had a strong taste of burnt old oil right through the meal, terrible meal this time

the ribs and BBQ sauce in the ribs had no flavour at all the driver was really nice tho

Not the usual quality from you especially the chow mein and cantonese style chicken

delivery early. food abysmal, and if you read my previous complaint you will know why. soggy chicken bald full. of onions! chow mein full of beansprouts! chicken in black bean watery tasteless and full. of carrots!! for the cost of this it was appaulling

all okay apart from crispy shredded beef I said no veg and it was supplied.

beef very hard and some of it stringy couldn't eat it, not enough crunch in the chow mein quite soggy

food was tasteless sauce had no flavour the pork ball had no flavour to the meat

Food was SWIMMING in grease. Chips were undercooked and in a bag that full of grease it fell apart when I lifted it out of the bag it came delivered in. Absolutely awful

we have regular, but the 2 meals today was very bland. seemed and no salt and something else missing

Couldn’t eat the food the beef in the chow mein was over cooked the egg fried rice was cold the curry sauce was cold and lumpy and the chips wasn’t cooked won’t be ordering again

so yummy, although the rice and noodles were just a little mushy but might just be because i ordered 30 mins before closing.

Half of the food was burned and was most likely prepared a while ago and was used when it was supposed to be thrown, probably won’t be ordering food from here again.

this was by far the worst Chinese I have ever had. the chicken curry was saved by the chicken as the sauce was as thick as wallpaper paste and had very little flavour, the chips were in edible they were not cooked and grey in colour. I put them in my oven at home to try resurrect them but alas not even the dog would eat them.

chips were cold and rock solid. half the bag wasn't edible. rest of my food was hot and tasted okish

Unfortunately my food was not okay to eat as some of the meat was undercooked and not edible which was very disappointing

chips microwaved even my dog turned them down not good at all. the rest was ok at best. won't be ordering again.

Food quality was awful, the crispy shredded beef tasted of nothing, couldn't even identify it as beef.

Tasted very stale and the chips were soaking wet chicken was hard abs chewy and curry was too thick to pour it was like a thick paste . Not good at all

pork balls were dry overcooked batter all split open no wonder meat was dry as a board ..worst food ever had and I always use .. never again 😒

I have always ordered from Chan's and the food has always been fantastic, but last night I ordered the basics, chicken balls, chips, chow mein and satay chicken skewers and not one thing was edible. The dough on chicken balls were under cooked and really doughy, the chicken satay skewers were dry and tough - no sauce and going down in lumps, the chips you could chip a tooth on, and the chow mein arrived freezing cold. All in all, fuming that I spent £35 on a completely inedible meal.

Food wasn’t great at all missing items which means we all ate our food cold as it was a family meal well suppose to be £50 odd quid but definitely not worth the money at all. Was told amazing Chinese but definitely doesn’t seem it at all

Bad I ordered milk tea and slush but driver didn’t give me that only food my choiw main was good nice but my wife food the meat was like rubber

Missing a vital part of the order!

I love Chans and it is my go to! However we on this particular occasion we didn’t have an update from the store to say it was leaving, was over an hour late and when I called there was no answer. We looked out the front door and saw that they had delivered it but there wasn’t even a knock on the door. The food had to be reheated and put the quality of it off.

A brilliant experience. Food was so good, quick delivery, polite courier. Yum yum yum. Highly recommend Chans!

couldn't find the shop?? the postcode takes you around in circles, l was staying in a local Hotel and a stranger to the area i used Google maps with the shop postcode entered after driving around for 30 minutes I phoned the shop I was given directions using landmarks which meant nothing to me (three word location would be better), gave up looking in the end and didn't hear anything from the shop thanks for nothing.

The worst of all time if this place paid me a grand to eat a chicken ball id double the grand to 2 grand and give them the 2k for me not to eat the chicken ball

Fantastic service and great dishes as always from these folks. Can't beat them.

food was 1.5 hours late. 3hr total delivery time.

I ordered last night at 6 40pm, website said '45 minutes ' my confirmation said 7.26pm. At 8.15pm I rang to be told my food was in the kitchen being prepared. Still nothing at 9pm so rang again to be told it was out for delivery. The stone cold food arrived at 9.20pm. NEVER AGAIN

Would leave zero stars if I could. Ordered early, no confirmation received. Called to be told "our systems are down", and "I'll get a refund". If the systems are down it's strange how they still managed to take my money. Not the first time this has happened, taking my custom elsewhere. No refund received - where's my money Chans?

Said delivered on app but when I rang they said it was still sat in kitchen... That was over an hour ago and my food just turned up. Rice cold and hard and there was no taste to the BBQ sauce or the curry sauce

Ordered from here at 5 it's now 8 no sign of food nobody answering phone it seems they've done this to a few people thankfully it was cash so haven't lost out. Ordered something else now so if it turns up they can do one.

I ordered chicken, chips, peas gravy and curry, it arrived but order was not right curry was ok but did not come as chicken chips peas gravy , chicken and chips in bag, chicken was over cooked no gravy or peas ,they said they don't do peas yet on menu. time u rang um and they sent gravy up my food was cold plus gravy was so lumpy what a waste of money

Absolutely inedible - literally tasted like they had added 0.5 litres of salt to our meal! So disappointed as in past they were so great! Money totally wasted and food as well because it all had to be binned

So annoyed. I called four three times over the space of an hour ti be told it was “on its way” delivery was said to be 21:15. At 22:30 the good as stone cold and the sauce was almost solid.

Pre ordered for my partner at 11:40 this morning for delivery at 18:30 as I was going to be on a plane coming home from Spain, and I rang when I landed stating where was it and was left in main entrance at the wrong flats! Who does that?

Ordered food at 4pm to be delivered at 7pm. My food never arrived and they would not answer the phone, after 2 hours I drove down to the restaurant to be told my food was out for delivery, I went back home and waited another 45 minutes, still nothing so i drove back down and they had stopped cooking and told me there was nothing they could do and I had to request a refund through uber. Uber told me that my order was ineligible for a refund. I went through PayPal and got my money back after a month. I will never use this place again. Absolutely disgusting service and just blatantly stealing people's money.

Food was freshly cooked, nice portions, arrived quickly too,we were missing one side dish which after quick call to the restaurant item was delivered straight away. Overall it was a nice meal and would order again.
