Food was good, delivery time after ordering was longer than expected

The box was open and the food was cold, I had 3 items missing, the driver found the items in his car and tried to deliver them 30 mins later, I politely them I didn’t want them, the whole box went in the bin, I also realised the restaurant has a poor food hygiene rating, shame on just eat for allowing places with poor hygiene on their platform😡

Food late. Good portion very small compared to other takeaways.

Early delivery which could have been an issue as I might not have been in. Portion size much smaller than indicated by price but it was good and not greasy. It was very, very spicy though.

Ordered at 18:40, received 20:30. Never had such long wait times when ordering from other restaurants via Just Eat. Nearly 2 hours which is is ridiculous! Very disappointing.

The food was not that nice at all. Very vinegary. We could not eat it.

When ordered it said 30-35 mins it was 1hour 10 mins when my order finally arrived

Ordered food came stone cold no customer service at all when called had food so many times from here never complained asked me to walk over and prove that it's cold I mean I ordered as takeaway so shouldn't have to walk over also maybe have your delivery staff to keep the food in bags where it stays heated, also when called back if the food getting collected I got answer can you just not be a normal person and heat it up in microwave, very rude lady on phone swearing etc

Good, tasty and faultless food was just disappointed at the delivery driver sending his kid who struggled carrying the bags and was swinging the munchie box rather than keeping it flat as all the food had slide to the bottom off the box and had forced the box open at the sides and food came out the box into the bag other than that good

Spring rolls and duck pancakes were cold. Order delivery time was rescheduled and then was later than the new time.

Delivery was delayed for 2 hours and then never showed up

I had the most amazing chilli chicken with honey, flavour explosion in my mouth! I do recommend ! My belly applauding you ;-)

We order from you quite a lot & the food is normally good. Sadly tonight our food was very disappointing. The noodles had a funny taste to them & the rice was wet & looked like it hadn’t been ‘fried’ the chicken in one of the dishes was ‘fatty’ I don’t know if it was a different chef but sadly we did not enjoy our food tonight & spent nearly £50 on it🥲

Part of order, chicken balls missing. Called restaurant, they disputed as the separate bag went out with the order and they have cameras in the kitchen. I did suggest food still with the delivery driver, could they contact but they insisted order was intact. I asked for refund for missing items but they don't do refunds. Person on the phone said kitchen would make more and take it out of her wages!? I declined this offer. Shame, food we had was lovely. Customer service poor. Won't order again.

Delivery was half n hour late. Chicken in chilli sauce was very sweet. The noodles and fried rice were tasteless. There wasn't any taste at all

1 hour 35 mins for 2 salt and pepper chicken and rice that was like warm, when I called to ask how long it was going to be the member of staff hung up the phone

We went in at 5pm and we were the only customers. We were hoping to have a sit in dinner but we received a very soured face and unfriendly service. We were being ignored for a good ten minutes. She was to busy setting other tables instead of attending to us. It really made us feel very uncomfortable. By the time she approached our table. My friend then asked her for a set meal for two in the menu. She turned round to tell my friend that was for take away meals only. In the menu doesn't say for take away. It should be written under the set meals for two, three or four is only for take away. We decided to get up and left. If I could tick no star I would unfortunately there isn't a no star for me to tick.

Chips arrived cold we contacted them and had a very confrontational response then the same person came to my address and was very argumentative

just waited about an hour and a half for King Prawn Chow Mein and prawn crackers. it is utterly tastless. very disappointed

Food was delivered hot and early, but was pretty bland. There were fatty bits of chicken and the rice was overcooked. Other dishes may be better but I wouldn't recommend the sweet and sour chicken.

the food was inedible unfortunately. too salty to eat the chow.meon and the ribs were too tough to enjoy. I have eaten from here plenty time before. I am currently trying to argue for a refund because the food was so bad but at the moment having no luck.

Ordered take away. The prawn crackers were extremely stale and ended up in the bin immediately. Starter was overcooked. The ribs had no meat on them, the wonton and prawn toast overcooked and was poor and the chicken satay greasy and overdone. The special chow mein was greasy and flavourless. Not our usual Chinese but have had from here before and wasn't like this.

Little bit of a wait however worth every moment of it. Lovely hot food, all very tasty. Really enjoyed by everyone, will definitely be ordering from here in future. Very polite and friendly delivery driver.

I received a txt message advising ordered was delayed but it arrived bang on time. Food was lovely and piping hot.

Lucky bowl are great. Every time we order from them, the food is great, it's hot, it's on time always and if not early, and the delivery people are always friendly. A great service, again and again! :)

Really not great. Crispy beef wasn’t crispy and all food was just very bland. Not impressed so won’t be ordering again sadly.

