Lotus Garden in Bury

Just got this and it was literally the worst chippy food I've EVER had GREASE trust me stay away. Both puddings looked 3 month old looked mouldy and dry as a bone inside. Chips looked and tasted triple fried 2 week old . Best thing was the gravy. Never again . Go to the welcome on parsonage street

Forgot the salt and pepper chips which was on the order and paid £4.50 for. Even had the receipt on the bag

The only positives were that the food was hot and came quickly. The chips were barely edible, just terrible. The food wasn’t good. Ended up binning it all. A waste of money. I’m so done with horrible takeaways.

Im disgusted genuinely. Chips were bland didnt even taste like chips , salt and pepper season stayed in the tub while pouring and what i can only describe as onion water landed on my “chips”, my special chow main absolute reeked the only thing that i could of eaten was the beef but the rest of it put me off so I didn’t , my girlfriend only managed to eat half her food because she drowned it in sweet and sour sauce, and i didnt even check my curry sauce because i had no edible food to eat it with . Im so angry i dont even have a pictures to show because i dashed it straight back in the bag and into the bin. The best part of the meal was the delivery driver and thats only cos he made me laugh. £22.40 worth of food i i didnt even get three mouths full out of it thank you for you amazing hospitality. ( also what Chinese takeaway sells salt and pepper seasoning separate to the chips ?😂 grubby that.)

It's A Joke This Take Away Can Call Something Salt And Pepper Crispy Chicken When It Doesn't Even Have Chicken In It They Should Be Calling It Chuck It In The Bin Salt And Pepper Bits They Charge £6.40 When It Needs The Bin They Charge More For That Then The Actual Salt And Pepper Chicken Which Is £6.30

Ordered from here today and both meat and potato pie meals were sour and off, took it back and the lady thought it was funny and knew the food was off before selling it. Lifted the pie up smelled it and said yeah one of the bad ones.

Food quality isn’t as good and food wasn’t very nice. Salt and pepper stuff was just peppers and onions and not good. Chicken also rubbery

Has this place changed hands? The meat was of poor quality, the chow mein was tasteless and the curry sauce was watery. Usually everything is perfect!!

Best Chinese food in Bury. Been a customer here for years. Sometimes we order through Just Eat online for delivery or we pop in to takeaway. Parking right outside the shop with easy access for disabled. Varied menu with which they are flexible with your requirements. Always friendly.

Thought I’d place an order after a recommendation. I’ve never spoken to such a rude woman as this. . Suffice to say I didn’t place my order. Horrible woman.

I really don't see what all the fuss is about. We decided to try something new on a Saturday night and ordered from Uber Eats. The food was hot but that's were the good part ended. The Kung Po chicken was listed as hot and spicy but my partner who hates spice ate it and declared it flavourless after I pulled a face. The salt and pepper chips were soggy. Our mains had more veg than chicken and the sauces were bland. Even worse our crispy salt and pepper chicken tasted of oil! No spice at all! The most bland disappointing Chinese I've ever had- for the price you expect better. I will not be returning.

First time weve eaten here and it definitely wont be the last. Got chow mein and special with chilli delivered by just eatfor me and the wife. The food was hot, plentiful and damn tasty. 8 in our family who all love Chinese so good move lotus garden. See you again soon. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

I have ordered from here several times, I usually have it delivered. The food always comes earlier than stated or on time. It is hot, packaged well, no spillage. The food is excellent,, so delicious. Potion sizes are very generous. I would highly recommend them..

Ordered the salt and pepper snack box which from the menu sounded worth the £15 price, with an estimated delivery time given at 1 hour..10 minutes later my food was at my door 🤔 discovered that the food wasn’t fresh, everything in the snack box was dried up and looked to have been reheated. Phoned the shop only to have the owner quibble over sending a fresh order and with no offer of a refund either. Last time of ordering. Piss poor service all round

Just had our order , Steak n Kidney pie was like cardboard and the chips were like rubber and couldn't find 1 decent chip in the whole lot, taste like they was probably sat In the warmers all day along with my pie. Disappointed

Ordered from the Lotus Garden from just ear for the first time on Thursday night. I have to say this is one of if not the best takeaway in Bury for Chinese food. The delivery service was very quick and earlier than expected. The food itself was top quality, it was packed very well and tasted lovely. The food was soon eaten. Deffo ordering from here again. It's a five star rating from me.
