Amazing Sunday lunch! The best Sunday roast I’ve ever had. Beef was melt in the mouth, huge Yorkshire puddings, fluffy roasties and delicious gravy. Lovely selection of veg too in little side dishes. Starters were all great, I had game terrine. Too full for desert unfortunately, but they looked good too. Lovely hotel and village to wander around. Loads of history. Would definitely recommend

Just back from a fabulous 2 night stay at this lovely hotel. Our room was exceptionally comfy, with everything though of - maps, a torch and a compass for hiking the moors, home made cookies and fudge along with a nespresso machine and tea making equipment, and delicious fluffy towels and bathrobes. We ate dinner in the restaurant on the first night which was delicious and the breakfasts were wonderful. ( my husband was thrilled to find big juicy kippers on a really extensive breakfast menu) Everyone we encountered were charming and eager to help - I literally cannot equate the experience we had this weekend to the recent poor reviews. A fantastic weekend and we will definitely be back. Thank you

It has been a few years since we last visited the Lord Crewe Arms for dinner with certain reservations in view of recent mixed reviews. We sat upstairs with its nice ambiance and enjoyed a quality experience both food/wine and attentive service. The food which was locally inspired was excellent in taste and presentation. Thanks to some of the the staff specifically Matty who went well beyond the extra mile to sort out a non-dining issue for us.

I’ll start with the positives. Lovely venue in a great little village. We went for a Sunday lunch with friends and the roast was average pub level but at a high gastro price. As said in previous reviews the roast potato’s are poor. Yellow in colour and undercooked. The vegetables don’t come on your plate but in some weird serving dishes you have to share and the choice of vegetables is odd. No carrots or parsnips instead you get beetroot. By far the worst part is the service, it’s non existent. You get bought your food with no cutlery and you have to request it. We were given soup spoons with our desserts as they had run out of the proper ones. To top it all off there is a 12.5% tip put on the bill at the end for this terrible service. I’m sure it could be removed but no one wants to be the person to ask. It should be optional but I’m sure they are aware no one will be queuing up to pay extra for being ignored.

I have been trying to go to this place for years I finally got there on Sunday but I was so disappointed in the Sunday lunch. The meat was lovely but the so called crispy roast potatoes were very hard and yellow no colour at all , gravy runny and tasteless and the vegetables were served in tiny little ramekins and for some reason included beetroot. I would have rather had a bit more cabbage rather than the 6 bits we had .

Tried this place again in the hope of some measured improvement. Alas, it was not to be. Slow and inattentive staff serving very mediocre food. In need of better management and a new chef. So sad.

For years I have recommended this place to friends as somewhere special to go for fantastic food. But sadly, this is no longer the case. Our recent visit was very disappointing, the amazing Sunday Lunch platter has been replaced by a very average and somewhat overpriced basic menu and the whole place has lost its buzz. What used to be a memorable unique experience has now changed into a run of the mill ‘somewhere to eat’. I’m not having a go at the food as it’s still better than most, it’s more The Lord Crewe Arms has lost its magic.

In the area, lousy weather so where better to go for lunch. Starter and desert were excellent. BUT the fish pie- hunt the fish and rename pea pie. For £19 it should have been packed with a variety of fish, just flakes of white fish in my pie. Will not be returning.

Been to this place earlier in the year for Sunday lunch (5* experience). Sharing platter for the table for each course (starters, mains and sweets with all the options) was a novel idea and provided a good satisfying meal with all the food well cooked and of a high quality and good service, greatly enjoyed by the group of four. Price slightly on the high side but well worth it for what you got. On the basis of this experience decided to return for Sunday lunch again. Extremely disappointing - the sharing platters have been replaced by a standard Sunday lunch menu where you select your own menu items, losing the novelty value of the sharing platter, and less food! The food itself was pretty ordinary and the service very slow and the price appears to have gone up. Will not be going back, this has degenerated from an exceptional experience to the level of a bog standard pub lunch at an inflated price.

It's a beautiful place and generally good food, if not a little pricey. So I was very disappointed when randomly the bar downstairs added 3 drinks to our bill, and when I said they'd made a mistake, I was asked twice, "are you sure you didn't go to the bar first." They were taken off but I was left with the distinct impression the manager thought I was lying, and not even a hint of a, "sorry about that". So that'll be the last visit.

