I confess that I know next to nothing about Korean food.. but I've been here a few times before going to the theatre or cinema and I've always ordered the beef bibimbap in the cast iron pot (which comes with a crispy rice base). The food is fresh, delicious and reasonably priced; staff are friendly and efficient and it's fab to watch the sushi chef when you eat in a hurry downstairs. Main seating upstairs is cosy and the premises are clean. My go-to eating place in Greenwich now.

We went here for dinner on a Saturday evening, it’s popular and busy, lucky we had a booking. The food was nice overall, I recommend the gimbap and the pork belly main was also very good. The dumplings were standard and we found the japchae texture a little too soft, but beef was tasty. They offer sushi too, we didn’t order it but it looked good with proper sushi chef downstairs preparing it. Downstairs in the entry is the kitchen and Deliveroo collection, you need to go upstairs to the restaurant, not sure if there’s a lift for anyone who would need it. Staff are friendly and facilities clean.

We unfortunately had a negative experience last week at London Naru. As some reviews mentioned, the food was bland and soggy, lacking authentic flavors & textures. However what made the experience much worse was when we asked to have the service charge removed, a staff who I assumed the manager came and showed annoyance while telling us something along the line service charge was a London thing, and then literally asked us why we still ate the food if there were issues! We were flabbergasted. We didn’t finish the food, left 2/3 of the kimchi pancake dish and some rice.

The bibimbap was basically just boiled vegetables over rice, with no sauce at all. The rice was sticky and had a bad texture. The seafood pancake was mostly flour, overly soft, and extremely greasy on the outside. Every dish was mushy, like baby food. It looked great in photos but tasted awful in reality. On top of that, they forced a 12.5% service charge.

On a mission to find authentic, affordable restaurants since moving to London from Toronto, and this spot nails Korean food. Came for Saturday lunch and had bluefin tuna kimbap, vegan kimchi, chicken bibimbap, tuna maki, pan-fried chicken mandu, and black sesame ‘guk’ (my favourite), reminiscent of Chinese black sesame dessert porridge. Everything was fresh and made with quality ingredients. The upstairs dining space was cozy, clean, and inviting. I’ll be back to try more.

If u want to experience good authentic Korean cuisine, u should come to this restaurant!! It was the best bibimbap and seafood pajeon in my whole life even in the UK And the owner said they don’t use any MSG at all I really recommend here The seafood pancake and bibimbap here are really delicious. The seafood and green onion pancakes have a lot of ingredients on the outside and the inside, and the soy sauce that comes with it is also delicious. The bibimbap is mixed gently and the ingredients are perfectly cooked. I ordered stone pot bibimbap, but the lightly pressed rice was too big👍🏼 To eat bibimbap, go to London Naru instead of Jeonju,, The seasoning was just right!! How much effort did it take to create this flavor without using chemical seasonings? I felt proud as the boss spoke. The Japanese friend who went with me also said it was really delicious and thanked me for bringing it. Hihi, I was just as proud. May you prosper, boss😆💕

My partner and I get into our own little "trends" and for the last year we've been trying Korean restaurants everywhere we go and in an expanding radius. This restaurant is definitely the best of all we've tried so far (many!) and we go more or less weekly and any time we have guests visiting we take them. On top of some amazing fried chicken, there are many dishes that are light and full of vegetables, which allows for a lighter meal - even when we get a bit carried away with the amounts, digestion is fairly easy! Also, I love sushi, but since I have tried their gimbap I am an absolute convert! The staff are incredible, very attentive and accomodating and the venue is lovely and very well kept. 100% recommended

Real Korean food. This is not the kind of Korean food that is only poorly imitated. It's better than most local Korean restaurants. I wanted to eat everything, but first I ordered soft tofu stew, stone pot bibimbap, and raw beef, and ate it all up. The menu looks exactly like the photo on the introduction page, and the type of vegetables and arrangement of the vegetables used in the bibimbap are done with great care. After eating, I even packed 2 rolls of kimbap. If I crave Korean food while I'm in Greenwich, I'll definitely have to take the bus and come.

Edit rating: not sure what happened with the service, they couldn't find our reservation, then it took 45min for our food to arrive even if the restaurant was just half full, so bad... Now the restaurant claims that they always advise of longer waiting time during peak hours, which is totally a lie. I live just behind Naru and visit Naru frequently since they opened last year. However, the most recent meal I had when I brought 9 friends to visit the place last weekend was very disappointing. They were clearly unable to manage with the number of customers during lunch: 1) service was appalling - they served half the table and then proceeded to serve other customers. Some of my friends waited almost an hour for our food, the tteokbokki which is meant to be an appetiser came only at the very end. Had to follow up with the manager and explained the situation to them but even then, they looked confused and couldn’t tell which order has and has not been served. The worst is that some of us ordered the same dish but only a few of us were served the food; 2) we had a few wrong orders. We asked if the waiter should repeat our order and he said he didn’t need to; and 3) food was below par compared to the usual times we visit on weekdays.

Some of our must-haves are the Spicy Pork Gimbap, the Kimchi Pancake and the Korean Fried Chicken with the chili sauce. This is a traditional small Korean eatery in Greenwich which is a nice addition to the already diverse food culture in the neighbourhood. I tried the five selection of flavored vegetables and the beef bibimbap, with the peach tea. I like my food piping hot, so as the chilli sauce, even on a warm summer afternoon. The price is higher than some Korean restaurants in the City. For a beef bibimbap priced at £14, I would expect more beef. The vegetable selection which cost £8.5 is almost the same as those in the bibimbap.

Nice Korean restaurant near Cutty Sark that comes with reasonable price. It’s very likely to be missed and you probably won’t notice there is a restaurant here. But once you go in, it’s a cute place and feels cosy. It has two floors but not big room so better to arrive before or after lunch time. I ordered tofu stew (as always) and it comes good portion and with much more varieties of ingredients than other places I’ve been to. However, it is too salty / strong flavour that makes me drink lots of water after. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Never disappointed. This restaurant delivers the best Indian food by far ! I’ve dined in & had delivery too… the food is superb, very authentic taste. And you can tell made with the best ingredients & no additives! I’m vegetarian and never short of choices on the menu… I could eat here every week. Would highly recommend 👍

We had afternoon tea at Kinaara and it was fabulous! Staff were great and went out their way to elevate your experience. I especially enjoyed the savoury selection- the mixed veg pakora and dahi puri were absolutely delicious! If you’re looking for an afternoon tea option with more than just sandwiches, you’ll love this! The dessert selection was equally great with lots of variety. Definitely recommend

Best breakfast in Woolwich, i've been coming here for rhe last 12 yrs. Always served fresh and hot by the super friendly staff. Not just breakfast but everything else on the menu is really good and generous portions as well as being very reasonable. Highly recommend.
