Very disappointed with the big breakfast we had today, bacon barely cooked, plate cold, hash brown flabby and undercooked. With the 2 coffees the bill came to £30. Certainly won't be returning at this price and quality. They need to employ someone who can cook and improve the quality of the food. On the plus side the coffee was excellent, shame the breakfast was so bad.

Friendly staff, with Radka being particularly kind and polite. Chicken tikka ciabatta and regular flat white is my favourite choice.

We had a lovely breakfast with my family. We were served by a supervisor who provided us with all the necessary information to choose our meals, as I am allergic to nuts. The supervisor was very helpful and attentive. We’ll definitely visit this place again.

I recently visited this coffee shop and was thoroughly impressed by the excellent service I have got from waitress Radka. From the moment I walked in, she greeted me with a warm smile and took the time to help me choose the perfect drink. Her knowledge of the menu and passion for coffee really shone through. I have been here on many occasions for lunch, but in January I was served a sandwich with salad plus a 2 slugs in the salad. Fair enough I recieved the money back for the sandwich, but I was also promised a voucher as a good will gesture from Kelvin the Manager. This was 2 months ago. I have since been in touch, but am still waiting a reply. It's such a shame as i used here quite often with work colleagues. Customer service very poor and quality of food very disappointing for the price.

Fantastic place for breakfast. Delicious food recommend the American dinner breakfast and the yummy milkshakes. Friendly staff , quick service quite a few seats to choose from. There are also freshly made cakes and sandwiches in the cabinet by the till. Can be quite busy. Just need to make sure they clean up the whole table when clearing the dishes away .

Scarlet was very helpful. The food and drinks were lovely. Needed a little sanctuary away from Ikea and this fitted the bill beautifully

We are regulars here and it has gone downhill over the months for sure. The Chai Latte was just warm frothy milk with cinnamon on the top. No chai taste whatsoever. Our cakes have always been served warm and it was served cold. Our savoury dishes were good though. Just don't order a chai latte unless you just want milk and ask for the cakes warmed up as they seems to have stopped doing this now. Visited another time and had Shakshuka. Turned up on the table and was basically chunky tomato soup with 1 egg floating around. Tomatoes weren't cooked down or seasoned. Very disappointed

£4.50 for half a cup of coffee with syrup!? C'mon, guys: it's good tasting coffee ... but this is taking the proverbial, isn't it!?

Shocking experience. Used to go regularly but will never go again. My wife asked if the coffee could be brought with the food and was told no. Then my £6.50 egg on toast comes with 2 burnt toast and no jam as per menu. Ask waitress about it and the fact they said they couldn't bring our coffees out. Shocking attitude and rude. Food cold aswell.

Staff cold and unaccommodating. Was just looking for a nice sit down and pick me up but the attitude of the staff made myself and mom feel worse leaving than we did coming in.

This was my first visit and I actually wasn’t planning to stop but the menu looked so nice I decided to. I was so disappointed with the quality and appearance of the food. Turkish eggs were more like English eggs trying to be Turkish, shop bought honeys dolloped in the plate and a greasy flat bread. I also got a raspberry and coconut slice which was extremely dry and not edible. The staff did apologise and swapped it right away. Swapped for a brownie which was heated in the microwave and therefore no longer had a brownie texture and was more like a cake. A lot of potential but no quite meeting the mark.

Being a regular customer, unfortunatelly the new staff especially management totally incompetent, rude and arrogant without ability to solve small issues. The food/service quality dropped down rapidly. I believe it was my last visit, wont come ever again.

If I could I would give 0 stars very uncomfortable with the server serving me as she was very unprofessional hair done and constly flirting while having her hair thrown around in my drink.im a regular here always get two Americans however first time seeing these new staff looked very stressed out and under trained and manager looked very unhelpful and bored on her phone

Was looking for a nice hot coffee on a rainy morning, when I found JBW. The name already cheered me up so I thought I give it a go and I did myself a favour. So different atmosphere from those templated high street coffee shops. Coffee was spot on, food recommended by Daniela was delicious. My No.1 coffee place from now on.

Jamaica blue is a solid cafe choice if you are looking for fresh, full breakfast’s or sweet drinks and desserts. On this occasion I ordered an apple caramel bunt cake and a slice of red velvet cake as it was well received however my slice of red velvet was gooey in the centre and tasted much more of food colouring that sponge- not too pleasant. However their coffees, particularly their cappuccino and their iced lattes are one of the best I’ve had. The atmosphere can range anywhere from busy to ghostly depending on how many shoppers are in the downstairs next. The service is fast and efficient despite the location and the seating is as good as you can expect from a small, hidden cafe. On the whole the service and amazing beverage and breakfasts is what makes Jamaica Blue stand out. I was well impressed with their pancakes and bunt cakes in particular which are hot, spongy and filled with generous chunks of apple. Thank you Jamaica blue. - P.R

Not the best experience 😕. Three of us ordered poached eggs on toast. Two of us had really hard eggs so they were changed. The toilet needs a seriously good clean. The floor in particular was filthy at 10.30am. There is no sanitary bin ! We did speak to a member of staff about the toilet as someone had left a used sanitary item on the shelf !!!

