Food is always great quality and really yummy. Only feedback would be that the spring rolls in the starter mix could be smaller as they are so big they feel overfilled & a little greasy.

Lovely food , good quality . A long waiting time as busy period saturday evening but delivered bang on time with an apology also for delay. Excellent food , hot and tasty . 1 of the best chinese meals had for a long time locally . Highly recommended.

Food is absolutely gorgeous. The meals came in boxes and were nice and hot when they arrived. It was a lovely meal. Shame about delivery time but it’s definitely worth the wait!!

Very very late! Well over an hour.

Arrived in good time and really delicious food.

The food quality was decent enough, the chips were a bit soggy, however we did receive the wrong dish instead of one of the item we ordered. We ordered sweet and sour chicken hong kong style and instead received chicken balls with a tub of sauce.

The delivery was on time and the delivery driver was very pleasant. I have to say that’s the only thing I could say that was nice about this meal. Everything was overcooked, hard and very chewy. I did not enjoy it all and I will not buy here from here again.

Good food but always late last few times we have ordered. 45 mins late today even though we ordered 2 hours before delivery time.

Overpriced given small portions and not particularly warm on arrival and I’m only up the road 🤷🏽‍♂️

Delivery was 3 hours late. After multiple phone calls the delivery arrived and the whole order was wrong! Contacted again and restaurant promised a full refund, but they have now insulted us with £3 credit! What food that did arrive was inedible.

The food is great. Though, I've ordered from them several times and it's always 30mins to a hour late.

Missing item. No Beef in Black Bean.

Food quality was terrible! Looked and tasted like it was prepared 3 days beforehand and reheated. Definitely would not recommend this place. Probably the worst Chinese takeaways I've ever eaten!

Completely missed a dish out and nobody answering phones. The bag arrived swimming in grease and my husband had put the dishes on the tablecloth without knowing. Everything covered in grease. To make matters worse when trying to get a refund through JustEat for the missing dish, I’m told no refund will be given.

Also order was delivered with 2 dishes missing. Had to phone up and dishes were then delivered a further 30 mins later. Spoiling the Christmas Eve family meal

Food was over an hour late, raised 2 complaints on late delivery with no response and tried calling restaurant.. again no response. Ordered at 7pm for est delivery 7.55… arrived 9pm. Over an hour late.. past being hungry at that point.

It took so long i had to walk down to the shop to collect it

35 minutes after the stated 1 hour delivery time. tried to call but phone constantly engaged. food arrived but everything had to be heated up in the microwave. really unhappy. it's not a cheap option anymore and after today's terrible service we won't be using them again.

Really delicious, lovely food. Delivery time jumped to later after order was placed & webpage refreshed, but fortunately not too much of an issue. Delivery driver was very friendly and happy 😎 The chicken skewers come as 4 when the menu is 6 - odd?

I got my delivery to find out the prawn crackers I had ordered were missing. The restaurant decided the only choice was for me to have it as a dessert (3 hours later than my food arrived).

As usual everything was spot on 💯. The only thing I can ask for is putting the small 🦐🦐 prawns?? or are they shrimps?? putting in the pancake rolls!! But everything else was gorgeous, so thank you...👏👏👏👏👏👏

Had chowmein ..lemon chicken and sweet and sour chicken balls..overallbwas nice lostxa point though as the sweet and sour sauce was very thin and vinegary..not enough to put me off this time but if its like it again i would probably start ordering el

From order to delivery 90mins - had to chase to be told it’s on its way. Clearly a rushed order as bland, overcooked and missing a rice. Poor!

We ordered at 7.27pm , it’s 8:46pm and we get an update it will be delivered at 8.55pm! That is an hour and 30mins delivery ! Such a long wait

Food went out for delivery about half hour before received. Unfortunately arrived cold. The driver did apologise for late delivery. Food tasted nice just temperature an issue.