Terrific. Terrific. Terrific. I didn't really want to write this review as I don't want people knowing about it and then I find I can't get in there again! I know the Tyne Valley well and this is, by a country mile, one of the best places to eat (alongside the Beaumont Hotel in Hexham and a few others). They were recently featured favourably in the FT for Cosiest Place to Eat. Well deserved. End to end - excellent - greeting, at table service, quality of the food, ambience, the whole thing. Go. Go. Go. Well done to all of the team.

Welcome good, and service good. However, the A4 print off menu handed to us at the table then whisked away as if valuable after ordering was nothing like the sample on their website the morning of our visit. I wonder if that was in order to stop customers comparing it later. Choice was limited in all sections and prices had been hiked up. Starters were too expensive to bother with. Mains - Haddock & chips very good though surprisingly served with 'Fish Shop Curry Sauce', Chicken Schnitzel was OK but only served with skinny chips (no veg.), Omelette OK but again only served with skinny chips (no veg.), Burger good again only served with skinny chips (no veg.). For the price we would have expected some veg. even if only to be shared. Dessert (the valuable paper sheet menu was returned then whisked away again) - two of us had a chocolate/orange thing with a few crumbs of some lattice or other scattered on top. No sign of cream or ice cream to go with it and the portions were ridiculously small, more like a quarter of a portion and certainly not £8 worth. When the waitress was clearing up we mentioned the lack of cream, etc. and she said we could have had some if we had asked for it. I dare guess that vegetables would also have been available if we had known to ask for them, and no doubt at an additional charge. Service charge (10% I believe) was automatically added to the bill. Generally the atmosphere was good, nice & warm on a cold day. Food tasted OK but for the high prices charged nowhere near good value for money.

We came to the Lord Crewe Arms for a birthday treat - a few nights away from the stresses of working life. We had dinner in the restaurant. The ambience and friendly service made for a relaxed meal. Our food was really, really good, particularly the beetroot starter, hogget rump main (just fantastic actually, tender and flavoursome) and duck egg custard dessert (bold flavours that fitted perfectly together and demanded big spoons-full). We’re eating here again tomorrow night!

Sat upstairs for quiet ambience as one of our party is very hard of hearing. It worked well. Lovely room and excellent service. Good menu choices and sensible portion size. We had 4 different mains and starters between us and there were no disappointments Attentive and competent staff. Only one little gripe. In my opinion where a main course clearly requires a carb eg your lamb then this shouldn't have to be paid for as a side dish. Loved the sardine starter but warn people about the bones! Ice cream should also be added to the menu for those wanting a light dessert!

Visited Blanchland many times and this time we decided to lunch. The building is unique and worth the visit. The garden is lovely. The staff helpful and friendly. The menu for our day not as good as online but that's the way of meeting differing tastes. Chips are glorious and highly recommend the fish and chips. Ham terrine tasty, chutney overdone, salad dressing fine but just a bunch of leaves. No butter for toast. Asparagus sauce too laden with garlic. -would benefit from roll/bread to mop up sauce. especially for the price. Omelette indifferent and greasy, salad a bunch of rocket with grated cheese. Nothing else. Egg on ( indifferent) chicken schnitzel over cooked and not runny. So you are always asked is everything alright and you think well yes it is ok and ambience and service great while thinking disappointing average/poor food . Would return for fish and chips but nothing else.

Here for Sunday lunch, it call comes on a sharing platter 2 slices of beef, 2 slices of loin of pork and a chicken breast plus an array of vegetables and an enormous Yorkshire pudding. Beef come rare which I couldn’t eat, the loin of pork not cooked enough fat was white and no crackling on the outside, chicken breast the same skin no browning of the skin it looked insipid. So cut the meat from the pork loin and tried some of the chicken. Ended up just eating the vegetables and Yorkshire pudding. The desert’s redeemed the situation. No I would not re.

