No haber estado aquí antes de que una pequeña fiesta de nosotros apareciera para almorzar. Personal amable escoltado a nuestra mesa , bebidas obtenidas , comida pedida y entregada bastante rápido. Porciones agradables y sabrosas no podrían fallar nuestra experiencia aquí.

Service is prompt, and friendly as always. We had the Sunday roast, my friend opting for turkey and beef, while I had the veggie option. Both were delicious.

We often visit the pub as a family and can't fault the customer service from Craig Tate, he always goes the extra mile and remembers what the kids do and don't like with their food. The food always goes down well and there's always a good deal 👌🏼

It's ok service food came quite quick but the pub is nearly empty, got a mixed grill it was mediocre at best, one pool table for over 18s only? bit disappointed to be honest, couldn't play pool with my son on his 16th birthday, In response to the reply, the 18 only area you have to go through to get to the toilets, where do the kids go outside?

Good for the kids but also good on your own. Food is standard but well priced. Good overall local pub

Christmas dinner was lovely would definitely come again just wasn't happy with all the moving of the tables back to normal while we were still eating wasn't very professional should have been done when people had finished eating

Went today Christmas day(pre booked in October)food was absolutely spot on very warm food tasty soup excellent main lot of meat and all the trimmings and a heavenly dessert Pub was open as well so made it feel more welcoming

I regularly attend with a group of adults with learning disabilities and the staff go the extra mile to make them feel welcome. Great staff, great food.

We have been visiting this pub for a long time. We have noticed in 2024 that the food has been getting worse. Smaller and cheaper quality with higher prices. I have also experienced dirty cutlery. We used to love coming here as they allowed blue light discount and this kept us going back for more. We also loved the days they do special deals. Unfortunately all good this come to an end. The discount we got has been reduced for 2024 and they now have told us that any deals cannot be used with blue light discount. If the blue light is used this removes any deal making the meal full price. They did not use to do this. The same issue arises if you use Tesco Clubcard vouchers. Full price is reinstated before any discounts.

Being gluten free means it can be difficult finding places to eat when you're away from home. Did a quick search online and found this pub 5 mins away (by car) from our hotel. I ordered a Bacon cheeseburger (don't often eat burgers but I thought, why not?) but it came out without the bacon 😕 also had baked potato which was supposed to come with coleslaw but that was missing too so had to ask for butter so I wasn't just eating dry potato. I hope whoever got my bacon and coleslaw enjoyed them! We ordered a glass of coke, no ice (came with a lot of ice) and a gin and tonic, no ice, no slice (ended up with pink gin 🤢 and lemonade with lots of ice) So we looked for the angriest looking bar worker to order our next drinks with and result! Got what we ordered! We had desserts, which the lovely tall redheaded lady who works there was kind enough to bring me the ingredients on the actual products to check if I could eat them, she was the best thing about our experience here! I had the gf cheesecake, which I had to ask for the ice-cream that is supposed to come with it and my OH had some large thing that was missing cookie pieces 🤷‍♀️ The meal itself (apart from missing components) was actually really good. I didn't like the "Unisex" toilet in the dining area, I feel that it would have been better used as disabled/changing area. The toilet seat doesn't fit right and I had to wipe the porcelain before using the loo 🤢 also, water pressure seems to be an issue as the tap was ineffectual. All in all, not a brilliant experience but with a few tweaks, this place could be really good! On a final note, I didn't get her name but the lady with red hair who was working on 14/12/24 and had the awkward customer with the gluten/coconut issues, Thank you so much, if it wasn't for you, I'd have ended up with no dinner that night and you are the reason for 4 stars, it would have been 3 if it wasn't for you xx

Dave the vaper is still releasing fumes stood at the bar like he couldn’t give a ****. Time to scrap this place as they didn’t listen last time and the girl behind the bar could care less this time. Cheaper elsewhere as well…

Horrendous experience. Firstly the app didn’t tell you how to order deals so we ended up paying more! The gammon I ordered was off. Other people on my table tried it and agreed. My brother in law ordered steak medium. It came blue so he sent it back. It came back out with the same sides only slightly less blue. He sent it back again and it came out rare with again the same sides. The sides were by this time soggy and cold. He gave up and asked for a refund. There were other issues also including the staff were lovely but Far too busy to cope with the amount of customers there was a Christmas party of about 30 in so they were very busy!! Can’t fault the staff they refunded everything. The food was awful!!

Lovely clean and tidy pub, staff generally very good and attentive. Ordered sizzling smothered rump steak, pie and chips. They forgot the peas so had to go to bar to request them, started on chips (nice) as sizzler was too hot. The steak was unbelievable chewy, each mouthful could not be chewed enough to disintegrate, had to remove and put on side of plate. Partner said pie meal was nice (other than stodgy gravy). No one came to table to check on our meals so spoke to bar girl about steak after telling them I didn't actually eat any of it and they just apologised and said they would feed it back to supplier, no offer of a discount or refund, so was disappointed that I spent £12.99 on chips, peas, a few peppers in a sauce.

