Had a good couldn't get anywhere in town full up.So we finished up at Lord Nelson a great night was had good service still under cover outside raining allday. .

I've given this five stars because the DJ that was on that night was brilliant. I was on soft drinks and don't really like dancing but I danced all night. I have only been here once before, years ago but the atmosphere is much better now. I felt that the last time I was here, everyone seemed very tense as though it was going to kick off any minute. It's more relaxed and friendly now and I would definitely come back.

It's a cosy local pub, but I think o ly if you are one of the locals you can be welcome here. The cant take card payments and have no wifi. That you may say (on the wifi bit) is a great thing for a pub. But when you are meeting with friends and want to share pics and even have a meeting with someone where you need access to the internet. I didn't really feel welcome there and don't think I would go there again. Nice place just not for me

Popped in here to watch the world cup. A really welcoming place and was a good venue for watching sport. Only been twice but the second time they said it was nice to see me again so that gave good feels

Friendly staff but if I want a pint of water I'll go to Tesco. I ordered a pint of Doom Bar and you can probably guess what I got