I drove an hour out of my way to have lunch here on a damp Saturday afternoon in March. It was worth the drive. At first, entering, finding staff and getting a table was confusing. I entered through the main door. There were no signs or a hostess. I saw a waitress and she told me to go to the bar. The one bartender was busy. After a few minutes, he asked what I wanted to drink. I told him I wanted a table for lunch. He then had to go speak with someone else before showing me to a table upstairs by the fireplace. It was a lovely room that looked a little like an overflow room. I could be wrong. He seemed to be doing triple duty as bartender in the pub, host for tables, and serving any drink orders as all alcoholic drinks, even wine, is delivered by him thereby leaving the bar in the downstairs pub unattended. They need a better system. I've never seen something as confused and inefficient as this. That aside, the somewhat limited lunch menu was a little different than the published menu on the website. I ended up ordering the caesar salad with chicken. It was honestly the best caesar salad that I've had in a long, long time. The only reasons I rated the restaurant "very good" as opposed to "excellent"? First, the whole arrival system. It was a complete disaster. Second, the lettuce in the salad wasn't chopped up. The knife they gave me was basically a butter knife. It was difficult to cut the salad into pieces to eat. Third, the wine list is extensive but extremely limited for wines by the glass. Considering the fact that many customers are driving there for lunch or dinner, a bottle of wine is unrealistic. There should be some more options by the glass. Ignoring those two things, the food was superb. The young waitress was attentive. I absolutely loved the decor and theme of the Lord Crewe Arms. If in the area, I would return. Hopefully there will be a better system when and if I return.

Decided to have lunch at the Lord Crewe Arms as visited some years ago. Seated quickly and it was lovely to have the radiator on as very cold outside to find the staff then propped the door open for their ease when delivering food. Service excellent but drinks and food very expensive…..£19 for chicken and ham pie (not a pie as only a shortcrust pastry top) usual argument about what constitutes a pie. Had the pie with chips and peas…..way overpriced for basic food. Burger was lovely for my husband but again, not fancy food, but overpriced. Won’t be back as the day out was a treat and with prices as they are, can’t afford to eat on a regular basis there. Looked at room costs too…….way too much for a weekend away. If you want returning customers, as we would be, please price reasonably.

It was my birthday yesterday and my husband had pre-booked our special table at the High Force Hotel Hotel for birthday lunch. When we arrived, the Manager had deliberately moved us to another table to accommodate a larger on the spur of the moment party. I was really upset and we left to go and spend my birthday lunch at home with something out of the deep freezer. When we arrived home my husband telephoned the Lord Crew Arms on the off chance they could accommodate us at such short notice. and explained the problem we had had. Marie answered the call and told us they had received a cancellation for two so would be delighted to see us. On arrival we were greeted by Marie and her team who were professional, attentive and nothing was too much bother for them. Within minutes we were seated at a table in the Old Norman Hall right by the magnificent fireplace, the ambiance was delightful, Marie and Cameron were absolutely wonderful in providing a superb service to us throughout our meal.It is so refreshing these days to receive a caring and attentive level of service by people who genuinely wish to make us feel welcome as valued guests. The food was superb and the presentation of their Sunday Lunch in a platter format was innovative and spectacular not to mention delicious..... Including the added delight when Happy Birthday in Chocolate was written on my Desert plate. I had a fantastic birthday meal. This was our third, but probably last, visit to this beautiful but incredibly frustrating pub. It ought to be so good - the setting is perfect, the rooms beautiful and the menu tantalising (for meat eaters...see below). We booked in for lunch after a walk on the adjacent moor. Despite plenty of space in the main room we were put into a back room and promptly forgotten about - it took 25 minutes to order drinks, and we eventually had to go and get them from the bar ourselves. Food service was similarly forgetful - we did complain and received a free coffee, but the pleasure was already ruined. As vegans we already knew from past experience that this pub has never heard of the term, so were not surprised to see nothing vegan whatsoever on the menu. What was more surprising was the lack of decent vegetarian options. There were a few starters but only one main, which consisted of mushrooms on toast with egg and chips on the side, plus a few leaves. Could the chef demonstrate more disdain for vegetarian cooking than that? What's more, none of these ingredients were very well cooked, and the plate cost £16!Puddings were a bit better, I have to admit - a good chocolate and hazelnut cake with clotted cream. It's such a waste that a pub like this, with serious foodie pretensions and the most dreamy setting imaginable, can't join the 21st century and provide some tasty and imaginative vegetarian - hell, even vegan - food alongside its proud meat offerings. We were just so disappointed and won't risk feeling the same way again - bye, Lord Crewe Arms, and let us know if you ever work out how to cook without meat.

