I ordered for the salt and pepper chips (medium spice), beef chow mein (mild spice) and crispy chicken in sweet chilli sauce (medium spice) as a family meal. We don't normally eat chinese food but thought give it a go; numerous people I know recommended it and since halal gave us confidence to go try. The salt and pepper chips was really nice, we both thoroughly enjoyed it; best thing out of the three. We had it medium spice so was abit much on spicy side as had lots of chilli seeds and flakes so next time we'll try the mild version. Jam packed flavour which threw both of us off. The beef chow mein meal was decent. Beef was well cooked and flavours were nice. Missus didn't like it as much as myself but must be a guy thing lol. The fried chicken in sweet chilli sauce my wife thought was ok but I didn't enjoy it personally. I felt the chicken was bit rubbery considering it was fried chicken, but maybe this was so as it was flooded in the sauce. Probably thats just the way it comes. I'll definitely come again to order for the salt and pepper chips

Having someone not from the ethnic background never really goes well, as these are gujraattis' serving oriental cuisine, we were sceptical, one of our circle is familiar what this food SHOULD taste like as they are from China, and they were offended. Food is rather generic and you can barely taste the difference in cuisine, it seems like everything is the same, with different names, like salt pepper chips are actually cheap quality fries tossed in some spices for 10 seconds and served. They have been open a while so they should have grasped decent customer service, charging people what their menus and offer boards say, not adding on amounts randomley. we were told a price, then went to pay, charged extra, then on collection after food was ready, said we had underpaid -oh and they presume you know they only take cash!!! Place is setup to lure you in to a possible genuine food experience - sadly, the result is a disappointment. We really wanted this to be better, oh well

I ordered from here first time, as it was halal and it’s not often you find a halal Chinese takeaway! Well I wish I never did! I ordered my food at 19:00pm and I was told it would be 25-30 minutes, so I set of at 19:10 and got there for 19:39, once I arrived i rang just to make sure I my food was ready as my baby fell asleep in the car, when they answered he asked for my name and then told me to hold, he then came back and said it wasn’t ready but they would start making it now, well at that point I was fuming I rang 40 minutes ago, I explained this to him and all he said was we will start making it now, I said it should been ready as I rang 40 minutes ago and you informed me it would be 25-30 minutes not 45-1 hour otherwise I wouldn’t of ordered and traveled half hour, well he accused me of lying and said I didn’t ring at 19:00, so I said I can show him the call on my phone but he said was okay, anyway once I got the food no apologies or anything, he was very rude. I got home and opened up the food and was greeted with nothing but millions of red chilly flakes, as you can see from the picture, you wouldn’t even feed that food to a dog it was just what looked like a few bottles of chilly flakes poured onto the food! Not only did I waste £23 pounds plus fuel. I wasted my time and took my daughter out in freezing cold for this trash!! Never again, I never leave reviews but this really annoyed me, if food was okay I would left it but the food was just the icing on top!!

My regular go to for indo chinese food..by far the besttttttt chinese food ever. The employees there are also the nicest people you will ever speak to in person or over the phone which always makes the experience ten times better. I ordered the hot and sour soup, the salt and pepper prawns and the sesame prawn toast today and again like always everything was on point and exactly how I wanted it. Never fails me and can eat it over and over again! If you haven't tried it yet you're missing out and need to get yourself down there ASAP. Don't have any pictures because I couldn't wait lol but trust me you won't regret it 😊

I rang the takeaway over a period of 45 minutes and not once did they answer the phone however in between the calls they were taking other calls as the lines was busy twice. They pick and choose when and who to answer the call too. Very disappointing.

I wouldn’t recommend me and my boyfriend got a Chinese from here The sweet-and-sour balls come in the sauce and they was all soggy, the Salt-N-Peppers chips tasted like they had never met salt or pepper just Aldi‘s own chilli flakes 🌶 The Beef chow mein was okay they beef was A bit rubbery but the noodles were good.

The worst Chinese food I've ever eaten, Prawn fried rice had six prawns and was just a sticky, lumpy mess. Curry sauce is tasteless and lumpy, the chips were refried rubbery chunks. The prawn crackers had no crunch and the chicken chow mein had three small pieces of chicken hidden underneath. Absolutely terrible.

Ordered the crispy beef in cantonise chillie sauce it wasn't nice at all was bland the beef wasn't crispy and you hardly got any meat il never order from here again the only thing that was nice was the chips and rice the meal was very disappointing to say the least I had put the sauce all over my rice with the beef wish I hadn't as least i could of eaten the rice it went in the bin and I tried here cos of some of the other reviews but sorry I did now as worst take away I've ever been to

How do these bharuchis do it. Me and my late mother love the food from here. She would empty her plate on a sunday night and thank me for getting it in. Nope, I thank lotus garden for making such good and authentic chinese food day after day.

