Lucky Bowl in Highland

Very average. Satays tasted funny and covered in congealed sauce, ribs overcooked and full of fat, 2 prawns in the special fried rice and chow mein too heavy on noodles. Food was also cold. First disappointment from Lucky Bowl and won't be back for a while.

Food tasted bland, no flavour and was really disappointing. weird textures too. would not order again. food was also delivered fat quicker than any chinese I've ordered before which makes me think it isn't made to order either. loads of it wasted and money wasted.

thought order had to be wrong as it was so small opened bag to find right order but so small!!usually have to leave half for next day but this time ate all within 1/2 hour never had this happen before!!

Excellent meal from Lucky Bowl, delivered bang on time, lovely and warm. Only negative was we felt the portion size of the salt & chilli chips was way too small for the price. Tasty enough though.

Placed an order. Called to ask about my order because I didn't receive my order. It was more than one and a half hours, my order still didn't arrive. I therefore phoned once again. Until that time, I was told they were not doing my order and failed to explain why. They didn't apologize and just hung up. Never order from Lucky Bowl again. Nasty business!

Workes are rude they don’t know how to deal with customers. They better teach there staff how to treat customers good and then focus on the food taste

The portions are small but the food was delicious

Lovely staff. Massive portions for the price and a cozy welcoming atmosphere. We would definitely return the food was delicious..I'd recommend sharing a main as we had enough food for at least four people with two starters and one side of chips . We had special friend rice and pork chow mein

the time keep getting moved we waited just under the 2 hour mark for the food and then it was only Luke warm when it arrived. the delivery guy pushed it in my fave a off he went. not going here again.

Everything tasted good except the sour soup, may have put too much vinegar

Hot when it arrived. The chips weren’t greasy. All the meats in my chefs special were tasty and mouthwatering. Well done a lovely meal and takeaway.

Food has arrived very late. Beef was grey n an odd colour of pink, curry sauce was thick and gloopy on top and pure water on bottom. Ribs were dry with no sauce. Awaiting delivery driver to collect. And trying to contact just eat for refund

Ordered on line in afternoon gor 5.30 delivery..came around 20 past . 1st time ive pre Ordered before itt actually opened so would def do it again

Salt and chilli chips- the chips are not crispy, poor quality they are soggy drenched in oil absolutely embarrassing I will not be ordering from you con artists again you should be embarrassed.Salt and Chilli chicken- poor quality chicken, breading falls off when touched, under seasoned terrible mess, Spring rolls- microscopic peckers poor filling and portion size, have a long look in the mirror shame on you for role playing as a Chinese restaurant.

Food took two hours to arrive from first ordering and had to call to see where it was to be told driver was on his way, food was fine but the two hour wait was definitely not worth it on a Wednesday night when it was ordered at 6:30 so didnt arrive till 8:30 when you have an impatient 5 year old who doesn’t understand why its taking so long

Food was good, delivery time after ordering was longer than expected

The box was open and the food was cold, I had 3 items missing, the driver found the items in his car and tried to deliver them 30 mins later, I politely them I didn’t want them, the whole box went in the bin, I also realised the restaurant has a poor food hygiene rating, shame on just eat for allowing places with poor hygiene on their platform😡

Early delivery which could have been an issue as I might not have been in. Portion size much smaller than indicated by price but it was good and not greasy. It was very, very spicy though.

Ordered at 18:40, received 20:30. Never had such long wait times when ordering from other restaurants via Just Eat. Nearly 2 hours which is is ridiculous! Very disappointing.

Ordered food came stone cold no customer service at all when called had food so many times from here never complained asked me to walk over and prove that it's cold I mean I ordered as takeaway so shouldn't have to walk over also maybe have your delivery staff to keep the food in bags where it stays heated, also when called back if the food getting collected I got answer can you just not be a normal person and heat it up in microwave, very rude lady on phone swearing etc

Good, tasty and faultless food was just disappointed at the delivery driver sending his kid who struggled carrying the bags and was swinging the munchie box rather than keeping it flat as all the food had slide to the bottom off the box and had forced the box open at the sides and food came out the box into the bag other than that good

Spring rolls and duck pancakes were cold. Order delivery time was rescheduled and then was later than the new time.

I had the most amazing chilli chicken with honey, flavour explosion in my mouth! I do recommend ! My belly applauding you ;-)

We order from you quite a lot & the food is normally good. Sadly tonight our food was very disappointing. The noodles had a funny taste to them & the rice was wet & looked like it hadn’t been ‘fried’ the chicken in one of the dishes was ‘fatty’ I don’t know if it was a different chef but sadly we did not enjoy our food tonight & spent nearly £50 on it🥲

Part of order, chicken balls missing. Called restaurant, they disputed as the separate bag went out with the order and they have cameras in the kitchen. I did suggest food still with the delivery driver, could they contact but they insisted order was intact. I asked for refund for missing items but they don't do refunds. Person on the phone said kitchen would make more and take it out of her wages!? I declined this offer. Shame, food we had was lovely. Customer service poor. Won't order again.

We ordered special sweet and sour. It didn't state that it was Cantonese sweet and sour so was disappointed in that

1 hour 35 mins for 2 salt and pepper chicken and rice that was like warm, when I called to ask how long it was going to be the member of staff hung up the phone

We went in at 5pm and we were the only customers. We were hoping to have a sit in dinner but we received a very soured face and unfriendly service. We were being ignored for a good ten minutes. She was to busy setting other tables instead of attending to us. It really made us feel very uncomfortable. By the time she approached our table. My friend then asked her for a set meal for two in the menu. She turned round to tell my friend that was for take away meals only. In the menu doesn't say for take away. It should be written under the set meals for two, three or four is only for take away. We decided to get up and left. If I could tick no star I would unfortunately there isn't a no star for me to tick.

Chips arrived cold we contacted them and had a very confrontational response then the same person came to my address and was very argumentative

Food was delivered hot and early, but was pretty bland. There were fatty bits of chicken and the rice was overcooked. Other dishes may be better but I wouldn't recommend the sweet and sour chicken.

just waited about an hour and a half for King Prawn Chow Mein and prawn crackers. it is utterly tastless. very disappointed

Ordered take away. The prawn crackers were extremely stale and ended up in the bin immediately. Starter was overcooked. The ribs had no meat on them, the wonton and prawn toast overcooked and was poor and the chicken satay greasy and overdone. The special chow mein was greasy and flavourless. Not our usual Chinese but have had from here before and wasn't like this.

the food was inedible unfortunately. too salty to eat the chow.meon and the ribs were too tough to enjoy. I have eaten from here plenty time before. I am currently trying to argue for a refund because the food was so bad but at the moment having no luck.

Lucky bowl are great. Every time we order from them, the food is great, it's hot, it's on time always and if not early, and the delivery people are always friendly. A great service, again and again! :)

Really not great. Crispy beef wasn’t crispy and all food was just very bland. Not impressed so won’t be ordering again sadly.

We yet again didn't get everything we ordered. This time none of our drinks and kids Ice cream. Disappointed kids. I want a refund but I'm having problems finding how to do it. I plan on stopping using this app if we can even get our order complete

Chicken and black bean not right. Too much black bean and the chicken had really odd texture. Would expect better quality for the price I’m afraid.

Singapore vermicelli were too oily and soft

Not sure what's happened to the Lucky Bowl. Their food used to be really good and portions ridiculously big. The last two times we've ordered the food has been edible and that's being kind. The red Thai curry I ordered arrived as a thick green Thai curry. The Thai chicken noodles were revolting, the sauce tasted only of vinegar! Two bed experiences, we will not be going for a third.
