What a lovely meal delicious and portions are a great size. Thank you we will be back.:) We have no decent takeaways or restaurants where we stay in the borders. They have all either failed their food hygiene inspections or charge ridiculous amounts as they are greedy. Thanks again.

Amazing food, this is the 3rd time I have ordered food from here and all 3 meals have been Amazing. The meal for 1 was superb. Thank you, you have restored my faith in Chinese cuisine.. Sheepydaz 😀

The food was over half and hour late and the sent the wrong noodles , wheat with chicken instead of rice noodles and I don't eat meat! When I called for a replacement/refund the girl said she'd have to speak to the manager and they'd probably give me money off my next order! I emailed to complain properly. No response, no discount, no nothing.

The Kung po was inedible. The sauce was congealed and it tasted foul. I called, first time ever complaining, hoping they could help but they refused. The girl on the phone pretty much told me that I just had to deal with it, they wouldn’t do anything to fix it and they can give me a discount next time. Why would I spend more money if this is the experience I’ve had?! Truly awful service and food so disgusting it went in the bin. Please see photo of foul smelling, rubbery chicken in sauce that doesn’t move. Don’t call them for help, they couldn’t care less that they’ve sent you rotten food. They have your money and they don’t have to fix it.

My wife and I ordered a selection of food from here. I had the chicken in orange sauce with egg fried rice and my wife ordered the salt and chilli munchie box. The portion size was incredible and the freshness and taste means that this is definitely going to be our new regular takeaway. My wife changed a couple of things in the munchie box and they were very accommodating in doing so. Delivery was quick and food piping hot. We can't wait for our next one!!!!

Me and my sister wanted to order Chinese but it was a Tuesday so our normal Chinese that we like, Yu, was closed so we ordered from here because a menu was put through our postbox. I ordered crispy shredded beef in honey chilli sauce and she ordered king prawn chow main and chips including delivery this was about £27 (far too much) when it came we opened the box to discover disappointment after disappointment. The chips were very soggy to the point the paper bag was soaking wet and ripping apart. Once we managed it to get the soggy chips into a bowl we opened the other boxes. The chow main was mediocre at best the prawns tasted like dirty water. The chicken fried rice was dark brown and the chicken was dry and it overall tasted bad. My crispy beef was THE WORST I’ve ever had it looked, tasted and smelled like canned dog food with jelly. It was supposed to be honey chilli SAUCE but it was sticky clear jelly with grey meat that was not “crispy” in the slightest. The prawn crackers were thick and tasted like water, not good. The only half decent part of the meal was the free spring rolls, the rest went in the bin. Very very disappointed. Waste of almost £30 and from the reviews I’ve read there is no point in asking for a refund or anything. I hope these photos don’t make you feel sick

Ordered from here last night for the first time and we got a few different meals, all were very tasty but the chow mein was a highlight! Staff also very friendly. Will be our new chinese from now on

Waited 20 mins over the promised 60 min delivery (it was a busy Friday night so not unexpected) before contacting Just Eat to see where our food was. Immediately given £5 off next order by Just Eat for inconvenience and told food on it's way. It arrived 10 mins later - soup, prawn toast, shredded beef, fried rice and special chow mein with a side of black bean sauce. The only item in any way edible was the prawn toast. The beef was grey in colour, the rice dark brown & the soup congealed with what can only be described as "clots" in it - all completely disgusting! The chow mein was weirdly soupy with a vile garlic sauce & inedible due to the high salt content. The 'free' prawn crackers were brown in colour - who knows why! Just Eat valiantly tried to speak to Lord of the Noodles on our behalf and we were told they would only refund the chow mein & black bean sauce because the other items were in a meal deal - despite the fact only one item was edible! Just Eat were eventually told the Manager had left the shop and would deal with it later - this on a busy Friday night! On persevering Just Eat finally agreed to refund the meal but said we should contact the shop to arrange pick up of the food. On calling the shop the Manager was miraculously back manning the phone! She was rude, argumentative and dismissive - basically said our only complaint was that the food was delivered late ie we were lying. When I suggested someone come & pick up the uneaten food she declined. I will NEVER use this takeaway again & will certainly 'spread the word'! Will stick to the YU despite the fact it is cash only - the 20% Just Eat discount which prompted us to try it simply wasn't worth it - ended up eating 2 bags of crisps!!

Collected a takeaway of chicken chow mien and crispy shredded beef from here. The crispy shredded beef was terrible - it was dry, solid batter, with barely a whisper of beef inside. It was inedible and we put in back in the box (doing our best to separate the rice into the separate box) then returned to Lord of the Noodles. We told staff that the chow mien was good, but that the shredded beef was inedible and that we would like a refund. We’ve had the dish from the same place in the past (and from other places) and this tasted nothing like it should. I was informed that they would not be able to resell the beef dish as it was partly jumbled with rice, so it would end up just going in the bin. Therefore they could not provide a refund! Otherwise was it just going to get re-heated for some other poor punter?! I was really disappointed by the attitude of the staff. We’d been customers there several times, but all they we were willing to do was offer a discount on our next visit. This is the first time we’ve ever felt the quality was so poor that we have actually returned a takeaway. They said they could not provide a refund just because we didn’t like the taste. It wasn’t a question of taste, it was a question of terrible quality. Disappointing. Will not return.

My partner and I decided to try LOTN, as our normal chinese was closed , and have to say glad we did . We ordered salt and pepper chips, special chow mein and spring rolls and it was very high quality food pleased to say I will be back thankyou

Decided to try as the Yu our usual take away is closed on a Tuesday. Ordered salt and chilli chicken wings, chicken in capital sauce and beef and tomato. Everything was completely tasteless and watery, carrots like rubber bands as was the beef! Two mouthfuls each and the whole lot went in the bin. Never again. Avoid!!! Will be shut before long.

Tasteless rubbish! I wouldn’t give it to my dog! I have never encountered spare ribs coated in thick black, tasteless tar before, couldn’t figure out what it was. The soup was not seasoned and tasted faintly like chicken. The sauce on the main course had very little flavour and the chicken is formed/cubed and tasteless not like chicken breast at all. Really disappointed. Won’t be back!!!

Had another yummy take out from here and yet again it was absolutely delicious!! Food is always so tasty from here! I do like that it is cooked in front of the customer too so you can see everything that is going into your meal....

Ordered for the second time last night. Cubed Chicken was of the processed variety, despite menu stating Chicken Breast. Won't be back.