Staff pleasant and very attentive. They recommended a local gin which was delicious with a strong juniper background to it. Starters of feta cheese plus Isle of Wight tomatoes, and chicken parfait arrived promptly and were followed by chicken schnitzel and a beef burger. What a huge disappointment after driving so far to sample the atmosphere of this most impressive looking hotel/restaurant/bar.And that’s part of the problem. What is it? I’m not sure it knows and there is evidence from previous reviews of what we experienced. After May 17th, your were allowed to be seated “inside” for food and drinks. It has been tough being forced to sit outside in the cold months now behind us. So to be inside; lovely. On arrival at noon on a Thursday, we were “virtually told” we could not sit inside and were shown through the completely empty building, to a large garden with not a single person sat at any of the many tables. Lovely garden though it is, we would have preferred to experience the bar inside. We were told someone would come and take our drinks order. We waited. After several minutes, I went to look for someone? Nothing. After several more minutes, a couple walking, entered the garden from the car park with a dog and suddenly a member of staff appeared from the hotel/restaurant/bar and walked straight past us and “confronted” the new arrivals. Basically, they were turned away and told “we’re fully booked?”This couple had made a total of “4 people on site” and the first two (us) already majorly ignored? After 10 minutes of still no drink, we decided to leave as well. We caught the couple up in the car park and they were not happy at all. Any more than we were? Basically no “service” available and we all agreed we just were not made welcome? Sorry for inconveniencing you.We also agreed between us, that there are plenty of places that would welcome our money.(This includes the cafe and tea rooms across the green, where the service and attention paid to customers, is superb. Lord Crewe could learn from them.)We won’t be going back!! Didn’t deserve one star.

We signed in and we’re given a table outside the lady said someone will come and take you order. 30 minutes later and after watching 3 other couples come in and get served we left without any service. Terrible Service staff ignorant I asked one young man if he could take my order he said we’ve got a backlog. Not really when 3 other couples had come after us and been served. My advice is go to another country pub that values its customers

We had booked for a bank holiday lunch and on arrival we were seated on a very long table in a side room which was slightly strange as there was only two of us. There was another table nearby but it was very quiet and was slightly awkward. I didn’t recognise the room we ate in as it was definitely not the dining room restaurant I’ve seen on photographs, it was almost like a walkway for customers to visit toilets as so many people kept wandering by. The room was extremely cold due to the door to outside being left open the entire visit. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive but we came away slightly disappointed with the food. We ordered a ploughman’s lunch and fish cakes for main which were nice but extremely overpriced. I was actually shocked at the size of the ploughman’s lunch for £16! I’m glad my partner didn’t choose that dish as he would of still been hungry! Both lunches were tasty but for the price its not good value. The ploughman’s lunch had two small pieces of tough bread which was dry and I had to order butter. My partner ordered mayo to have with the fries but it never arrived. We overheard the nearby table complaining they’d waited so long for some mustard for their burger and it still hadn’t arrived. The restaurant was not busy so really there is no excuse for this. We ordered a cheeseboard for dessert and enquired about what cheeses it included and were advised a cheddar, blue and brie. When it came it was literally two bits of cheese, a few crackers and chutney. No butter or Brie. It was sooo poorly presented for £8! We had to ask about the brie to only be told there wasn’t any... We love cheese boards but honestly would never recommend getting one here, I can’t believe it was allowed out the kitchen looking the way it arrived. Thankfully the bill was a lot cheaper than we were expecting due to the eat out to help out scheme. It’s really disappointing, we traveled quite far for lunch and felt quite let down. There are plenty of good restaurants in Northumberland that offer the same quality food but much better priced!

Really disappointed this time with the food at the Crewe. Have eaten here many times and today was poor. I booked for the bank holiday evening originally and then I was called to be told website bookings were messed up so was there anyway I would swap to lunch. Didn’t mind this as we have had good lunches there in the past. Today though we arrived for the booking at 2.15 to find there was very little food left. Told originally it that or nothing - we nearly left as this as felt very pissed off. It was eventually dealt with by a special dish being made but not without some hassle and frankly we left feeling our meal out was rather spoilt by it having to argue and state a case that it wasn’t fair to leave pre booked diners without food. Clearly the weather was good so they had been busy with walk in customers which had messed up the numbers but it wasn’t a nice day out when you have to argue to be fed. I did you a favour by changing my booking but you spoilt my lunch in return. Very disappointed this time.

Cleverly reorganised to cope with social distancing. All the food was excellent, crab starters and cod mains. Great to be able to come back, great surroundings and pleasant, competent staff.