Bit of a mess with the meals considering the place was empty. Ordered smothered steak sizzler partner ordered 15 oz gammon. Arrived with onion rings missing off the gammon, no peppercorn sauce on steak (clue is in the description) just half melted cheese on steak, which I slid to side to eat separately. The peppers and onions were charred black so tasted of burnt flavouring. Girl came later with a little jug of peppercorn sauce which she said they had forgot, informed her that the peppers etc were burnt she apologised and took the meal back. On return the peppers and onions were nearly raw, and now NO mushrooms or cheese! The sauce in the mug was now cold. Partners onion rings were delivered when his meal was just about finished, by an obvious kitchen operative who just put them on table and said "2 missing onion rings", no apology, you would have thought they would have doubled them up for inconvenience. Chap behind the bar is nice and helpful. Would I eat there again? Probably try another time as there deals are very good value for what you get. UPDATE: E mailed them (twice) as requested but no reply was ever received.

Lovely friendly staff, quick service, food wasn't the best, though. Food came out pipping hot but just wasn't to our taste. We had the cheese burger and the chicken burger.

The portion sizes are discusting, very small mouse size portions on big plates, service not the best either. No value for money what so ever!!

1st time I've visited this pub for about 50 years. I was pleasantly surprised, big, clean, plenty of drinks choices, same with the menu, very good. The breakfast was excellent, well cooked, well presented, tasted good and red hot, fresh cooked, definitely visit again.

Perfect reasonably quiet Monday night meal. Staff were super great. Suoer helpful. Food came out in timely manner. Hot and tasty as expected. Great parking facilities and easy to find. I would recommend.

They have a very good choice of vegan dishes, which are all delicious. The staff are genuinely welcoming and go the extra mile to make sure you have all you need.

Popped in for a quick bite to eat while picking our friends up from the train station. The manager Jess was very polite and friendly, the lady Adele who delivered our food could not do enough for us, we will be back again soon

Policy changes mean the establishment has gone downhill and is about profit over people. I have been coming here for years and the staff have always been amazing and the food has been exceptional and the deals are what have drawn us here. I was very disappointed in this visit when I ordered a meal and was not told that policy had changed so that the blue light discount could not be applied to the mix it up deal. Because I was not informed I was charged more than if I had bought the deal separate, which I could have done if informed. I noticed that all their deals have worsened. The mix it up used to be £8 but is now £9 on a Tuesday. It used to get 20 percent discount on the £8 but this discount is usually reduced to 15 percent but is now not applied with the deal. The super Thursday deal used to be buy a super meal and get a dessert or starter free but is now get one for £1. The staff do not update on these changes. Also there are things in the menu advertised as new that are not available when in the restaurant such as the new sloppy Joe Texas toast. The food was good but the experience was not.

The food was amazing, it was hot and tasty, and the service was excellent and quick. Very welcoming and a very clean establishment.

Decent enough hungry horse for lunch. Went in on Sunday afternoon had the roast dinner, didn’t quite look like the picture in the menu however was tasty enough. And for £10 including a beer you can’t really complain. Bar staff seemed a little disinterested, more interested in carrying on their own conversation partway through taking our order! Actually a very tasty piece of beef!. Had a huge ice cream dessert for afters which my daughter absolutely loved, was enough for three people to share. Overall decent value.

Absolutely lovely place, food is delicious and doesn't break the bank which is a rarity these days. We came out for family meal, we was welcomed as we arrived which was so lovely. A family of 5 with 3 teenage boys for 5 meals and 5 drinks £50 and they are all full. I Highley recommend this place for all whether for a family meal or a night out

Sharing platter was tatesless , the nachos were a complete joke and the rest was unseasoned and bland. Our mains chicken and rump stake the chicken was like rubber and made my partner feel sick.. and my medium rare stake was cut in to thin strips and over cooked the corn on the cob was baffling not only clearly frozen but WHERE did the rest of nit go I get 2 tiny bits ... Will not be returning ever.. I cook better at home and am not a professional.

A fantastic fairly large pub with an amazingly large beer garden with plenty of TV screens to watch the football. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful with quick efficient service. The breakfast I had was amazing and certainly set me up for the day. Highly recommended. If you find yourself in Garforth get yourself to the Lord Gascoigne. You won't be disappointed.

Firstly have to mention a lovely lady on the bar who took our food order, she was so friendly and chatty. I'm on a low fat diet so have to look at a menu carefully. I ordered a chicken skewer, baked potato, green salad and sweet chilli sauce, my husband ordered lasagne but when mine came wished he ordered the same!!! It was all delicious.