Unfortunantly the staff were overwhelmed and understaffed today. Not their fault. But it meant over 30 mins wait for a latte. 1 latte. If they had told me when i cancelled the order for food that the 30 mins still applied even for a latte I would have left. Im so annoyed. Best of all when it came it was COLD. Why? Because they were making it and then serving till customers then running into kitchen to take food out then running out to tables to clear plates. The staff clearly needed more people on today and it was a catastrophe.

I recently went for coffee with my wife. When we arrived, we were asked which table we were sitting at, but since we hadn’t chosen one yet, the lady (who was foreign sounding) said she would seat us by the window. We sat down in that area, but when our coffee was ready, it was taken to the wrong table. We waved to get her attention, and she brought it to us. However, she remarked, “It’s no laughing matter. I said sit at table 9!” (she hadn’t and we were not laughing at her) and then walked off. I followed her to address her rude behavior. This is a completely unacceptable way to speak to customers.. If the owners want to get in touch with me about the individual please do!

Had a cappuccino and a muffin which were both very nice. Can you please sort out the toilet they are horrible. Both male and female and as most types of these toilets there was urine on the seat and floor

Really surprised to find this lovely cafe, which serves more than the standard oats and pastries. Avo Smash and American diner breakfast were so yum. 😋 The ladies who served us were friendly and knowledgeable, even when the rush began. Highly recommend.

I ordered Turkish eggs and recieved two fried eggs with some very wilted spinach some which had brown leaves..some over cooked naan and houmous there was no whipped feta as states on menu and no harisa oil .for 10.50 it was rip off Turkish eggs come with poached eggs not fried. The staff looked over whelmed and tired. I had to wipe the table myself as no one had come to clean. Very disappointed

Visited here on 12/04/24 Me, my mom and daughter came here for my mom’s birthday breakfast. We were pleased with the overall standard of everything, food was lovely and fresh. Nothing was too much to ask for. The assistant manager Chanelle was very kind and friendly and really approachable. It’s nice to see a manager on the shop floor assisting staff with their jobs, rather than hiding away. Chanelle is a great addition to Jamaica Blu. Thanks again Chanelle and team for a lovely experience.

Not sure what's changed but the last couple of times we have visited, americano coffee tasted bitter and strong, so today I had a mocha, it was more like a cup of hot milk and also looked very weak. Partner had flat white and reported it to be the same, lacking taste. It is a lovely place but our experiences over the last few weeks have left us disappointed.

The timing of the resturant has changed so it shuts like 3 hours before it states it does on a Saturday (visited today) so had to resort to a takeaway coffee. Been on another 2 occasions and they refused to serve coffee half an hour before closing time because they have to clean everything. Food is very average. The coffee is good which is why we come here but its a shame their service timings just don't make sense.

Lady was lovely that served. But took 15 -20 min for food to arrive. I ordered a veg roll breakfast. (Very small) The bun was rock hard when I took a bit of it, I had to leave it was very upsetting for the price you pay.

Very nice workers since the new company took over everything is over the place the closing time at 5pm we work around Wednesday we finish at 5pm the cofe shop close at 5pm anyone got a brain. The food are different I'm not going back again.

Situated upstairs in Next. Very bright and spacious, great selection of brunch foods, from Reuben bagels, crosissants and wraps. Main meals are also available. Very friendly staff, and great coffee. They also have a loyalty card that is stamped - 5 drinks, and the 6th is free. Perfect place to refuel when shopping.

Hi myself and my sister always visits this cafe every saturday. Today was exceptional as the girls behind the counter was absolutely brilliant. Stacey and her girls was amazing as i was so busy today but on top of everthing. As we was so pleased we brought each one of the girls box of chocolates. THANK YOU XXX

Food was not very nice at all. they didn’t have much ingredients so we was limited on order choice. the chicken came pink and undercooked. the hash browns smelt like dog food because of the dirty oil used. the avocado on toast was a tiny bit of avo was mixed with oil. there was hardly anything! we couldn’t finish the food. the only nice thing was the hot chocolate

After a ridiculously long wait for food it arrived cold and burnt when I returned it not an apology. When they reserved it, the portions of certain parts gave the impression that they had nearly run out of naan and whipped feta.

Slow service waited 45 mins for 2 breakfast rolls with hash brown. Only 1 hash brown came out asked the assistant for another 1 but never got. Would not go there again.

Coffee was prompt and great. Half hour wait for the pancake stacks and even then just about warm enough with miserly strips of bacon. Tasted good and nice portion size. Expect better service, especially when those ordering after got their food first!