Noodles, ribs, salt and pepper wings, Manchurian chicken, egg fried rice and all the rest was all on point, very friendly welcoming staff and the food is the best in blackburn, my guests were very impressed, I would give it a 6 star if I could, food was very tasty and everything was perfect, thank you

Salt & pepper chips - the only thing I order from here after being recommend by a friend. Omg it is delicious. Had it on a number of occasions and it's just as tasty each time. Excellent customer services as well. Nothing to fault from me.

Someone from work recommend to my husband to try this takeaway so we decided to try. We got two Manchurian soups and two chicken fried rice .The chicken fried rice was so blend and tasteless and the Manchurian soup was to sweet. If you like blend food and have not had tasty food then you sure must go here as they great at giving tasteless food and charging to much for it. I am sorry lotus garden I don't recommend you.

Very poor customer service. Was previously given wrong food - didn't complain This visit was not a great experience, customer service very poor.. The sauce tub was left loose so the sauce went all over my clothes and on my car seat. Contacted them and they didn't take accountability and kept pushing blame ob us, car seat has been ruined and all the sauce has left a really big puddle of stain. And my clothes are also ruined where it leaked on my lap They practically said its not their problem once it is collected and left their premises although it was inadequate packaging and we stressed but got the blame. Very poor customer service and the food well wasn't the best but ok, however the chips were just standard chips.. Better from Aldi supermarket. They weren't the traditional chips as they should have been for a place like this. Have recommended many people in past including family but now would say KEEP WELL AWAY if you want good service and better food as this is just your average food place only good thing about it was the salt and pepper nuggets. I will never go to this place again nor would I recommend anyone else again. Thanks for the agro and unprofessionalism and lack of customer service.

Waited nearly 3 hours for delivery as driver hadn't got a clue. We were 15 minutes away. The staff I have to say were very helpful and the food was nice but obviously not very warm.

Authentic and tasty dishes, we ordered 8 different dishes, all of which were spot on. Customer service was amazing even offered to take food out to the car. Social distancing also implemented.

Well what can I say!! The food at this place is so authentic and so delicious that on one occasion we've had a takeaway delivered all the way to Warrington . My 17 year old son actually dreams of getting the beef chow mein from here. For a family who love to cook and eat far eastern food, finding such a good halal chinese is really special.The food is such good value for money and the menu is quite extensive(not expensive !!) . I believe the meals are all served with a smile. Customer service cannot be faulted and despite the place being busy , orders are well organised and delivered on time as and when promised. Fantastic. Keep up the good work !!

Halal Salt and pepper wings were nice tasty and crispy. I like a bit more “char” on my fried rice (Easier to achieve on day old rice) personally but I’m sure they would accommodate if I specified as the customer service was nice and polite. I will go back and try sauce dishes

It's a nice alternative to your traditional halal options in blackburn but not something to Wright home about.

Ordered the Singapore chow mein and salt and pepper nuggets...asked them to make it as spicy as possible And spicy they did...incredible heat that doesn’t overcloud the flavour of the dishes itself Very quick and prompt service 5 stars just is not enough stars to describe them

Oooh what can isay .....😋😋😋😋😋we ordered Manchurian soup was very tasty. Manchurian crispy chicken and noodles very tasty😋😋😋😋😋, Sheczwan Prawns not too good found them sweet 🤔🤔🤔🤔. Salt and pepper chips 😋😋😋😋👍👍👍👍. Food was delicious except for the Prawns dish. Good service would definitely go again.

What I love about this place is that it is consistently good! The food is always ready when they say it is, the food is always piping hot and most importantly it is always delicious! You have got to try their special black bean sauce noodles. This place never lets you down and the customer service is great too. Highly recommed as they are the best chinese in Blackburn!

One of the very few Halal places in Blackburn where you can get good quality authentic Chinese food. Good prices and good portions that leave you full. Also VERY good Custormer Service, the lad at the front Huzaifah, is very friendly, curteous and respectful, he will kindly explain to you what each dish consists of and what it goes well with. Honestly I'd give this place 5 stars just for his manners Mash Allah as it's very rare to come across people like that nowadays, so Allah bless him and keep him safe and happy Insh Allah.

Very quiet takeaway restaurant based in Blackburn Lancs one of the lads at work recommended me to this place telling me the food is awesome! Unfortunately was a proper let down don't let the food pictures trick you to going to this place yes the presentation looks appetising but the food taste was below par ingredients didn't seem fresh and the meat was really smelly and full of slimey fat! The rice wasn't edible almost like it was stuck in the fridge for a few days and then reheated and served! The local lads from Blackburn tend to eat the beef ribs saying it is amazing but I have had better halal Chinese around the north west!!

Doesn't have a traditional menu, long wait,tasteless.

What an absolute delightfully pleasant experience. Never quite had a meal so deliceaux. Maqnifique!
