Dreadful meal. Customer service non existence. Awful, have no words. Not worthy of 1 star

Ordered last night, kept telling us it was coming. 3 hours later still nothing. No apologies when we rang just kept being told it was still coming. Never got our Chinese!

Asked to be exact time I noted on drivers notes and was 20 minutes early

I was not impressed tonight. only good thing I can say is the delivery was on time. I did not like the chicken balls, more batter than chicken and they was not crispy more

Order at 6:15 food final turned up at 8:35. After repeatedly telling us it was on its way. Waiting for over two hours to get my order is not acceptable.

Disgusting 68 pound order tiny portions food freezing and the chicken balls were still raw !!!

The food was absolutely stunning, full of flavour and lovely and hot!

Seaweed was missing from the order. Duck was extremely tough and chewy. Shame as when we ordered last month food was amazing.

Food is okay, but the delivery service is dreadful. It's painfully slow often around 1.5hrs

at 5.03pm app said order on the way to be delivered between 5.05-5.25. 5.30 I clicked order is late + said text was sent to restaurant + they'd respond in 5 mins. They didnt. I called 7+ times, they didn't answer. I logged another order is late + it said to call, she answered said was my address before I said who i was, so she clearly knew my order was significantly late. she then said driver had left with other orders. driver arrived, didn't speak, barely looked at me. Awful.

Order Crispy Shredded Chicken. It was rock hard. Felt like batter only and no chicken. Half my order was missing (two chicken ball, rice, chips and sauce trays) Called the restaurant they sent them out straight away but still forgot the sauces. So disappointed.

Our order was an hour late, with no updates from the restaurant, My husband and I had to chase our order. I can understand they have their own delivery drivers but updating the app can't be hard. won't be ordering again.

I've been a loyal customer of Chans for years, and I've always praised their food, especially the Kung Pao, which is hands down my favourite. The flavors are incredible, and the quality of the dishes is consistently 10/10. However, I regret to say that my recent experiences have been disappointing. In the past few months, I've noticed a significant decline in service. My last three orders took between 1.5 to 2 hours to arrive, and each time I had to follow up multiple times just to check on the status. On one occasion, after waiting an hour and a half, I called only to be told they had no idea when my order would be sent out. I ultimately had to go pick it up, which meant we ordered at 7:30 PM but didn't eat until 10 PM. Additionally, one order was missing an item, which was delivered later but couldn’t be enjoyed with the meal. I also had a frustrating experience when I visited the restaurant for a drink. I waited 10 minutes in line with only one person ahead of me, and it was frustrating to see the staff member taking such a long time to prepare a single bubble tea. When it was finally my turn, the employee informed me that my drink would take 15 minutes to make. Waiting 25 minutes for one drink, especially after such a long queue, felt outrageous, so I decided not to order. While the food continues to be exceptional, the delivery and service experiences have made it difficult to justify ordering from Chans anymore. It’s truly a shame, as I have always enjoyed the food here and appreciated the quality. I want to emphasise that my feedback is in no way a reflection of the chefs—they deserve all the praise! I hope the service can improve, but unfortunately I’m not sure I’ll be ordering anytime soon.

Never order here came late plus the driver had no change so i didnt even take the food a sent it back to them worst place never order here

Disgusting Used to be one of the best around. Did an even have napkins. Told me to throw my rubbish outside in the bin 🤣 The prawn crackers they were getting them out of a big black bin bag and put in them into seafru bags 🤮🤣

Wrong toppings delivered with noodle boxes meaning food wasn’t eaten and ended up straight in the bin. Used to get great food from here so a real shame the quality of service has gone down over the years.

Chans is always my go to but the last 2 orders have been late (first by 50 mins) but order is changed to delivered so can no longer track. Food was due in the last half an hour but yet again says delivered but still waiting

Took over two hours to arrive ordered at 6:50 came at 9pm didn't even want the food by that point as way past tea time and was cold also seemed to have stopped doing free prawn crackers normally great but tonight was terrible.

Food was stated as delivered but never was. When I rang the store they only told me then that they had an issue and that it was coming from another store. Waiting over an hour still no food. When ringing them again they said the driver will be another 30 minutes. So i cancelled the order as we had waited 2 and a half hours and still no food. Even if we did have it, it would have been stone cold. Absolute poor communication

Can be a bit hit and miss, but when it’s good it’s good, noodle boxes are good, lots of meat, good portion.

Food is fantastic and always nice however tonight it took well over an hour. No updates from the restaurant and I had to call for an update. Ended up over 30 mins late.

Dry and overcooked. Chicken balls were so old and overcooked they’d all split and couldn’t cut them . Food wasn’t hot

Chips were like floor sweepings, Hong Kong style sweet and sour was awful too. The chicken is supposed to be completely marinated and covered with sauce, but mine looked like chicken nuggets with some sauce drizzled over the top. Maybe it was a bad night for then but the last time for me.

Asked to change the sweet & sour to curry sauce but they didn’t .chill chicken wasn’t the best had better .

Ordered chicken balls but got spring rolls instead. Ordered noodles with black beam and soy sauce, but the noodles came pretty much dry with minimal if any sauce. Not the usual standard.

Lovely food, delivery experience good. We’ve had food from here a few times now and really enjoy it. Always tastes great and fresh.

Food never arrived but payment was taken for £36

Absolutely shocking no one should bother, ordered from here twice within the past few months, first time my order (2 things) took 1hour 45mins to arrive, everytime I rang they kept saying it was on its way. Ordered a second time tonight gave them the benefit of the doubt, this time it took 2 hours for it to come, same thing on the phone again. Also two items. This time one item was missing, and the shop had actually closed by the time the order was delivered. Shambles of a place.

Food not very hot. No peas in curry. Had a mix of chicken and beef in the curry and no shrimp in the rice which I was disappointed with. Pancakes rolls have shrunk a lot

I've ordered from this place dozens of times but my most recent experiences were both bad. I had the wrong food last time. This time the chips were black and soggy and the curry was stone cold and almost solid, like it had just been taken put of the fridge. I will be trying somewhere else next time

Forgot to put sweet and sour sauce on my Cantonese style chicken. Ruined my meal was so dry

Unfortunately, I was very disappointed, 2 out of 6 orders were not delivered. Tasteless food. Unfortunately, I will not order there again.

chicken curry had mushrooms and peas in it and the sauce was quite watery, some of the chicken tasted a bit off, egg fried rice didn't have any egg in it and the salt and chilli chips were not very nice.

Food is lovely as always but I would like to say that the delivery driver decided to walk into my nans gate without permission when there was a path she could have walked around to go to the front door. I am just saying this bevwuse I do not agree with the fact she decided to come into the gate herself without saying anything because nobody was in the garden waiting for the food, we were waiting in the living room

I’m normally a good customer. Never had a problem with the situation before some attempt were missing and I’m not quite happy about it to be honest and very upset about it as I’ve never had this problem before so I would like to request a refund if that’s okay.

Absolutely vile, sauce watery and chicken balls burnt on outside raw in middle. Rice rock hard couldn’t even eat it. Waist of money avoid. There attitudes are almost worse than there food and that’s saying something.

Salt and chilli chips, and chicken balls where burnt, the chill was cremated that’s all you could taste. Steak rolls burnt also. Unusual to be honest.

The delivery was fast however there was curry sauce placed in my 3 in 1 tray meal with the crispy shredded beef. I could not eat the meal as I do not like curry sauce. The extra curry sauce was for my partners meal.
