Lucios Italian Restaurant in North Lincolnshire

Had a lovely meal last night at Lucio's. Food was absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced and staff were attentive. The restaurant was following government guidance all staff were wearing masks or visors, tables were spaced and sanitizer was provided. Thank you

So there we are, three of us, celebrating my birthday in a group smaller than six because you know it’s the law and all that. We get to near the end of our meal and a family of 4 walks in... Then a family of 5, then another family or 4 and so and so on. No masks, all hugging and kissing each other and swapping seats. There must have been 20+ of them sat in the same area of the restaurant (yes in tables of 6 but that is not the point.) When querying this with the manager their response is ‘they aren’t together they are all on separate tables’ and when we respond with ‘but they are all hugging and kissing and not wearing masks’ their response is ‘well they might be from the same household so I can’t stop them from hugging and kissing’ oh yes I’m sorry I didn’t realise they were a household of 20 🤦🏼‍♀️ I understand that people have special birthdays to celebrate and they want their family and friends there but most of us have had to sacrifice special occasions to try and beat this pandemic and avoid another lockdown. I didn’t travel 4 hours last weekend to see my Nan for her 70th Birthday when I could of just gone this weekend, gone to a restaurant with 20 of our family friends and had our own little ‘party’ at the back of the restaurant. Stop being selfish people, you wouldn’t believe we are currently in a pandemic.

First time me and my partner had been. And we have to say it was amazing the garlic mushrooms started was delicious and the cheese garlic bread my partner enjoyed very much. I then had the chicken and mushroom tagliatelle and it was delicious, my partner had the lasagna and I side of chips… let’s just say the lasagna was a very generous portion so the chips didn’t even get touched.

This used to be my favourite restaurant in the area, but after a very mediocre visit last night, I doubt we’ll be returning in a hurry. The service was ok, as always, but the food quality based on last nights visit has taken a huge nosedive from the previously very high standard that this restaurant has set, I ordered a simple arrabiatta, and eat was served resembled the type of sauce I’d expect in a packet pasta mix, very disappointing, the once excellent home made chips replaced with frozen style french fries, the whole experience was more like a pub meal than restaurant quality, a really disappointing visit, I hope it’s just a blip, but we won’t be back in a hurry

My favourite restaurant in North Lincolnshire. The food is gorgeous and the service is spot on. Always smiling, friendly and helpful. Can't fault this place!

Have been receiving my favourite meal on a weekly basis from this fabulous restaurant since they had to close their doors. Fab service all the time. Well done. Ty to all the staff for their continued hard work under these unusual and difficult times.

Hi We have placed an order at 5pm and after over a few hours of trying to reach out to the restaurant with more than 20 calls we never had received the order!! Absolutely embarrassing and frustrating!!! Extremely not existing customer service!! It’s embarrassing when you take the phone off the hook rather than deal with the issues with the customer!! Never again, thanks!

The food was amazing, the portion sizes were very big and tasted just as good as eating in (we are regulars!). The restaurant accidentally forgot a pudding as it was in the fridge not with the other bags but have resolved it by delivering it to us with an extra cheesecake as well. Food and service was absolutely amazing, would recommend to anyone and would get it again :)

Not visited for a while and was pleased to see the restaurant had had a redecorate and that the shabby sofas have gone from the drinks area. Food is always good here and the chilli garlic bread is the best anywhere! Service good.Will probably visit again soon.

It’s the first time we have visited in a while and we were not disappointed, there was enough choice for me, as a veggie and the food was delicious for a very reasonable price. They have given the restaurant a makeover and it looks lovely for it. Service as always was very good. We won’t be leaving it long before another visit.

First and last visit to this restaurant. We arrived at the restaurant as part of a large surprise birthday party. As the meals were all pre-ordered there were no delays in delivery. Mixed bag with food quality, and the portions were small. The steak was a hit, but the calzone was poor with no filling and very chewy and dry. Overall the general opinion about all the meals wasnt high. The only entertainment was a drunken guy shouting out for everybody to sing happy birthday to his wife. It was bland with no atmosphere

Christmas party for 6 people The service is teenagers ... very elegant. but without being served at work. waiting for over an hour for food. It's cold, and the penguins could live in the toilet. food good ... but expensive. no atmosphere was felt. neither a warm welcome nor thank you. a bill on a plate and 5 sweets for 6 people. Last night the family went to Lucio’s for a 40th birthday meal. There were 13 of us, adults and children. Excellent food and fantastic service. The choices and value for money were among the best we have had in various restaurants. Very friendly staff who couldn’t do enough to make our evening perfect. A big thank you to everyone at Lucio’s for a wonderful evening.

