Popped in on a snowy Saturday evening having booked a table for two. This place has been refreshed since I was last in but that was a long time ago. Service was good, friendly and prompt. Menu is small but that is ok and can be viewed as a good thing. Didn’t go in expecting to have pizza but saw what was being served as we entered and changed our mind. Pizza it was. Delicious, hot, freshly cooked. We were happy. Starters were good too, and wine selection good. Had a couple of glasses of wine each and a couple of cocktails too. Drinks are expensive but a good selection. Very enjoyable evening.

What a shame, we have been eating here on a regular basis since the first week it opened but how it has changed. At the beginning the food and service was superb although it was a very small menu and the choice limited it was varied and everything came out tasty and well presented. The menu is now diabolical and the service not much better.I ordered brochette but not as we know it., it was mozzarella with " chilli jam ", to be fair it did describe it on the menu but if you are going to change something beyond recognition then give it a different name. Chicken pate was ordered as well and that was a grey sloppy paste that was spread over an under cooked pitta bread, it looked and tasted revolting. The seabass consisted of very minute tail ends no bigger than a small sardine presented in a " soupbowl ". Their sea bass which was the normal size used to be presented on a normal plate with buttered new potatoes and all the extras that went with it but now you pay extra for any sides that used to come with the dish. The dessert Affrogato now arrives with one scoop of icecream as it used to be two. I suggest they stick to the pizzas and call it a pizza parlor. Daylight robbery. Can we turn the clock back to how it was in the beginning? Where art thou Liam?

Very mixed food on this visit. One of the party had seabass and it was so small a piece it was sent back. one of the pizza was tasty but too soggy and couldnt be picked up to eat. The arancini starter was great, my pizza was very good, pepperoni and 'nduja, and the beef shin pasta was very good. Unfortunately think the girls serving were overwhelmed and getting a smile out of any of them seemed impossible. shame really as it could be great.

Menu has some great choices on it, but we always end up with the same. Great Pizzas and great atmosphere. All the family enjoyed it!

It was very busy even on a wet and windy mid week. Yes I think they do need extra staff but the food is so tasty even though it's a very small menu. I would like to see some fish on the menu as before because if you don't eat rice or pasta then there is only one alternative left and that's the chicken which comes with baby potatoes. After a few visits then the chicken becomes a bit repetitive.

First time at this place. Arrived early for our table to a customer complaining at the desk. We were then shown to our table which had not been cleaned down from previous diners. Waitress bought us some water without asking which I liked. The restaurant was very hot. Radiator on full and it was incredibly busy. Took a while for the waitress to take our order. Staff looked very overwhelmed with the amount of customers. Some tables looked like they’d been waiting a while. Ordered food ok, however the wine did not arrive and there weee no staff to ask. Food arrived after approximately 30 minutes before wine. Soon rectified and they kindly took the drinks off the bill which was really kind as we had not complained so they obviously knew they’d messed up. Food was great as was dessert. I would recommend but really hope they sort the service as it really lets it down especially when you’re paying city prices in a small village. I will say that the restaurant really quietened down around 8:30pm and after that the staff were great so it’s no fault to them, they could clearly do with about 4/5 more staff on a busy week night. Will probably return but not for a while due to small menu and high prices.

We’ve visited this restaurant quite a few times since it opened. We were delighted that at last we had a decent Italian in the village after putting up with its predecessor for many years. It was doing very well. But not any longer. Has it changed hands already? Didn’t recognise any faces after having consistent staff on every previous visit. Another review suggests the main guys have left and this would seem to be true based on our experience. Service was ridiculously slow and it took nearly two hours to get our food. Other people were clearly complaining and one couple left without ordering. Maybe it was because it was a weekend but unfortunately it left a bad taste despite the fairly decent food. We won’t be going again for a while. Nearly £100 for three of us. That’s OK if the service is good, but as it is, no chance. Real shame.

The standards seem to be slipping since the two young men left. Twice we've been over charged , twice we left before having a dessert because it was taking so long to get service and twice we have been given wet wine glasses running in water that looked like they had just been rinsed under the tap. I'm sure they hadn't but I've never experienced this before, is it a new trend? Having said all that , you can't knock the food it's so tasty. Well done chefs after all this is why we come. It's only a small menu so if you visit often it will get a little monotonous so I'm looking forward to the new menu.

My wife took me here for my birthday and it was wonderful. I had a shin beef pizza - sounds weird but tasted wonderful. My wife had the hake which looked beautiful and came with some amazingly tasting potatoes. We also had the prawn started as a side which was excellent with some fantastic bread. The desserts were also divine. We cannot fault the food or the staff. The restaurant wasn’t overly warm though and we both kept jackets on.

Cannot recommend enough, the staff are amazing so friendly and attentive. The door host Ella welcomed us, showed us our table but then came back later to see if we needed anything and check if everything was ok. The food is beautiful but service is outstanding, very impressed will definitely return xx

Visited on a Saturday evening for my wife's birthday after seeing it advertised in Exposed magazine and reading about their extensive craft beer selection on their social media.  Disappointing from a personal perspective that the current menu on the website does not reflect the current situation (no steak, chicken liver pate or wild mushroom bruschetta) and the craft beer selection is in the process of being replaced by a cocktail bar (was presented with a menu that had almost all the beer crossed out in felt tip). On the plus side, nice ambience and helpful staff. Quality of the food (we went for the tomato bruschetta, beef shin/goats cheese pizzas and honeycomb cheesecake) was good and reasonably priced at £72 for two courses and a shared dessert. It just lacked the x factor of a rare speical Saturday night without the kids which was a shame.

After being recommended the restaurant we decided to visit and booked a table for a Friday evening. On arrival we were warmly greeted and told about specials on offer (including craft beers). The main dining area is upstairs and this is light, airy and well laid out. The waiting staff were knowledgeable and friendly. The menu is limited to 7/8 starters and the same for mains ( which I personally prefer) and a good range of wines to suit all pockets (including 3 red and 3 white by the glass if you prefer) plus craft beer and Italian lagers. My food was very good indeed, I started with Gambia’s Pils Pils followed by a Hake dish ( the fish was beautifully cooked) perhaps a few more vegetables would have been appreciated! My wife had the tomato bruschetta which was flavoursome and well seasoned followed by Italian meatballs (the board special) which she really enjoyed. I tried the craft beer (from Cloudwater brewery which was excellent) and my wife had a glass of Primativo . Service was very good and the price overall for food and drink was competitive, Would certainly go again and try other menu options.

Been meaning to call here for a long time while at the Northern General Hospital but managed it. It's very good, friendly staff and warm welcome. The menu is cafe style sandwiches, panini, etc. The food and drinks were very good hot and tasty. Really enjoyed it.

We had just arrived in Sheffield and needed a coffee. We were pleased we found this popular café which is located within Sheffield Cathedral. It is necessary to order with your table number at the counter and pay at the till. The coffee is delivered to the table. We enjoyed two good quality flat whites which cost £6.80. Thankfully there is also a toilet located in the café which was very appreciated after a long drive 😊.

Gran café, dos empleados fantásticos que son muy amables y nos cuidan. Asistimos a una reunión de negocios todas las semanas. Se ha convertido en nuestro lugar de elección. Esta área ha necesitado un buen café durante años y este es excelente.

We called in to buy chocolates and have a drink - sadly we found the hot chocolate inedible it was thick and gloopy. The chocolates were delicious however.
