Lotus in Torfaen

went for a late night snack on my way home,never been there before,although i live local,i was starving,had chicken balls and sweet and sour sauce,the sauce was ok,but the so called chicken balls where awful,they were not balls they were like strips i couldnt find the chicken for the batter,the batter was so thick and greasy when you bit into them it was really bad,i landed up feeding them to my dogs,for the price they were bad,never go there again,i usually buy from out of town.

Generally pretty quick delivery, within 20 minutes, can be a bit busier on weekends. Food is always hot and usually good. Great for local convenience if you don't want to cook and want a Chinese. They deliver locally and you get free dishes depending on how much you spend.

I moved to Blaenavon in January and treat myself to at least one take away from here every week. The food is always tasty, fresh no matter what I order. Highly recommend

Love this Chinese as our food tastes fresh.We have chicken noodles which are very tasty and they arnt your typical sloppy noodles!.we also have the salt and pepper chicken wings whoch are lush!!..Very friendly staff ans great service!.

easy communication on telephone ordering and prompt delivery by friendly drivers the roast duck in plum sauce is very easy to recommend - yummy.

Had shredded duck . The sauce was less than half full and the duck was more was like bread crumbs . Will never go there again

La comida aquí es espantosa. Arroz rancio sabor. Platos principales aguado sin sabor y porciones de pollo ha reducido considerablemente a lo largo de los años. Nunca regresaré. También tienda está helada. Sentimos realmente lo siento por la mujer joven muy agradable que estaba trabajando en la barra envueltos en varias capas de ropa sólo para probar y mantener caliente. Seguramente hay anyroad regs a seguir. Nunca nunca nunca de nuevo y yo aconsejaría a la gente que vaya más lejos que nosotros Lotus en blaenavon

Great place to eat in Blaenavon always freshly cooked and polite cashier who takes your orders. Really great value for money very clean and tidy place which the owners make you very welcome.Best food in Blaenavon.

the Chinese food is extremely good. when it is delivered it is piping hot and delicious and a reasonable price. i'm not sure if they still deliver, that would need checking out. well worth having a take-away meal

We travelled to Blaenavon for a bank holiday break; both myself and my partner were very impressed with the quality of the food cooked here possibly the best Chinese for we have had outside of China.

I have used the Lotus in Broad Street several times and have yet to have a bad meal. The food is excellent, with a wide menu for a takeaway.

This takeaway is very good at portions and fairly priced! Delivery is very quick and efficient. Great service.

Ordered over £40 worth of food to be delivered. When it arrived the order was incorrect, so we contacted them and they did replace the rice dishes. The chicken balls had so much batter around them it was more like bread. 2 of us found hair actually inside the batter. Will definitely not be using them again, will jump in the car and find somewhere else.
