A really great restaurant with a big menu and a great view to beach!

Straightforward hot food served quickly and politely by friendly staff with amazing views. Everything about our meals were as expected for the price and enjoyed with an unbeatable view of Colwell Bay. We had scampi, southern fried chicken burger and kids sausage and chips. Puddings were good too. Isle of Wight beers were available in bottles.

Dog friendly. Pool table. Best view of Solent and UK.

The location is great but it is a bit of a soulless place. Was hoping for some nice real ales on tap from IoW breweries but the beer selection was more Corona and the like. Wine was just in small 250ml bottles of red or white. More “holiday club” than bar. Could be an amazing place.

Only went in for a drink, staff were friendly but because we had an Autistic grandson we were outside, admiring the view and sunset

Lovely little bar and restaurant with plenty of outdoor seating set above the beach, with beautiful views over the Solent. A family run business, who knows their customer base; toilet and kitchen are kept immaculately clean. The Longbeach offers a range of basic meals Burgers, Scampi... something with chips or lovely fresh salads; crab, ham, cheese, etc....at reasonable prices. It is well worth popping in with friends and family and enjoying scenery and looking across the Solent to the mainland. Many locals use the Long Beach Bar, which tells you it's a valued asset to Colwell and the sounding are.

It's definitely the place to go to watch beautiful sunsets across Colwell Bay. For want of a better description, I'd say this is a family restaurant. The food is basic fare, but well cooked and not greasy. The restaurant is quite small but comfortable. There is outdoor seating, ideal for watching the sunset. There are ramps to access the restaurant, which are quite steep. Otherwise, I'd say it is wheelchair accessible. Dogs are welcome. A carpark is just across the road and there is some street parking.

Nice little restaurant/bar over looking Colwell Bay. Your English favourites are served here; burger, fish, sausage, chips, jacket and ploughmans. Visited a couple if times for food or drinks at sunset, never had trouble getting a seat, but I suspect that might have been owing to the poor weather. Having said that, if it's a nice day, there is plenty of outdoor seating. Service is fast, portions are good, staff are friendly. Nothing fancy about it, so very family friendly. It had a holiday camp lounge feel about it with the layout and furniture. There is a family room with a pool table and one small sit down arcade type game.

Food was decently priced and was probably the best food I’ve had in the Isle Of White since I’ve been here. The chips were absolutely amazing though and highly recommend you go there just for the chips alone!

Lovely little traditional cafe diner. Crab sandwiches were expert and good fries too.

This is not a fancy place and they don’t pretend to be (always good ) We had the crab sandwich and chips - one of the best crab sandwiches I have had. Full of crab and delicious ! Honest home made food

Great place for a 🍺 & some food after a day on the beach, it's 2022 on the outside but 1976 on the inside. Not a great selection of draught beer, but on a very hot day anything cold was a winner. I got Cajun fries which were bizarrely just chips sprinkled with Cajun seasoning, not coated & fried. Didn't taste too bad but I'm not sure what Gordon Ramsay would make of them 🤔

Beautiful views out over the sea. Nice tikka masala that comes with chips and salad as well. Spirits are fairly pricy though.

Very quick service but wasn't busy food was very nice , good price for portion size, children's meals available, bar with soft drinks wine and spirits , lovely view , especially for the sunset.

Small bar that gets very busy but does have out door seating, the staff are friendly. Probably the best place to be to see the sun set.

Afternoon lunch outdoors in the sunshine overlooking the sea. Food served promptly and hot. Tasty and a lot of it.

The real deal that the locals prefer. This bar is situated in the perfect spot to watch the sunset at Colwell Bay. Forget the fancy place further along the prom, this is the real deal that's busy with locals and astute visitors. Sure, you can pay a lot more for a fancy experience elsewhere but Gary and his team serve good value, no- nonsense food and we'll priced drinks. Whilst the interior looks like a set from Phoenix Nights, the atmosphere and good value means it all comes together to add to the experience and the star of the show is the views outside as the sun sets. If there's a downside, it's that this isn't open all year round. Can't wait to visit again.

Rather soul-less bar with food, overlooking Colwell Bay. The view is nice, but this is attached to a holiday apartment site, and that's the sort of functional standard you will get here. Not one to make an effort to get to, but ok if you happen to be close and need some refreshment.

Great sunset but unfortunately the food was really bad. Tasted like frozen food that we buy in the supermarkets. Really disappointed.

You feel comfortable. Staff are very polite ,kind and lovely.