Fabulous food and very attentive staff as always. Family meal celebrating a birthday, children in the group who were well catered for. Loving the new decor too.

Been going to this restaurant for many years but not reviewed before. We booked for table for two at 6.30. Drinks order promptly taken, food order shortly afterwards. I had ribeye steak from specials menu, cooked medium, very tasty and virtually no waste. Excellent service. Fairly quiet at first but busy when we left. Know from personal experience it can get noisy with large groups, so if you want atmosphere go later.

Been a while since I'd eaten here so I was looking forward to seeing how it has evolved over the years. Lucio was always a great chef and his food didn't disappoint.My guests (family from Birmingham area) were very complimentary about the restaurant and food....to the point of breaking into song.My steak was as good as any eaten anywhere else so no complaints from me.The only (slight) criticism is that some of the young staff, although very pleasant and helpful, could do with a bit more training.The noise level was high, which we contributed do, but wasn't a huge issue as it does create atmosphere.

Anyone living underneath the Heathrow Flight Path would be at home here. Lots of drunk women shouting over each other to be heard and screaming crying babies add to the cacophony. I haven't had anything to drink and I already have a hangover. The food is lovely but very difficult to enjoy in such a painfully noisy environment.

Visited as a goodbye to a work colleague, we had all pre ordered, I have tasted better Italian food elsewhere. The restaurant itself is very dated and the service was of an ok standard. The food arrived luke warm and bland. Not really worth a second visit in my opinion.

Early meal for group of work colleagues- excellent food choice, very well presented and tasty. Only thing lacking was smiles from some of the staff who served well but didn’t look too happy! Can’t fault the chef!

Took the family ( 6 people ) for a meal for our ruby wedding and had amost enjoyable evening. The food was of good quality, expertly cooked and presented well. the staff were efficient , friendly and accommodating.

Visiting with family and decided to eat here as a known favourite. It was my first visit and I was not disappointed, great atmosphere and superb food! The tables impressed me as they are a good size so you are not huddled together like at some restaurants, which gives a more relaxed feel. The Ravioli and sauce were really nice, as were the main dishes. The garlic pizza bread was generous and tasty. Overall a fantastic place to eat!

The food was marvellous, however i felt i was racially discriminated by the female employees working at the front as they spoke to me in a negative tone. If you are a person of colour, I strongly suggest you find somewhere else to dine as they dont take kindly to coloured people. Definitely wont be coming here again!!

As I entered this poposturous establishment I had never been as offended as I have before. Being labelled a zulu by one of the staff members who looked like she had fought a lion before work! Never ordering from here again good josh by jove!

We booked on the off chance since it was around the corner from where we were watching Russel Kane.

Reasonably priced, clean and nice food with a good flavour. Would defo return and try again very soon.

Went here last night for a large family gathering. I must say it was a pleasant experience. I ordered Fillet al grigilia (spelling may be incorrect), and it was cooked to perfection! The actual size of steak was on the smaller side but nevertheless it was delicious. One of the best steaks I’ve ever had. The peppercorn sauce was also nice & flavoursome.

Visited here with friends on Saturday night, our first time in over a year. It was fairly busy and we were quickly served with drinks while we chose from the menu. We were taken to our table after only about 15 minutes and the starters were brought out straight away. My husband and I shared the antipasto, a great selection of meats, cheese, olives, tomatoes etc. and plenty for us both. For mains we had the Pollo Picante and the Seafood Ravioli, both were excellent as was the service. We will definitely return.

Sad to say the monkfish was more like sushi undercooked ....what a shame as it arrived well presented on the plate the wife's salmon special was very nice ....cheese board superb. ..Next time pasta

Used to visit regularly but not been for a while and won’t be going again. Surly and unhelpful staff. Food lacking in both quantity and quality.

Excellent food and service, clean and tidy, great atmosphere. Certainly recommended if you are local and definitely worth a trip a bit further if you aren't!

I came here recently with wife and baby, I seen it a few times driving past and decided to check it out.

Visited here Friday 31st Aug at 8.30. There were only 4 tables occupied at this time who all finished & left soon after we started. Therefore there wasn't any atmosphere which was a shame on a Friday night.
