This was my first time going to Lucky house. I called ahead to make an order and was greeted with a very friendly voice. No waiting when i collected. And then come to the eating. The good was excellent. I couldn't fault it in any way at all. I will go again.

Have ordered chinese takeaway many times since we moved into chichester in 2005. Although we have tried other chinese takeaways in area, none of them come close to Lucky house in terms of quality, portion size, and just TASTY food. Easily the best. Would highly recommend. My only complaint would be why have they stopped doing the meat pancake rolls? Oh well. Just to add - i have read the negative reviews on here and am baffled as we have never had a bad meal at lucky house. Can only think its because the delivery drivers have delivered food that has gone cold etc.

We ordered for our family and the food was stodgy, cold and greasy. The S&S sauce was like jelly, rice was clumpy and the chicken balls were undercooked and greasy. The chicken kung pao was inedible. Prawns were rubbery and made my daughter have an awful stomach ache. We called to see if we could have a refund and we’re initially declined until we insisted to speak with the manager. The manager tried to blame the poor food on the delivery driver!! In the end she agreed to refund but only if we handed the food back! Packed it all up and returned it to the restaurant for her only to give us a partial refund as some of it had been eaten….absolutely appalling service and food. Will never go back or recommend.

Having seen in some coeliac and gluten free groups, recommendations for Lucky House...we decided to try it out tonight. We phoned to give our order and the lady who answered was really friendly and helpful. We only placed a fairly meagre order: two chow meins (plain and special) 10 battered chicken balls, chicken fried rice (GF) and as they had run out of duck I altered my original choice of duck in plum sauce to chicken and cashew nuts with Capitol sauce (GF) I had not heard of this before. It was battered with GF flour and a little like sweet and sour. It was completely delicious 😋 The rice was tasty, perhaps a little dry but absolutely fresh and well prepared. Even after driving back (we put the food into a well insulated bag) it remained hot enough to eat on arrival home, no reheating necessary. I did not sample other items as I could not but my husband, son and daughter all very much enjoyed their meals. It was excellent value for money...and I look forward to ordering again.

We were staying at Chichester Lakeside & really couldn't be bothered cooking on a Saturday night the concensus was Chinese Take Away and not knowing the area it was a bit of a punt. Crispy chilli beef, Beef chow mien, Sweet n Sour Chicken, Special rice, Singapore noodles . . . . We had a family feast. To the food - its certainly a generous portion, more than enough. Best - Chow Mein and Special rice Least- Salt n Pepper chips (bit cold and soggy) & the Spare ribs (bit fatty and not much meat) All in all pretty good The chips I can understand, they won't travel well We'd certainly use Lucky House again when back in Chichester

Ordered Seaseme Prawn Toast, Hong Kong Style Chicken Sweet and Sour, Special Fried Rice. The Seaseme Prawn Toast were dry and small. The only way they had seen any prawns is if someone had waved a bag of Prawn and Cocktail crisps over them. Dry and tasteless. The Speical Fried Rice was Boiled Rice with a couple of bits of veg thrown in. Delivery was shocking. Driver had no mask, no social distancing and was coughing everywhere. Because of this the food was thrown away. I woud not recommend or use again.

Do not waste your money on this food. The mixed starter had dinosaur sized ribs and spring rolls that tasted like they had come from a frozen food supermarket. The beef and mushrooms tasted of chlorine and the sweet and sour balls were so soggy that the batter just fell off. The gloop that was supposed to be sweet and sour sauce was like sugar paste and had no sour in it at all. It was inedible. It cost £20 and was not worth £2. I never have take away so this was supposed to be a real treat. Sadly it was a huge mistake.

A friend and I had our meal delivered to our fishing lake in Chichester, house special chow mein, singapore noodles and salt and pepper prawns. The salt and pepper prawns were utterly amazing and I am genuinely scratching my head to recall ever having better... superb

The Lucky House was recommended by friends but unfortuately to me it was dissapointing lacking flavour and on apar with most Chinese take aways in the UK (quantity without flavour) I cannot fault the quality of the ingredients or the cleanliness of the establishment but the food did not excite the taste buds as Chinese food should.

Food was amazing as always, we had a munchie box with Singapore noodles which I highly recommend. Delivery took less than 20 minutes! By far the best Chinese takeaway in Chichester

We had a takeaway whilst staying in a local caravan park. All of the food was hot and of a high standard. One of the best I’ve had.