Came in for a quick dinner, all the food was hot a very nice for pub food. A special shout out to Craig for being a great server, so polite and helpful thank you! Will definitely be back.

Lovely pub, good food and fabulous friendly staff. Visited twice in two days as we were staying near by, both times we couldn’t fault anything. Really can’t stress enough how good the staff are too.

Waited at bar to be served. Nobody behind bar to serve. Had a blue light card. App on phone wasn't working and couldn't sign into Lord Gascoigne WiFi. Showed blue light card but said needed to sign in. Lady behind bar said need QR Code so no blue light discount given.

It was OK nothing to write home about 1 lady was very nice other girl looked like she was just there not a smile on her face had frown when we had problem

Decent place through the day to enjoy the beer garden, nice drinks and decent food. Staff always friendly. Gets too roudy and rough on a night time (Fridays/Saturdays) unfortunately.

We stopped off for lunch on the way to Scarborough. We had a lovely lunch and Adele was great, nothing too much trouble.

This was our 1st visit and we have to say there was no reason to complain. The staff were all very friendly, the food was beautiful and we didn't wait ages for our food. We will definitely visit again.

Bought a half chicken on a bed of onions and peppers (could have been cooked better!) Chicken half ...well, it was like old leather! Very dry, difficult to cut and eat! Really, I should have sent it back. Worst, I've had, well the mrs anyway! I had chicken skewers also on a bed of same under cooked onions and peppers, both came with two side of our choice! The mrs choose corn on the cob! (Two very small and very soggie cobs about an inch long!) Looked and tasted like they had been left in warm water so not very nice I'm told and secondxside was coal slaw, home made so pretty much very high in fats, I had the same, slaw, mine was the same, shop bought way better, and crisper too! Thus was like eating oily or greasy slaw! My other side was onion rings, they were not actual onion rings but onion paste, not as if there difficult to make! The chicken skewers were good but again a little over cooked but certainly much better than the sorry looking chicken half, was a very small half too! Food came pretty fast but would have preferred a little longer wait for food cooked fresh and not well over done! It's a fair time since I was last in there, and will be a much longer wait beforecever going again, such a shame, it used to be a great place for the first few years there, but sure gone down hill with freshness and food cooked just right!

Nice surprise! After dropping our daughter at a nearby kids party, we looked locally for some food & decided to try this. Value for money was excellent, portion sizes huge & well cooked. Decent staff.

Great deal on atm. I got two kids meals and two adults meals for £15.00. Plus both the kids got a free keyring. Aswell as wild summer pass, which offers discounts on attractions for the summer. Staff are helpful and friendly. Definitely be back :).

The staff working there on my visit (Jess and Grace) were lovely and went above and beyond to help. My husband and I decided to nip in for tea when seeing the "feed family for £15" deal. Great offer on at the moment. After enjoying our visit I put my baby in the car and put her new farm book on the car roof and drove off. Got home and realised what I had done. Called the Gascoigne and they went an found the book on the road and stuck it back together for me. How kind. 😊 thank you soo much.

Our first visit, pleasant dining area,looked promising! Sadly the food not so good,a disappointing Vegetable Lasagne,small and dry. The Mixed grill, asked for steak well done but not everything else! One drink each and a bill for £30,didn't feel worth it.

We visited on the way home back to Blackpool after being on holiday in Scarborough, with two grand children and daughter I am also confined to a wheelchair and felt a bit apprehensive about accessibility, but was amazed about the facilities, This is a fantastic venue Mangment and all the staff so friendly and welcoming and professional in the service we received, the food was 100% spot on and enjoyable, Would recommend this venue and we will definitely be returning the next time we in this area, Hungry horse company should take note of how good these people run such a great venue

Curry and a drink for £7, crazy. Service was great, really quick and the food was delicious I thoroughly recommend the Chicken Tikka Masala! With a pint of Guiness being £4.45 it meant my meal with rice, poppadom and mango chutney was £2.55!

Had a lovely breakfast this morning; good value and currently there's a 2 for 1 offer. Coffee is £1.50 with breakfast, toast and black pudding are extra but even so we only paid £12 odd for two. Many places will charge more just for a bacon butty & drinks!

Once a drug riddled place... Always a drug riddled place. Used to come nearly every weekend 10years ago, came back this Saturday evening and the customers were doing drugs in the mens toilet. We walked back out once this was realised. The many owners keep trying to shake the reputation but it appears stuck. Food wasn't great either, it was just ok. Staff are lovely people though. Revised Apr 2024 (additional star given): Food visit Thursday approx 5pm. Food was so much better!! Like loads better! Staff are still amazing and wonderful. Still wouldn't visit on an evening 🤷🏽‍♀️