Possibly the worst chinese meal I have ever had! Chicken chow mien was dry and tasteless, chips tasted like they had been reheated and were cold on arrival. The chicken and noodle soup was dreadful and was a couple of lumps of chicken a load of chow main noodles not even cut small and an oxo cube. Sweet and sour sauce was ok as we’re the chicken balls. All this for near £30!!! Won’t be repeating this mistake. Will stick to the cottage in future.

food took longer than 1hr 40min to turn up and only live 5 minutes away. chips and barbecue ribs were dry tasted reheated, rice needed more flavour.

Food is superb but they change the rules on delivery to suit! Sometimes they deliver to your postcode. Sometimes they deliver by! And that can depend on what day of the week it is! Such a shame I cannot recommend based on this unrealiability. Won’t be ordering again. We live just outside of Hargrave so we are not that far from Raunds. They even say that there is an additional delivery charge outside Raunds that we are happy to pay. Really frustrated by this. I have told a lot of friends in Tilbrook and Kimbolton to try this place. Will no longer recommend!

New owners, new high prices. 40 quid for what was 27 a few months ago. They didn't even ask for payment until we had had the food delivered and were eating it, then forced us to use an app we don't overly trust. Not great food, vastly reduced menu, average service. Not worth the money.

They need to read their orders properly. 2nd times i have ordered and 2nd times they have missed items off. Its frustrating when you spend money and don't get everything you pay for. Won't order again as sick of things being missed off all the time.

Had beef n black bean, chicken chowmein, egg fried rice. prawn toasts, sweet n sour chicken. Beef and chowmein so salty as to be inedible , chicken tasteless. Called to complain. offered more food which I really didn't want. Asked for refund of half cost which i considered fair. Owner declined, but said that i could go there to discuss it. I took food back, he did not comment....disappeared into kitchen and let the nice young lady on counter to deal with it. She then took my mobile number and whole amount was refunded..... my nice relaxed delivered takeaway was ruined. and I had to go out to take it there...... dreadful service from owner. More that happy to be reasonable ... guess he thought that he'd call my bluff. NEVER AGAIN. (delivery driver e=was very nice and polite)

Now called lucky garden in raunds, does get busy on weekends so deliveries can take a bit longer but definitely worth the wait

Always use this Chinese. Personon the phone is always very polite, delivery is prompt. :)

Do not use these rang at 5pm to be told food will arrive at 615 rang again was told food went to wrong house then when turned up wasn't ours , rang again and then get told we haven't had a order from you, utterly useless can't handle things if busy avoid at all costs.

The best chinese around.special curry needs to have less onion though xx

Paper menu has more choice than online menu but as it's rare for the phone to be answered your choice is restricted to the lesser online version. Took 2 hours 35 minutes for order to arrive by which point it was 9.40pm and too late to eat dinner. Having decided to cancel by 9.30pm (this can only be done by phone) it took so long for anyone to pick up the phone that the order arrived by that time. They would not give any discount as a goodwill gesture. We turned it away and requested a refund. Terrible service, orders should either not be taken or be collection only if they can't cope. Can't select no stars unfortunately.

Ordered my sisters birthday meal on Just eat and the restaurant left it for hours before declining it without contacting us. We didn't know it had been declined until it was already due so my sister was left waiting for her birthday meal. Would give this restaurant a zero if I could.

Amazing hidden gem! Was after a takeaway but being a bit remote there wasn't much choice, really fancied a Chinese and this didn't disappoint. Food was yummy and hot and delivery was early, definitely will order again!

Just used this take away and the service was excellent. The food was very tasty and a reasonable portion size too. My only (minor) criticism is it felt a little greasy/oily on the lips. That may have more to do with my choice of dish. Well done, I'll be back.

Delivery service poor now. Usually quiet so just pop down to order. Easy to park outside. Small waiting room with TV. Food is actualy very good and well priced.

They have a stupid phone system where it answers to say they are busy. We called over 50 times tonight and realised each call took a minute off our free minutes on mobile. Never got food as they never answered! Very poor service!

Use to be good, not anymore. Now the delivery service is very poor including missed items or just totally the wrong order, and the quality of the food has gone from near excellent to uneadible. After 10 years of ordering food from this takeway I can honestly say enough is enough and never again. Such a shame.