My husband and I had to make a last minute reservation as our honeymoon to Kenya didn't happen. We spoke with Lisa on the phone and she was lovely and she booked us in for a room for 3 nights (sadly this ended up as 2 nights due to the dreaded coronary pub closures etc, but this was not their fault). Our room was beautiful and the fudge was delicious!! There was also a bottle of Prospero in the room and a card congratulating us on our wedding, this was an especially nice touch as the previous few days had been extremely exhausting and we hadn't particularly felt like we were on honeymoon. The staff were all lovely and welcoming. We dined in the restaurant and the food was amazing! ( I have been dreaming of that spiced cod since we left!) The breakfast both morning's were delicious. It was a wonderful stay and we cannot wait to come back in January! See you soon and thanks for everything!

Beautiful hotel situated in a quiet village. The room was delightful with so many extra little touches. Little packets of fudge, homemade biscuits and nespresso pods replenished daily. Including the dog treats too. We ate in the restaurant two out of the three nights we stayed and on both occasions the food was excellent. The other night we had snacks in the Crypt Bar which were again excellent. The only minor point on the downside was that the restaurant menu didn’t change in the three days we were there. Understand it is a quieter time of year Breakfast choice was very good including the home cured smoked salmon which was again excellent. Drinks are reasonably priced for a hotel and the Crypt Bar has a lovely atmosphere where guests and local mixed. Very dog friendly and great walks straight out of the hotel All the staff were very friendly and accommodating and we look forward to returning later in the year after the tourist season.

We stayed last year and just loved it here. It is one of my favourite places to stay! We decided to return for a friends special birthday and we had the most amazing time. The hotel, staff and food are fantastic. We love the rooms. We stayed in Tom Forster this time and booked the Radcliffe for our friends. The decor in the rooms is a really high standard with a homely, country feel with really good facilities and delicious biscuits and fudge! The Radcliffe is a fabulous, huge room, we stayed in it last time and would definitely choose it again. The Tom Forster is a really good sized room and has a wonderful view over the back of the hotel grounds and beyond. Only very minor thing to note was that the fan for the kitchen came on in the morning and could be heard in the room. It didn’t disturb me at all, I hadn’t even noticed until my Husband said he’d heard it from 6am.Our evening meal and breakfast were so delicious! The food here is really good. The serving staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. We would highly recommended The Lord Crewe and we can’t wait to come back again!

Blanchland and the surrounding areas are our favourite go-to places for walks and we always end our walk in The Lord Crewe, enjoying a scone with jam and cream and a cuppa. So I was absolutely thrilled when hubby booked a surprise overnight stay recently for my birthday. The atmosphere in this ancient building is so relaxing with open fires and candlelight. The food and service are excellent. Our room, Jeffrey’s Rake, was immaculate and offered such attention to detail: interesting books and magazines; a square of locally produced fudge; home baked cookies; personalised postcard; fluffy bath robes and towels; range of delightful soaps. Perfect! Breakfast choice was extensive, the smoked salmon is amazing and I believe it’s smoked on site. Many thanks to my hubby and The Lord Crewe for a very memorable birthday.

We had been looking forward to our visit with friends for a festive lunch having enjoyed this a couple of years ago. This time got off to a bad start when we were seated at a long table next to a family, which made conversation difficult for us and two of our party had to sit on wooden benches. The table was well away from the open fire and a constant through draft from a door meant I was very cold. The Christmas menu at £25 was a set menu of one choice per course. I had difficulty choosing from the alternative menu as it was very uninspiring. Eventually decided on fish and chips. The batter was excessive and not properly cooked in parts, the chips were dry, and I'm not sure what was in the tartare sauce but it tasted odd. My husband's venison burger was dry and the frozen thin chips not cooked. The price of a ginger beer at £3.45 was extortionate for a bottle that can be bought in Waitrose for £1.25. We hear the chef has changed. We won't be back.