Ordered just after 12pm and waited over 30mins. Chased our order and was told it would be another 10mins. Food arrived at nearly 1pm and was cold. At this point, we had waited so long we didn't bother to send it back. We ordered toast for our toddler and had to chase this twice- this came after our food. The lady who bought it over was lovely and explained that there was only one person in the kitchen and offered us free drinks. We really should have been offered some money off the bill for the whole experience. Staffing should be better for the Christmas period. After this experience, would not return

Purchased turkey bagel, it was so bad it made me nauseas! Heaven knows what the pasty looking 'meat' was because it certainly didn't look or taste like any turkey I've ever eaten. Bagel was hard on one side soggy on the other, I genuinely can't describe how bad it tasted I would usually raise the issue but I'd only stopped to eat due to a banging headache and just didn't have the energy. I thought that was bad enough until I visited the toilet, if I'd seen it first I'd have walked right out! I'll be forwarding photos to Head Office. If I could award zero stars I would, my advice avoid at all costs! I would have shared the photos but for some reason it won't allow me to.

No water in toilet to wash hands. Asked the staff to put hand sanitiser in toilet. Was told to use other toilet. Was 8n use HOW? disgusting attitude

I genuinely like this place, different from the others (Costa Starbucks). The coffee is equally good but the food is definitely better and different. I tried the breakfast frittata and a brownie, I was expecting the brownie to be warm somehow, it was a little too nutty for me but tasty. This is now my preferred place to drink coffee.

£8.70 for a standard full English breakfast , sour dough bread tasted stale and didn’t bring any butter , had to ask and by time it came bread was cold so butter wasn’t able to melt , hash browns were barley cooked , tasted like they’d came straight out of a freezer and been chucked on the pan for a few seconds to warm but not very nice at all , sausage was okay but again not very well done / cooked , bacon was the best and only good bit of the breakfast , doubt I’ll be returning

Called in whilst shopping. Ordered 2 desert cake a tea and water. Cake arrived quickly but was really tasteless. In fact awful . Drinks arrived ten minutes later. Terrible service. Complained about cake but attendant thought it was funny and smiled then walked off.

Usually food is good, but not this time, possibly depend on the time of day. We had a brunch, asked for scramble eggs given poarch eggs, the bacon was burnt, overall the food was not tasty. Was very disappointed.

I only take the time to put good reviews, but forced to say something, Im a regular at Janaica Blue, Wednesbury, first issue dont bother coming on a Sunday at 10.30sm as suggested by their website doors do not open until 11am no consistency, I come for hot muffin with cream on side + tea, today no cream, muffin cold after waiting 20 mins noted my pot of tea sitting there for over 7 mins was going to get it myself, feel bad as young girls doing their best under staffed, my lad came with me 1st time last visit he ordered bacon pancakes they gave banana cudnt be bothered to complain as already waited half hour for fud, b4 that they run out of icecream for waffles I was 1st cust of the day, b4 that my friend came just wanted strawbery shake they run out, fiinknit is time to luk for somewhere else to get tea snd cake 😗

Breakfast, very poor, beans on toast, toast not buttered , beans luke warm , main Breakfast, bacon 0/10 looked like left overs from another plate , poached eggs looked good but tasted of vinegar, baked beans luke warm , temperature of whole Breakfast cool ,price high for a very sub standard meal , will not eat here again.

Went to the cafe for breakfast with my wife and one other. Very friendly and helpful staff especially the young lady from Hungary. Food and atmosphere were good. Very helpful when I misplaced my car keys, when moving tables.

Poor service. I only said, “excuse me, I ordered beans on sourdough”. I thought they had forgotten about me. I was told other people were before you. Then given an arrogant death stare. Then food came cold. I would not recommend. Awful customer service. I never do these things. But it was the way she looked at me.

This coffee shop provides a good casual menu and does various breakfast options. Food is very good. Please teach your staff about cross contamination and provide a toaster for gluten free toast!

I’ve been today to Jamaica Blue for a coffe and there was many delicious cakes and sandwiches I had a latte and mozzarella tomato spinata it was the best food I ever had . Very friendly and professional staff specially a girl who served me named Suela very welcoming and making sure that if I enjoyed my coffe and food . Stopped for a slice of cake for myself and my son. Nice and quiet, one lady none stop cleaning and the lady that served me was very polite. They brought my son out some crayons and a colouring sheet too.

I had a fabulous time at Jamaica blue today. The staff are very friendly especially the staff member named Alex . She is a very good barrister and was very friendly to me and my wife. The latte she made me was beautiful. Would definitely recommend 👍👍

Was looking for an alternative after Costa decided to use cheaper beans and over-roast them. Wow, lovely coffee and a good selection of food. Will definitely be coming back.

Great place very clean great service friendly environment Best of all great coffee and fresh cakes. Then I went to the toilet what a disgrace 1 need more than 1 toilet 2 someone needs to keep them clean unfortunately. I did bring this matter to someone’s attention she said they would sort it.
