Love Coffee in County Durham

Went in for a sandwich and hot drink at lunchtime. The drinks were OK as was my wife's baguette. My baguette, though, was as tough as old boots. Even though I ended up leaving half of it I still had indigestion. Won't be back I'm afraid.

Popped in here whilst shopping. Staff disinterested and cheese scone more of a bread roll. You know when someone is sighing when you order it's not going to be great......

The muffins are good, expeshialy the crimbo ones where you get a antlers on top. It’s literally the same place as BB’s across the way so the muffings/food is identical. Only go in here when BB’s is busy as the staff can be a little bit touch and go. The chocolate chip muff is succulent and you really hit the spot. Just watch yourself if you have diabeetees as your sweet tooth is given a work out when you come here

Been here today whilst shopping and I had a skinny latte and lovely cheese and ham baguette it was lovely and fresh the bread was crispy just how I like it staff friendly and helpful will definitely be back to try the cakes

There are a few places to get a coffee at Dalton park but this is one of our favourites the coffee and snakes are good the staff are friendly and you can relax without worry without interference. It’s clean, wheelchairs and children friendly- free parking.

Visited today staff were extremely busy due to holidays..but the service was as ever friendly and efficient this is my favourite coffee shop whenever I visit Thank you But remember you can multi task but only have one pair of hands ❤️

Pleasant surroundings with plenty of comfy seating inside and a few seats outside. The coffee was decent enough but the lady serving was a bit glum. Having said that, it was getting on towards the end of the day, so maybe a bit of fatigue was setting in.

Just called in for a hot drink, it was good, decent coffee and decent service. Prices fine, was clean and service good to. Just a quick visit.

Went to dalton park xmas shopping and seen this coffee shop looked nice so went in, its nicely decorated but staff not helpful then when we ordered jacket potato with salad it came with green flies all over salad leaves when told a member of staff we didn't even get a sorry or offered a replacement nothing she just walked away and never came back!! Terrible customer service I would definitely not return

Good coffee, good service. Pretty packed when we were there. A bit echo-ey due to high ceiling. Nice and clean though.

Two of us went in to ask for a bacon sandwich and a hot drink, told the woman taking the order three times - she was too busy watching how her staff were using the hot drink machine to listen - ended up with an extra hot drink which was not ordered - then a sausage sandwich was said - when it was bacon. After this, the sandwich was cold - asked for it to be warmed - was looked at like I was asking for something major - she then touched the sandwich to feel it was cold - when I said she had touched the sandwich - she was not happy - asked if I wanted another - said yes - she was not aware that I had put tomato ketchup in already - the 'new one' came and it had tomato ketchup in - so therefore not new....also when we left - they staff were laughing and commenting on our departure. Shocking and unprofessional behaviour - not to mention over priced! My hot chocolate came in a glass which overflowed over the tray!

We went into this cafe for a coffee and a sandwich chose a ham and cheese baguette when I cut the sandwich in half a big piece of grizzle fat came out . I went to the counter and asked for the sandwich to be changed only to be asked what was she supposed to do with the sandwich now she said I cannot re- sell it because you have touched it I said surely your not thinking of selling that again its full of thick fat .I told the lady behind the counter that I wanted another sandwich or my money back she reluctantly gave me another sandwich but glared at me for having the nerve to challenge the poor standard and quality of meat they put in the baguettes. There is so many cafes to choose from at Dalton Park you would think customer service would be uppermost in the training of staff.

Love Coffee is a pleasant cafe to stop off at for a coffee, they have a number of offers combining a drink and a sandwich or toasty for a reduced price. The sandwiches are tasty and well filled however be aware that upgrading from a medium drink to a large invalidates the offer and you will end up paying full price for your snack.

Great coffee on a Saturday morning along with a smile and a cheery word. Plenty of choice of seating and a pleasant environment for a quick recharge of the batteries. Thank you.

Nice place to pop in for a coffee and lite snack. Our favourite coffee shop in Dalton Park. Always a warm welcome from staff.

This is a bit of a mixed review while the tea,coffee and cakes where all very good this place is lacking something also seemed to be quite pricey

Good selection on baguette, muffins and coffee but please please try and smile. I have visited a number of times but the staff never smile. They also often disappear with people waiting a while to be served.

Across the way from BB and very similar. Pastries were a bit bland, but tea and coffee were good. Eating area is bright, but spoiled by loud electronic tone from some machine behind the counter.

This coffee shop just lacks something. The device is non descript. The cakes don't feel or taste fresh. There are better outlets on this retail park.

Had a lovely cup of coffee to break the stress of Christmas shopping. To be honest it wasn't our first choice but we couldn't get a seat at our first choice. We were happy with what we got and enjoyed it very much

La sopa que estaba pidió £3. 25 p la porción era minúscula. Mi amigo comentó sobre cómo pequeñas porciones como ella había ordenado la sopa. No tengo un apetito enorme, pero este era casi el ridículo. Le pedí al personal sobre el tamaño de la porción y me informaron de que tenían grandes bolos, me permito diferir y que nos permite 2 cucharones. Tienes 3 lonchas finas de pan francés con la sopa que necesitas lo contrario dejar muy hambrientos. No volveré.

For a place that's calls itself Love Coffee the coffee was terrible. My flat white and my daughters Americano was the weakest coffee i'e ever tasted. My BLT baguette was fine and my wife's jacket potato ok. Never again

Limited choice of fillings for the jacket potatoes that they advertise. No atmosphere at all, very dull and not at all inviting. The coffee was ok but not good enough to save the place from getting a very mediocre review. Won't go back and will...

Era un día lluvioso y con viento en nuestra visita al parque outlet y este lugar hizo un lugar ideal para descansar del tiempo, siendo aproximadamente en el medio del parque. Café y snacks tenían un precio razonable y las instalaciones eran espaciosas y limpias.

Enjoyed a panini from here, staff were lovely, the place is very clean, all the food is very well presented with signs and prices

After shopping we decided to have coffee, what a bad decision to go to love coffee it was awful Americanos had hardly any coffee and the flat white was weak and tasteless and a toasted sandwich was toasted on on side only.When my friends complained was told if she wanted more coffee she'd have to pay.So this is to warn people to go elsewhere

The coffee is great and reasonable price too unlike some coffee shops nearby?The toasted panini' are a great choice and quickly served. Great choice of sandwiches and cakes and just what you need for a quick break from the shopping.Best bit is the staff who are friendly and welcoming - something which other places could learn from.Thanks again and we will be back

There are quite a few places to eat in Dalton Park but I made the mistake of choosing this place as it looked quiet. I should have known better. I ordered coffee and what looked like a really nice Panini. The sandwiches are apparently made daily and there were loads of them left at 2 pm so not sure if that is true! I expected the panini to be toasted or put in a panini press.....not a misplaced expectation. What I got was a panini that was put in the microwave for a minute and a half. The cheese melted but the bread was soggy. Not nice.Won't be back.

Stopped for a break after shopping. The coffee was great (latte) and the muffins were very tasty. A good, value for money, coffee shop. Very reasonably priced.

We went in near the end of the day, wondering if there would be any food left, and were pleasantly surprised by the range on offer. We took advantage of the offer of £3.75 for a regular-sized coffee and a muffin. The regular cappuccino I had was actually a substantial amount (more like a Large from Costa), and tasted beautiful. Strong but not bitter, with lots of froth. My apple and cinnamon muffin was very, very moist and tasted really good. The chocolate chip muffin my son had was almost more chocolate chip than muffin!The woman who served us was friendly and polite, and it was easy to find a table that would accommodate my wheelchair. The premises were beautifully clean, too.