We yet again didn't get everything we ordered. This time none of our drinks and kids Ice cream. Disappointed kids. I want a refund but I'm having problems finding how to do it. I plan on stopping using this app if we can even get our order complete

Chicken and black bean not right. Too much black bean and the chicken had really odd texture. Would expect better quality for the price I’m afraid.

Singapore vermicelli were too oily and soft

Not sure what's happened to the Lucky Bowl. Their food used to be really good and portions ridiculously big. The last two times we've ordered the food has been edible and that's being kind. The red Thai curry I ordered arrived as a thick green Thai curry. The Thai chicken noodles were revolting, the sauce tasted only of vinegar! Two bed experiences, we will not be going for a third.

Friendly and courteous delivery driver and very tasty food - would definitely recommend

3 disappointingly small spring rolls and 2 spare ribs in a box with little actual meat on them. Not exactly good value for money as I can get more elsewhere for the same price. I probably will go elsewhere next time.

We're not helpful when I phoned to query lateness of food food not the best either and had to heat up as not very hot

Great food always get take away from here! Chicken balls and chow main is the best! Delivery can be a little slow sometimes but it’s worth the wait!

Food was so greasy! There was a cm layer of oil on the black bean sauce, the chicken balls and prawn toast oil could be squeezed and oil dripped off. The wontons were over cooked. The duck was cooked beautifully, as was the chicken curry but ruined by the oiliness

This restaurant is OK but it could be so much better. I'm not a food expert but neither are most ordinary customers but I do like a relaxed, cosy, friendly experience which the "Lucky Bowl" fails to deliver. The lighting is bright and harsh, our server was a bit uninterested, the tables were all undressed and unappealing, the bottled beer is served in 330ml bottles, there's no draft beer, food was fine.

Good delivery time but quality of food and packaging was awful, received a soggy carboard box and soggy burnt food , won’t be ordering again , shame really heard lots of good reviews

Food was amazing as always but I ordered a 1.5 litre bottle of juice and only got a 1.25 litre bottle. Not cool considering how much I was charged for it.

Honestly think this place is under-rated, the meals pack a punch and remind me very much of my trips to China.

I won't go back to Lucky Bowl. We had 3 takeaway dishes which all seemed to have the same sauce - dark and slimy. I ordered veg satay which did not have satay sauce on it and was mainly mushroom and pineapple??

Prawns in chow mein where slimy and mushy clearly out of date!!! Spring rolls were tasteless

Food was pretty poor. Tasted of burnt oil and had no real flavour of its own. Won't be going back.

Great food, missing food in the order

About 30 minutes earlier than expected,fantastic food and service will certainly be using lucky bowl while we are in Inverness.

When initially ordering advised delivery would be between 35-50 minutes, once the order was placed the actual time was 1hr5mins - 1hr25mins. Eventually arrived 1hr45 minutes after the order had been placed. Would have gone elsewhere if quoted the actual estimated delivery time before confirming the order.

Ordered crispy shredded chicken but got soggy floppy chicken instead. Did not enjoy

Crispy chicken was soft and had the texture of fat

I’ve ordered a Thai Style beef noodles hoping to get something like a Phad thai. Unfortunately it was a full Chinese style noodles with lots sauce which I personally don’t like it at all. Couldn’t eat my meal. Disappointing.

This was the worst Chinese food I have had in a very long time. The bean sprouts were grey, the sweet and sour (Hong Kong style) was cloyingly sweet with soggy breaded pork pieces. The spring rolls were mostly pastry with almost no vegetable filling. A travesty that somewhere with such poor quality food is still in business.

Food was okay, not the best. Stated on just eat delivery within 35-50 minutes. We waited over 2 hours for our food to be delivered. Tried to speak with just eat via their chat function which is an absolute nightmare. Delivery driver was very apologetic but still shouldn’t take over 2 hours from time of order. Probably wouldn’t order from lucky bowl again due to the time wait

Always order from Lucky Bowl with no problems. Arrived on time. However tonight’s meal was not the usual standard. Ribs were broken half inch grizzle, no meat. Rice overcooked. Chilli Chicken dish bland and had to reheat everything as Luke warm.

The food was amazing, will definitely be using here from now on! Only downside was it was a long wait from order to delivery, but the food was worth the wait. 5 star

First time ordering from this takeaway. Pleasantly surprised by the food quality. I will order from here again.

Chicken balls, spring rolls and wontons were over cooked and greasy, pork in Cantonese pork was boiled so much it was tasteless. Food was only warm. I have never had such a bad Chinese!

Had food here after walking the Great Glen Way. Portions were very generous and all three dishes we ordered were lovely.