We have visited the Lord Crew Arms on two previous occasions and have thoroughly enjoyed our meal. I have to admit to being an absolute fan of the place. I love the very sympathetic renovation that they did a few years ago. The bar in itself with its vaulted ceiling is something else. However, on this particular occasion the food did not come up to scratch. The starters were lovely, celeriac soup, pate, chalk trout & quail. No complaints there. Sirloin steak served with really over large ‘chips’, bunch of watercress & a flavoured butter. Steak was fine but not amazing and really could have done with tomato & mushroom garnish and perhaps a sauce for £28. Crab Pappardelle was lovely. I had the duck confit - it was served with sprouts, bacon & a beetroot & Stilton filo tart. There were way too many conflicting flavours and frankly just didn’t work. The duck whilst ok wasn’t the melting duck that I have had in the past. At £24 it was again, disappointing. We did overhear another couple say they didn’t want the big chips and opted for the onion rings instead. Maybe they should take that on board.

Just returned from Sunday Lunch at the Lord Crewe Arms, Blanchland to celebrate a birthday with 9 people. Lord Crewe Arms is in itself a charming, interesting and lovely place to visit. The Sunday lunch was perfect. We all loved it and agreed it was one of the very best Sunday Lunches, and we have many. Our daughters came down from Glasgow in Scotland and our son and his family came from Darlington and we came from Hartlepool. Well worth the visit. The way the lunch was served was unique and excellent. Sharing but in a different way. Lots of food. Excellent starters and desserts. The service was excellent too. Nothing too much trouble for these lovely people. We went on a cold, rainy day and the place was lovely and warm even though there was a lot of stone floors etc. Definitely worth a visit. Loved it all.

We celebrated my birthday/our anniversary here last Saturday and it was a perfect celebration, starting with a complimentary aperitif to commemorate the day. For the first time we sat in the upstairs restaurant and it is fabulous, very atmospheric and with beautiful views over the sunlit hills The chef is to be commended - we are veggies and as we didn't feel like the pasta on offer on the menu, she prepared one of the best dishes we've ever had, a mushroom and polenta medley that was out of this world. The starters were excellent too and we had a bottle of very pleasant Portuguese wine, The service was also brilliant, nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended.

We ate here with local friends last night and had a truly great meal and experience. The 12th century setting was so special. The drive to get to it through the countryside, just beautiful. Very high quality of food, drink and attentive service throughout the meal. We had a leisurely meal, and it was a special occasion type of place. Be prepared for the cost to be somewhat high but it is a unique experience well worth it. There were limited vegetarian options but excellent fish and all the dishes were artful and satisfying.

Ate here at lunchtime. We were warmly welcomed and the ambiance and setting is quaint and different. Service was excellent. The starter of ham hock terrine was delicious and reasonable value for money. The flat iron steak at £18 was nice and well cooked. For this, a bowl of chips and a few green leaves we felt it was overpriced. I think other options offered better value, for example the Reuben sandwich.

Had looked forward to eating here with friends after a number of personal recommendations and were disappointed, if honest. We had drinks beforehand, served in the garden which was very pleasant. The waiter took our orders and after a fairly long wait we were just getting up to go into the restaurant when a waiter came to tell us our table was ready. The starters were pleasant enough but then we had such a long wait for the mains to arrive. We chased them up and eventually, nearly an hour later, they turned up. The food was reasonable certainly not at the level or quality this place advertises nor what we expected from the recommendations we had received. There was a function on upstairs which might explain the delay, but an hour? Fortunately we hadn't seen our friends for a while so the hour wait was eased by the flow of conversation. We even had to wait for the bill! Don't think we will hurry back

Beautiful building with several small areas making up the dining room. Varied lunch/brunch menu, something for everyone. Overall food was good. Played today, Mon 26th August, Great layout, but sadly the greens are diseased and awful, and the tee boxes are terrible, very expensive bar, and no food being served, even though there was a competition on, and the bar was busy, Sadly one to miss in the future.

We visited Hexham yesterday and found this café in the Market Place, after a lovely River Tyne walk. It was quite busy at 1pm but we didn't have to wait long for our table. The girls made us feel very welcome and worked so hard while we were there clearing tables and getting everyone seated as soon as possible. My husband had a bacon sarnie and I had a ham and mushroom omelette which was so light and fluffy, delicious. Coffees were great too. Plenty of choice on the menu and great prices. Doggy friendly too with a treat for pooch 🐾

What a welcoming, hospitable place. If you ever need cheering up, this is the place to go. We were made welcome immediately, and tony the owner had us in stiches from the start. Everyone there were so friendly, and what had started as an intended short visit, led to us staying to closing. Met some brilliant characters, who all just made our day. Dog friendly too, which was an added bonus to us. Can't recommend enough.
