips cooked in dirty oil and the lady serving me tried to charge me £6 originally rather than the £5 and claimed she had pressed the wrong button.

This the best chips shop in the west brom area.. Food is great and the staff are brilliant, recommend there to anyone.. Hi to Sonia, great service.

Woman Charged me wrong the two women was very rude I ordered two donner meat and chips large and 2 garlic naan breads and battered sausage and spring roll came to £30 I looked at there price on the wall and on there website and the price was wong told the two women they wouldn't listen never ordering again from this chip shop food was greasy and old chips the battered sausage tasted like fish vile and the spring roll had a huge black hair wrapped around it not happy at all

Probably my favourite chippy locally in the last few years. I've been quite a lot, the food never lets me down and the prices are very reasonable. I also know of people who regularly travel from surrounding towns to get food from here.

Woman Charged me twice for my food got resolved but was just an agro. Order was wrong. And the donner meat I had was hard and cold, the chips tasted like old oil and again was cold.

The lady that served me today was so so lovely 😊 I went in and saw a customer get the small fish and chips and the portion was massive so I said let me not spend extra money just to not finish it. The food was nice but it was a bit greasy, I got curry sauce as well and it was lovely. They do add salt and vinegar if you want but next time I’ll get extra vinegar because I like it that way. 5 ⭐️ !!

Came in for pizza and had a chicken samosa too, food was good and pizza was quite cheesy despite being thin. Friendly ladies.

Ordered battered chips with chilli sauce. Soft fluffy chips and brilliant taste. Being the only customer in the shop, this place seemed to lack basic customer service skills, hence the 3 stars. Didn't feel very welcome. Not sure if the lady serving me was having a bad day? Nevertheless, I may pop in again and will leave another review if the service improves. Cannot fault the chips though.

I popped into this chippy while I was waiting for my chemist to open. Being diabetic I purchased two scallops and when I opened the paper wrapping they were not the dry battered as you usually find when they have been standing a while after being cooked but they were very greasy which basically put me off eating them.

Just had a lovely lamb Kebab or did it on Uber eats it was still hot when we arrived. I asked in the note for extra salad and I got it. . I ordered the small and it was plenty still couldn’t finish it

A good choices menu.. Includes. Traditional fish and chips pie's.. Chicken. Pizza.. Kebab.. etc but i found the price was too expensive. Compared to my local fish and chips shops... .

Very friendly my dad only likes plain chips so the man did some for him and a fresh small fish as my dad is in hospital so needed it hot as possible

There's room for improvement but a nice owner and food was average.

More batter than fish, greasy chips, expensive and small portions, more salad than meat in kebab wrap.

I paid £7 for large fish and chips . Fish had more batter than the fish. Chips had red coatings. Fish and chips should always remain classic. Disappointed... having to work at the hospital it is the most convenient place . Few suggestions keep it original plain traditional chips with cod fish, less batter ! Happy customers ...

I have never had chips that colour before but they were very very tasty a good chippy where you can also get kebabs and Pizzas. Limited parking to the side.

Pizzas are vile but the rest of the food is lovely.

Quality has dropped. Hardly any toppings on the pizzas which cost £8! This used to be my local but now id rather drive to stone cross.

I love this chippy their battered chips are to die for Love their lamb kebab meat also I'm almost 2years post op from gastric bypass an food that's too greasy/fatty makes me dump but lucky's place battered chips and lamb kebab meat doesn't make me dump at all I absolutely adore this place it's a nice occasional treat for when I'm craving chippy food Keep up the good work :)
